      I do similar things, although in situations with long trips I sometimes intentionally sleep very little so I can sleep through most of the trip there.

      Well, I just feel a bit out of the loop when everyone is talking about how prominent a role hugging people is in their lives.

      In my case I'd say I rarely hug people. Exception being a couple friends I have that really likes hugging (Which still, they live too far from me to hug every day so).. Or maybe when saying goodbyes to specific people.

      I have the same problem with sleeping, It's either 1 hour's sleep or 12, there is no in between
