  1. A possibility has just occurred to me... that if we had gotten very complicated, overly executed, mind boggling maps with a desert, forest etc..... I am dreading what the Victory Road will be like in Reborn...
  2. You could equip your mons with air balloon so that their speed won't be cut off by the water surface field.
  3. If you wanna go to the arena, just dive on the very first dive spot. From there, there are three pathways (east, west and south) the south one is where you should go.
  4. A small detail:

    Spoiler

In Reshiram path, Taka's death came of as a surprise because I didn't see an Absol beforehand. A minor detail yeah, but maybe it was intentional? Maybe it isn't considered a disaster? Idk.

The one with Titania and Amaria.

To answer your previous question, natural disasters are the textbook definition ones like landslides, avalanches, blizzards, tsunamis and the like.

Yeah they were both crazy but I think they showed some of their real "darker" selves in that path. Ultimately the important thing was the truth was out, no matter how brutal it was. Though I really believe after this, things will get better for them because they finally let go of each other can't say for Amaria though because the girl is wack

  5. Just finished E17~ Now updated my team roster ;)

    Summary of playthrough:

    Spoiler
    • I got the Reshiram route (ho ho) just because I didn't want to fight Taka in WTC. Figured that to really help him, I needed to give him the push that he needs to leave Team Meteor, even if he would be targeted as a result. Hoping it would reflect on Titania too to relinquish her toxic relationship with Amaria. Both of those things HAPPENED and I am happy.  I've read the topics regarding the ending of both routes and... I am satisfied with mine. Even though Taka eventually dies, I felt like the time he spent with me was worth it for him. Titania and Amy broke up and it NEEDED to happen. It might've turned out ugly (this binch Amaria literally tried to kill me seriously) I still choose this outcome more over the Zekrom one because staying in a comfortable escape will only prolong the inevitable truth.

    • The Tourmaline desert is hell itself reincarnated. I never want to go there again. Beautiful desert but its very... very.... big.

    • I am now looking forward to battling Lin. That girlie is the most scariest character in the game. Her and Anna are the ones I am excited to battle.

    • Titania's gym is the most beautiful gym I have ever seen. As of yet, hers is the best one.

    • Amaria has taken the seat for the most challenging / difficult / 99999 reset gym leader of Reborn as of now. Her Mons for doubles? They can choke.

    • The music in Amaria's underwater gym is FIRE.

    • Highlights for this ep: Getting my Magikarp and Gible, Amy and Tania's breakup and obtaining the mega-z ring yeah boi

.... Overall E17 felt a little short but the content is incredible. Having a branch story makes the game a whole lot more interesting. Now to wait for E18.... time to sleep for years

      Spoiler

I got Reshiram path, too and I'm happy with my choice. It's unfortunate that Taka had to die, but the relationship between Titania and Amaria wasn't particularly good for either one.

It's odd to me how people still keep thinking there's an objectively "right" and "wrong" choice to make: the way I see it is you (the player) has to choose between two bad alternatives (which do have some advantages over each other).

Have you found all the caves and secret areas the desert has to offer?

      Spoiler

Exactly. There are no "right" or "wrong" choices. Destiny is pre-determined. There are just two (or maybe multiple) paths. The choices the player makes just sets it's course. I wouldn't call it "bad" I think it's just... neutral. Nonetheless, I don't regret any decisions I made in the game.

Taka's death was very unfortunate but given to what his actions costs a lot of lives, I think it was his redemption and I really believe he is now at peace (which he really wanted). Tania and Amy's breakup HAD to happen. Who knows it may happen in Zekrom path too but the earlier the better, even if it ended ugly. Hopefully by the end they stay on good terms with one another.

The Desert.. I don't even want to remember. I did get all event mons there, some TM's and also explored Teknite and Suguline but not whole. I would go back to explore more of it definitely...  hopefully

  6. Hello is it possible to use Flash with notmxmod? Or do I need to teach it to the pokemon? *Nevermind got it
  7. Hello there. Unfortunately the mods aren't working for me. I copied the scripts and all the files on the mod folder to the PokemonReborn/Data yet its not working. Specifically the No TMx mod and the select weather app isn't showing on my pokegear.
  8. @Amethyst ..... I am honored to be noticed by the supreme creator. Thank you Ame!
  9. Oh my god... the anticipation is finally over. After checking the dev blog everyday torturing myself finally!! Thank you Ame and the devs!! Side note could I ask about the PBS files? Are they now updated to e17?
  10. For me, Aya was the hardest mainly because of her setup moves with toxic spikes and spikes with the corrosive field. Second would be Ciel because I had no viable electric type on my team that time. Both I had to battle almost 15+ times. Easiest was Charlotte. I had Flygon with Earthquake to thank you for that battle.
  11. I'm excited for the changes in UI, Gen 7 mons and the revamped, now enhanced AI.
  12. Possible additions might be: - Noel having Bewear - Shelly having Araquanid - Shade having Mimikyu - Charlotte having Salazzle - Serra having A-Ninetales - Aya or Corey having A-Muk - Samson having Kommo-o
  13. New members to the party
  14. Honestly I had my doubts on getting rock climb in E17 mainly because of Dratini and Deino. Those two if gotten early, would be very OP against Saphira especially with the Dragon's den field effect. My guess is for the remaining six, we will get Scyther and Magikarp after Hardy and the other four (Bagon, Deino, Larvitar and Dratini) after Saphira.
  15. Gible to in-game event. The time has come... Last one might be Jangmo-o
  16. Twas the time when I was very into Pokemon fan games. Zeta and Omicron were the first ones then I played Insurgence. Insurgence wasn't complete by then (was 1.1) so I tried to browse for more fan games. Then the day came when I come across Pokemon Reborn. All I saw was the screenshots and pics from the game. First impression? Bewildering. It looked like some final fantasy rpg game especially when I saw a circus then a GIGANTIC steelix. Watched some playthroughs on youtube and I wasn't really feeling it. I've gone to play other fan games like Uranium, Sage, Prism etc. Fast forward to December 2016, I had just finished playing Sun and Moon and it was time to get back to the realm of fan games. While I was searching for possible new playthroughs, THAT was the start of everything. I came across HeroVoltsy's account and saw the title "Pokemon Reborn Episode 1". I thought 'Oh it was this game" and tried to look it up again. Recently updated to E16, I've decided what the heck and finally gave it a try. First thoughts? The game was CRAZY with the plot and everything. I first tried to play it thinking to simply breezing with my fave mons and just try to wreck everything. Results? Was a freaking mess. I battled pulse Tangrowth for almost 30 tries. Taka's chatot is just a **** and Florinia? FLORINIA?? That Cradily is just illegal. The game's difficulty is staggering and I LOVED IT. Did a second run, more bearable than the first and haven't been the same since. I think I'm maybe addicted. I am now patiently and excitedly waiting for E17 and getting my hands on my boi toxapex
  17. Honedge to in-game event!! Doublade and Aegislash for evolution/breeding
  18. @Wolfox I'm sorry I missed that. Thank you for mentioning
  19. Decidueye: - Can be both physical and special attacker with 107/100 offensive stats. - Has good coverage moves especially with spirit shackle. - One of the best grass types. - An okay ability with Long Reach. - Mediocre speed stat. - A powerhouse in reborn if you use your cards right. Incineroar: - A great ability with Intimidate. - Powerful moves like Darkest Lariat, Flare Blitz, Outrage, Trash and Cross Chop. Learns Bulk up for a potential sweeper. - A great fire type which would fare well in reborn with its advantages in field effects. - A 60 speed stat... - Can be an ace with foes like Shade and Radomus. Primarina: - Good typing with water/fairy, a fierce special attacker with 126 stat and also good defensively. - Some of it's moves are lacking till it evolves to its final stage. - Good moves with Hydro Pump, Moonblast and Misty Terrain. - Liquid Voice is meh. Torrent is a better ability. - A slow mon. May struggle with fast powerful attackers. - It's typing is a force in Reborn (considering how good Azumarill is) and could be useful in almost all gym challenges. Overall, Primarina would be the solid choice among the three. Still depends on your gameplay whichever you choose. Primarina for a bulky attacker, Decidueye for an offensive pivot and Incineroar for a powerful sweeper.
