Ok, i am officially not sure any more whether this guy has any strategy, or is he just winning by pure dumb luck..... He manages to pull of ONE Sand Attack on Dittoceus and thats all he needed for Dittoceus to miss its attacks while Debby chips away its HP until it was in range to be knocked out by Kiki using Sucker Punch...... That's the second time he pulled of a fight that most people would just accept a forced lose or win by using Prankster Perish Song Murkrow...... But yeah, next episode will be interesting as well, once he figures out he's not the only "time traveler" in Reborn XD And we'll get to see whether or not TTar does know the rules of Chess.....
-
Hahaha, yes, TTar either gets it at that line, or he completely misses this single line as he casually goes through the dialogue, reading it aloud, but his brain not processing the information. It happens to him^^ I mean seriously.....the NPC tells him exactly where to go, and after the dialogue ends he's like "Ok, where do i go now? I have no clue!" Or maybe that's just because he's already coming up with his next theory about something that happens in the game, totally forgetting the important information he just read......

The thing with Nostradamus prophecies is that all of them are written in a very metaphoric way, so depending on how you want to interpret them, some of thoe predictions have come true by now, or none of them at all. Depending on how you interpret his prophecies, Nostradamus predicted World War 2, the destruction of the World Trade Center, and even Tschernobyl......It goes so far that he even predicted the birth and rise to power, or even the death of specific people who started and/or controlled certain events in history.....not saying any names, since i do not want to violate forum rules......let's just say some of them were historic criminals like none other before (or after) them.... In that regard it also makes sense that Radomus dialogues have him saying a few things that break the fourth wall, as if he knew he is just an NPC in a video game. After all, he was created with the worlds most famous seer in mind. I wonder if TTar is able to figure out this little fun fact.......
-
To make it short, Nostradamus was a man who lived in the 16th century who was, among other things, famous for beeing a seer who made a lot of prophecies about the future. These prophecies could be interpreted in many ways becuase they are very metaphoric. His prophecies cover a lot of things that are going to happen all the way up to the year 3797, as he himself once said. He was famous as a seer to a degree that the name Nostradamus is associated to everything about seeing the future to this day.

Hehe, so Radomus is now Miss Randomus? I would have laughed my ass off if he just had called him pyramid head because of the silly hat he's wearing at the first encounter. (which is exactly what i called him, until he introduced himself) I know that Radomus is supposed to be a reference to Nostradamus, but with the hat that he wears when you actually fight him i think he looks more like the Mad Hatter, which is fine, because Luna's whole Pokémon team is named after characters from Alice in Wonderland after all, so Radomus fits in place XD. And Luna fits the bill to be Alice any day Just like Radomus said: "She fancies herself a maid and a princess at once", a description that totally fits for Alice from the cartoon Disney movie from 1951: looks like a maid, behaves like a (spoiled) princess.... And then there is that part where Radomus said "It seems that she is just playing a part in some greater fantasy." which is at the same time referring to Luna creating her own reality where Serra is her mother and Radomus is her father, but also totally breaking the fourth wall, which is a great move on Ame's side. And anyone who paid attention to Radomus dialogue would remember that he breaks the fourth wall more than once.

True, El is trying to convince you the he is the righteous guy here, which he is not, as TTar will find out during the course of the game. Just like Team Meteor he only wants the 4 "keys" which are currently in posession of TTar, who has 2 of them, Luna and Amaria.....pardon, "Ametwo".... Btw.....WHY does he call Amaria "Ametwo" all the time? What is that? Every time he calls her Ametwo there is this image plopping into my head..... Okay bois and grils, get dem MaZtaballZ ready, i just figured out the final boss of Reborn XD (someone will kill me for that one )
-
Well, if this was the case and Nyu hosted stuff it would stand to reason to honor an NPC in the game with this name. But man, the next 2 episodes (depending on how fast he gets past Cain) might be fun. Lots of whacky TTar theory, lots of "FRICK!!!" because Dittoceus, and of course some backstory that will blow TTars mind.....and the very difficult question whether to side with Radomus or El, who both appear like notorious liars at that point if you have not figured out that "Gardevoir" is a Ditto....

Can you blame him? Fern exists to be hated.....or to be pitied because of his inferiority complex (and all of his other issues) Adult oriented plot huh? Like fifty shades of bull? Hahaha, sorry, but i couldn't resist that one after this latest episode of TTar's Reborn adventure XD But yeah, the story is indeed very adult oriented and that is fine, since most of the people who play Pokémon nowadays are actually adults anyway. Also this allows for characters like Cain to exist. Cain really made me laugh on my first playthrough because of all his sexual themed jokes that he so casually slips into every conversation he partakes in. And i catch myself smiling every now and then when i read through his dialogues on my current runs.... By the way.....how did Ame come up with the name of Sir Elyvilon Nyunyunyu esquire the third? I'd like to know the story behind that XD If i had to come up with a name like that, lots of alcohol would have been involved

True, even the official Pokémon games had bugs in their AI that made it possible to abuse certain behavior in certain boss fights. With that being the case, who could blame the AI of a fan game for not being "perfect"? But even with bugs in their AI, Pokémon Reborn as a whole is still a better game than any of the official games. Now, i am not saying the official games are bad, but i think there is one thing that is completely riddiculous: The majority of the people who play Pokémon today are adults who started with Red/Blue when they were kids. And those veterans have been asking for an optional higher difficulty mode for years now. On the other hand, the official Pokémon games are getting easier with every new generation. In my honest opinion the Gen 7 games were the easiest i ever played, because the very early access to Z-moves allows you to just nuke any strong Pokémon the opponent may throw at you. And from what i heard Pokémon Sword and Shield is even easier than that because of Dynamax. At least that is what friends told me, who actually played the Gen 8 games, since i absolutely refuse to buy or play Sword and Shield. With that being the case, it's not really a surprise that Pokémon Reborn is considered such a great game. Not only does it have a great story, but it also gives you the more challenging battles that long time fans are looking for. And it manages to do that even with bugs in their AI. And to be honest, watching people play Reborn on Youtube, or Twitch, or whatever, is usually really entertaining, if you watch them playing blind, because the story will surprise them over and over again, and depending on which Pokémon the Let's Players / Streamers are using, the gym leaders and other important trainers will push them to their limits, if they go in completely blind without using any guides or stuff like that. TTar has now reached a point in the game where he will have a lot of difficult battles, even without nuzlocke rules, so we are in for a lot of fun while watching his struggle to be the very best like noone ever was
-
The AI always had it's fair share of issues over the years, and while it stands to reason that Ame and her team are trying to fix these bugs as much as possible, Some bugs might still remain even with all the fixing they are doing for EP19. And we sure do remember the status updates on the score board that told us the AI is driving them crazy XD Maybe Shelly tried protecting the poor bugs?

Yes, his next destination is Vanhanen Castle, with a little Fern battle on the way. And since he'll be meeting Luna and Gossip Gardevoir, let's see where he takes that in his theories he likes to talk about^^ The part with El and the Ruins will be so much fun, since he can't stop theorizing about anything and everything, and his head will be spinning like a beyblade XD

Yeah, Anna and Noel are both special. Anna is a psychic and Noel is autistic with aspergers syndrome. At the first time you meet them in the orphanage, they both seem to be a little weird at first, which could be explained by a traumatizing experience in their past, yet Anna has clearly proven her powers to be real multiple times, while Noel is a super smart genius, which is not uncommon for people with the aspergers syndrome to be really smart. Then again, it is pretty difficult to notice that Anna is psychic and Noel has aspergers syndrome, especially on your first playthrough, where you won't know a lot of things until a much later point in the game.

Porygon-Z can be tricky as well, depending on your team setup. Cinccino is dangerous not only because of its speed, but also because of its ability Skill Link, which makes all of its attacks, except for Hidden Power (fire type btw) hit 5 times. But i like the fact that Noel uses a Clefable, since not only does Noel carry around his Cleffa doll Nomos, but it's also an obvious cameo on the fact that both Cleffa and Clefable used to be normal types before Gen 6 introduced fairy type. In the end, he will have to resolve to siding with El, if he can't figure out how to beat Arceus. His viewers could tell him to get that Prankster/Persih Song Murkrow just for this battle, but i guess he won't do that just to get past that one trainer. Also in case he really catches that Murkrow he might tend to start overusing it, which would eventually spoil all the fun of him having difficulties with certain opponents XD

It's the circle of life Zumi! Sounds great and i'm looking forward to hear it in game.

With the discontinuation of essentials the main problem with including an entire new generation of Pokémon is that Jan and his team would have to create every single new Pokémon, every single new move, every single ability from scratch. That means lots of coding, spriting, animations, etc. Of course all of that is possible, or else we wouldn't have things like Pulse and Rift Pokémon or the gym leaders custom moves. But it takes time. Sure, we all (including me, of course) have a bunch of questions we'd like to get answered, but let's be honest here: Not only does Jan's dev team have to create all the new (story) content for V13, they also have to craft all Gen 8 stuff that will make it into V13 from scratch AND manually put said Gen 8 stuff into all the content that already exists up to the end of V12. Especially those of you who played Reborn for long enough to remember the times before Gen 6 and 7 existed should know how much changes those meant for Reborn, and it's the same for Rejuvenation. Asking when V13 will be released is pointless right now, since not even Jan should be able to know that yet.

By the way, you guys think he's gonna end Season 2 if he can't figure out how to get past Dittarceus? I mean....he did manage to beat Solaris Garchomp with a daring strategy back then, but still ended the first season. And Arceus is another story, even if his team is somewhere between 10 and 15 levels stronger than it was at Pyrous Mountain. Also the field effect works in favor of Arceus, not like with Garchomp back then where the field effect didn't matter for that fight. Although i guess a primary reason for ending season 1 back then was Sword/Shield, so he could devote all of his time into that project first.

TTar: Hyperbeam my soap! From this day on, humanity was not able to wash their hands any more, because there was no soap.... So yeah....he beat Steelix in just 2 tries, and figured out how to deal with Abra right away. But next up is Noel, and we all know that Noel can beat the crap out of everyone who underestimates normal type Pokémon. And since he doesn't have many Pokémon that are strong against Noel and his team, this gym battle might turn into a real struggle for him next episode. Also, since there will be the next death roulette once he leaves the meteor base, one of his team members is gonna get it....
-
Yeah well.....he's certainly in for a surprise once he faces those two^^ But since he has Debbie, at least in theory he should be able to deal with Steelix and Abra without any major problems..... But since this is still TTar we're talking about, he's likely to panic and try all kinds of things instead of just using that Arcanine of his....
-
btw.....i'm really looking forward to him going up against El.....i really want to see him going enrage because he sides with Radomus and keeps losing to Discount Arceus^^

TTar: Guys tell me in the comments whether to pick Sirius or the Doctor Everyone: Pick the Doctor TTar Imma pick Sirius anyway! "Why are these kids getting taken so much?" Dunno? Maybe they're masochists? Stockholm syndrome maybe? Also "Juju is useful for a change" Yeah, welcome to Juju's bizzare adventure XD Juju's just sitting there, minding it's own buisness.... Why is it sitting? Because it can't "stand" TTar's confused BS all day Well, if you take a look at the things that Anna says, especially at the earlier parts where you first meet her, it would make sense to see her as a little crazy at first. She says things like the player is glowing, Cains eyes are all black, and Charlotte having burn scars, she hears whispering voices of people killed by doctor Connal, and of course she insists that Nostra and Nomus are not dolls, even though everyone else, especially her twin brother Noel, keeps saying that all of that is not true. But then you look at what she actually does with the powers she seems to have. For example, she knew that the player was standing at the locked door of the orphanage when you were trying to rescue Heather. So she opened the door, because she saw the players "glowiness"... Makes you wonder how she knew exactly that the player was right in front of the door, if her "powers" are not real. I mean, it was dark outside, because the game sets the weather to heavy thunder storm for this part by default. Even if she did look through the window, it could have been the silhouette of anyone and everyone that she may have seen lurking at the door.
-
And yet he somehow still made it this far....This guy will somehow make it through the game in a way that no normal player could reproduce on their own run.
-
Hahahaha....Tinfoil indeed Anna is strange in some ways, but doesn't that make her even more interesting as a character? Reborn really goes all the way to present us a variety of different characters...We have easily hateable characters like our "rival" Fern who's just a trash talking piece of sh*t that thinks he's the big shot (sorry, but as much as i try, i can't take Fern serious at all....that guy makes it possible to laugh at him for how pathetic he is, and still hate him somehow at the same time), we have colorful characters like Cain, who easily puts a smile on your face every time he's around, and we have Anna, who appears to be a little crazy and seems be hallucinating a lot at first, but will soon prove that she can really see things that other don't see....
-
Glad to hear that, so i assume the TMs that are in V12 will stay the same in V13. Game Freak really did make a cut and removed things from the game whereever they could in Sword/Shield, huh? But would you consider adding a few new of the new Gen 8 moves as new, additional TMs into V13?
-
Confused Thamill is confused.....even more^^ But he somehow managed to beat Dr. Geezer. Now all the comment section has to do is tell him to pick the right option.....wanna see his face when Saphira Hyper Beams the doctors face only to get kidnapped by Sirius XD
-
Yeaaah, a woman of culture^^ Charizard holding Charcoal or Fire Plate and using Flamethrower is usually ez win against both Steelix on Steroids and that Pulse Abra Team Meteor OBVIOUSLY stole from Lance... Yeah.....since he can neither press the Tiki button nor abuse the Belly tank any more, he's likely to do just that....at least for as long as he's still able to do that.....The Peeko demands a sacrifice every third episode!
