  1. Really? That's been on topic ever since Gen 8 was announced. And it was clearly stated by Ame and Cass in the official EP19 topic multiple times, since people kept asking and asking. But i can tell you that Rejuvenation will have Gen 8. Maybe you just got that mixed up a little?
  2. I am ever so amazed by how little some people understand the words "There will be no Gen 8 in Reborn EP19!"
  3. Hehe, Sword/Shield huh? Only 400 Mons.....last time we had that amount of Mons in a main series Pokémon game was 17 years ago, in the original Ruby and Sapphire games back on the Gameboy Advance..... I still can't understand how they can have 807 Pokémon in total on the 3DS, which is obviously a much weaker system than the switch, but "can't" have more than 400 on the obviously more powerful console that is the switch..... There are a lot of things i could say about this, but i don't want to throw myself into full rage mode and rant on for days (since it is THAT much i could say about this).... Instead, i'll just start another run in Reborn, since i finished my current nuzlocke yesterday, completing EP18 with only losing 6 mons in total, and all of them only within the last 2 gyms, and only due to unlucky crits which they would have lived otherwise.... I'll just hope TTar starts his "second season" of Reborn soon, preferably without taking a break for Sword/Shield.... As for my switch: I recently grabbed Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition, and not only did that game's sales profit from all the negative critique Sword/Shield has (rightfully) earned so far, but let me tell you, this game is fun. It reminds me a little of Persona, but with a less darker, and way more colorful story. And without all the "live your normal everyday life" stuff. That should help me kill some time until Reborn EP19 arrives XD
  4. I have 2 questions regarding the rewards: Question 1: Are players obtaining something like battle points for winning, which they can exchange for the rewards they like, or willl you use some other system? You know, like Battle Tower, Battle Resort, Battle Tree (or whatever) would do in the official games.... Question 2: Will Choice Scarf, Choice Band and Choice Specs be among the items you can obtain as a reward? Would be nice if you could put those 3 items on the list of rewards.
  5. So, why i am aware of the guide that @Nicocchi linked, i don't really like that one. Yes, that guide tells you where you can get (or lose) friendship points with all the characters that use friendship, but it doesnt really tell you what kind of influence those decisions may have on the story. I was thinking about something with more details. I mean, you can't deny that a lot of your choices do matter in terms of how the story may change slightly at certain points of the game. Like how the story changes depending on wheter you found all 5 police men before the Taka + ZEL battle in Beryl Ward...
  6. Even if he'll take a little break from Reborn, he'll get back to it eventually. Just look at his Insurgence nuzlocke......multiple seasons n stuff.... Also, about true endings.....if you know Reborn inside and out, you could create a guide for people to see at which points their actions would influence the game in any way. How does that sound to you, @Commander?

    fonts

Yes, that has to do with fonts. The game would look like this if none of the games custom fonts are installed.
  8. As if he'd quit that easily.....he's just baiting for people to tell him that the Solaris battle was intended to be lost.
  9. The fun surprise may be he accidently killed one of his team members during offscreen training XD Or he finally decided to throw the nuzlocke and started using Tiki again, because Tiki Button....
  10. "I hope y'all really like water trainers" she said.....What are water trainers? Ohhhhh.....you mean Pikachu Food!
  11. TTar is also playing with switch mode on, so he could just switch out his Pokémon after the first hit of Outrage, or any other multi turn attack, brings down the opponents Pokémon. Unless it's a double battle, where you don't get the switch option after an opposing Pokémon goes down.
  12. What? You said you had a third done XD With that speed it shouldn't take more than 2 or 3 days to create 300+ trainers, or am i mistaken there?
  13. Cass on a run here. 300+ trainers done in just 2 or 3 days? This is gonna be a blast of a post, and i hope it features at least a few screenshots. Gotta feed the hype after all XD
  14. Knowing what will undoubtly happen in the next episode i guess we will see whether he abandons nuzlocke and keeps playing normal mode, or if he goes enrage^^ In any case i am predicting lots of salt XD
  15. I think the reason why the AI went for Dishsoap all the time is because it was the "weaker" Pokémon, not only by the amount of HP it had left, but also by level. The AI tends to go after the "weaker" Pokémon first after all. Although it also tends to use weaker moves to finish off Pokémon that are low HP, risking to not get a KO and potentially get their own Pokémon blasted off into the sky Team Rocket style...
  16. Next episode will be fun^^ Many of us doubted he'll actually make it to this point, but next episode will be the moment we get to see him finally lose a battle for sure XD Although this may not count since we all know this is a fight you are supposed to lose, unless you happen to have something to counter dem Chompi Mc Chomp Chomp.
  17. Soooooo.....TTar has been releasing Pokémon Axis for 3 days in a row now.....maybe he effed up the Reborn nuzlocke during the recording of the next part, and doesn't want to show us how he just lost to Aster and Eclipse like within seconds? Or he's got massive trouble finding where to go next and has been running around Apophyll for hours and is now pretty much as salty as the dead sea for not finding his next goal.....
  18. Looking at the dev blogs score board it seems you're making great progress on that..... But since 300+ is a lot of trainers to create i guess it'll be a little while until we get to see that post you want to make^^
  19. Garchomp bait, huh? *Imagines a Fisherman sitting there with a rod that has Unown tied to the end of its fishing line...* Yeah.....let's teach Garchomp how to play fetch......good boy! Get that Unown!
  20. Maybe he likes Unown? Maybe it reminds him of alphabet soup he loved as a kid? Ahhh.....childhood memories......such good times.....XD But seriously.....if he just knew what type of Hidden Power that Unown has even that little guy might be of SOME use^^ Although from a competetive perspective i have never seen someone using Unown, so yeah......a chewing toy for Kiki the Mightyena maybe?
  21. Hahahaha, i can't wait for it. Although i guess it will be a while, before we get to see some more information. How many different trainers do you want to have for the battle tower? 100? 200? Variety n stuff...
  22. You think so? I can see some viable options for those Mons he has on his bench right now. Aside from Noibat, which gets really powerful if he takes uo the effort to train it until it evolves, i can see some use for all of them. Lunatone can do some things against Aya for example. Rattata is also easily underestimated, but it can do some nice damage. And Super Fang is easily one of the best moves for capturing new Pokémon, als long as you don't have False Swipe available already. If you put your mind into it, every Pokémon has some use for playing through the story.
  23. In regards to the newest update on the dev blogs score board: Can we expect the "Battle Tower" to be something similar to the Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon Battle Tree? And if so, do you feel like telling us a few things? I for one would like to know which items i might be able to get by winning battles there. I mean, i know it's still a long road until we see EP19's release, but what's a hype thread without a few pieces of information for bait? Or you can just feed us a few screenshots, that will work as well^^ we need something to talk about.
  24. Yeah, training sessions can really get annoying the more Pokémon you want to keep up to your current level. But that is the big difference between Reborn and the official games. It doesn't matter which gen you play, any official Pokémon game allows you to pretty much take any 6 random Pokémon that you either caught or traded and burst through the entire game without ever needing to train outside of just fighting every random trainer you come across.... Reborn on the other hand won't allow you to do just that. Sure, you can beat the game by using no more than 6 Pokémon, but take it from someone who actually pulled that off: It's not easy to do so and can get very frustrating at certain points in the game! And that's why you'll usually want to have a few more Pokémon trained up, to swap out team members as you need them for whatever comes next on your journey. And you can easily beat the game by just training about 10-15 different Pokémon. I can see why TTar doesn't want to train. Training between gyms (or other important battles) is the boring part of the game, and it just swallows so much time. But let's be honest: We're talking about Reborn here. And we all know that Reborn will at some point get anyone to regret their choices on their first playthrough XD
  25. I can agree on that for the most part. Sure, using a tanky Pokémon to stall out a difficult fight, slowly chipping away the opponents HP while spamming healing items IS a valid strategy, but that's about all he does since he lost Blaziken to Shelly. It get's boring to watch over time. If he had more flexibility by training just a few more Pokémon he could make fights more interesting to watch. On the other hand thogh, losing Blaziken was a wake-up call he needed, since he kept overusing Blaziken and Mightyena up to Shelly, leading to 2 strong Pokémon on his team, while the other 4 were weak and not able to fight in gym battles. And while he did change his playstyle and started to train his whole team a little more after that, he was pretty fast to go into overusing Swalot as his new solution for everything. Now that he lost Swalot he got a second wake-up call and i'm curious to see what kind of change this will trigger in his playstyle. After losing his strongest attacker to Shelly and his strongest wall to Kiki he now needs to come up with something new.....or just pick another Mon to overuse until that one goes down as well XD
