Update: Got my gaming laptop Steam better be ready for me cause I am coming. Although, I might be playing Spiderman (PS4) firstly among all else. We will see!

I finally finished NieR: Automata with all ABCDE endings. Also got ending G unknowingly...... yes.
Incoming thread ahead.
SpoilerThis may seem overreacting, but this game is one of the most saddening, most heartbreaking and most gut wrenching game I've ever played. I had leisurely played games that toyed with my emotions but absolutely nothing comes close to this one. This one is different.
This game is utterly amazing. I don't think I have enough words to truly define the associated word "amazing" is. Gameplay was enjoyable, mechanics are well-thought out, art is beautiful and the main plot is just... incredible. Don't even get me started on the music.
I have never been so engrossed on finding out every theory, every lore, almost reading the entirety of a fan wiki page and viewed every possible reddit thread about the game.
I loved how the storytelling is structured into perspectives and even though that it's been done before, it was executed perfectly. The game doesn't tell you everything outright, but leaves you to find out for yourself through immersion of the game. The side quests are also not just there to be an aspect of fun, every quests had significance. Shoutout to Amnesia and Wandering couple, these two left me scarred.
But the thing that I wanted to talk most about... is Pascal. I have NEVER made this hard of a decision before with a game. This act got me questioning my morality ya'll I'm not playing. I had spent a long, 1 hour just thinking what to do. In the end, I ultimately decided to end his life. I can just walk away, but I wanted to take responsibility since at this point A2 considers him as a friend now. I believed machines were doomed to repeat their mistakes, so I did the unthinkable. I didn't see it as inhumane but more like a resurrection. You see.. I don't even know if I sounded sane at that sentence. This game is just so crazy.
Also just... TYL for Ending E. Now this ending just hit right in the feels. This game got me riding a literal train wreck then suddenly ending it with a fleeting, high-spirited mini game of 9s’ hacking segment. Partnered with that beautiful, beautiful music, I just stood up and yelled YES. No lie, tears were almost shed.
I truly loved this game, right down to it's narrative. The way the story correlates to life and death in the real world, me talking about it will be a whole essay so we will stop at that. All in all, Yoko Taro is a well-crafted genius and creator and I decided to stan.
A bittersweet feeling cause I don't want to say goodbye to it just yet. The game really left an impact on me.
Anyway that's it for my ted talk lol. I just really wanted to let these thoughts out since this game came out three years ago... why did it took me so long? Cause I'm a useless piece of copper ore.

NieR: Automata: Route B
This game is amazing I am speechless.

I swear... the side quests in Nier: Automata are darker than every single one of my nightmares combined.

Nier Automata: A Route
I was about to throw hands at square enix cause that was like.. too short?? Until they said multiple playthroughs. They came through

My new gaming laptop will take a whole month before it gets shipped... rip so all my pc games will be on hold for a while. That said, time to start NieR: Automata. Yes yes I know, I’m so late
Edit: I got the yorha edition! All dlc content is already included so that’s a plus

@DreamblitzX One or two years goodness.... dream the most patient human being on earth. Give me an update on what kind of specs you're looking for!! And yes, after approximately 1 hour of gameplay, I can confirm that shit is indeed incredible.
@Chrixai You had a similar experience? Lol
@SilverAngelus I ordered a different model apart from the base one because it was a really good deal. Apparently when it comes to customized units, it takes 3-4 weeks to ship. So yes we will dig in to our grave for now till it comes..

Hang in there~

Seems like it was just yesterday that Temtem was only in beta, now it finally got released.
Can Dialga like, do its thing and slow down time?

@Maqqy Actually, I believe Rejuv has a bunch of music from Super Mystery Dungeon et. al.
Seems Jan loves Mystery Dungeon series as well :3
-
Wow. Judging from your guys' experiences, I really missed out a lot on this series huh. I didn't fully appreciate these games as much as I did when I was a child, this time will be different I suppose.
Guess it's time to pre-order!
@SilverAngelus @Q-Jei I immediately recognized the ost when the starter quiz happened in-game! I was like um wait a min am I in Aevium? Mystery dungeon impact is no joke
-
Few hours left till Pokemon direct which is apparently 20 mins. That’s so long okay what are they gonna announce? Um.
It’s the first time in a while that I’m not excited for a direct. Not really expecting anything from GF anymore.

@Maqqy You've never played PMD?? You missed out on quite a lot, gets to playing!
Also, yes BIG shout out to Galar Moltres! I think they're Fire/Dark, if not being a monotype. Galar Zappy looks Electric/Fighting to me, and Galar Articuno looks either Ice/Psychic or Ice/Ghost. Again, this is assuming they're all not monotypes. But still, hyyyype!
-
@SilverAngelus Never really had the motivation to play it That's why I think it's the perfect time to finally get into the series with the remake of the first games iirc

Started Shadow of The Colossus

Yo Vinnie I finished it. Let's just say tears were almost shed. The last part most especially when I had to deplete my stamina..... I never asked for that
This game is amazing. I learned that the first game from bluepoint games, Ico, was the "sequel" to SoC. Brilliant storytelling with little to no context.
-
Surprised you managed to hold back the tears, I'd have being balling regardless of how many times I've played. SoC is a childhood favorite of mine. It's such an experience. The beautiful graphics, the journey, the music. And the story itself is wonderful. It's just enough that you have an idea of what to do, a vague idea of what's going on, but you can still think for yourself and dig deeper if you want.
I actually haven't played Ico. I've heard about it, I just never really found time to pick it up.
-
And that’s that. I finished Pokemon Shield and all of it’s entirety. My journey in Galar has finally met it’s end.
I still have the gigantimax raids to do and possibly complete the dex (if I’ll be motivated enough lol) but I’ll do those in between my schedule since I will now be tackling the games that I’ve been putting on hold for a while now. Super psyched to finally play them all! That’s as if life will give me free time which it won’tStill have mixed feelings for Gen 8 as a whole. There were parts that I really loved and parts that I really hated. Welp, it’s Pokemon. Whatchu gonna do.

Oop after nearly two years, Pokemon Insurgence made an update. They’re most likely to release another one to finally complete the battle frontier. Maybe I’ll do a new play through

If they indeed make changes to the story and character development, then it might be worthwhile to give it a second chance. The final version was just really rushed because of the lack of motivation.
@SilverAngelus Experiencing it for the first time will be much better in v 1.3 sol so good thing you waited might be fate that held you back.
-
@Maqqy I should've been more specific, my apologies to you Maqqy. I've played it before, and do have a current save file but it's still early in the story and I haven't played in awhile. I meant to revisit, but I kept putting it off. :3
And thank you, I will enjoy it when I can~
It's a good thing that they finally decided to improve Insurgence.
@Wolfox Have you informed them about the "features" that need to be fixed?

Merry Christmas to everyone in the Reborn region
