Rory looks the apparent android up and down for a few moments before shrugging. "Well, I have to admit that you're more easy on the eyes than most androids I've seen... So I take it that Earth is where you're from? Assuming that definitions are somewhat similar between our worlds... Actually don't answer that yet, I forgot to introduce myself didn't I? My name is Rory, back where I'm from I'm what they call a hunter. I hunt Grimm, specifically anomalous Grimm that are larger, stronger, and leave behind actual bodies unlike normal Grimm. Pretty useful skill set if my guess about what we're killing is right."
-
"According to the woman I talked to that's completely correct. Specifically, we aren't in any home universe. We're between them right now. Which is why we can't leave and presumably how we got here. I'm no expert but maybe we just fell into an area where the like, walls between universes were weaker and kind of broke through. But I'm kind of dumb when it comes to anything that doesn't involve high explosives and giant monsters." Rory shrugs and leans against a wall. "So, what's with you? You clearly aren't... normal. You shoot lasers out of your eyes without the ability to stop it so you wear a special made blindfold maybe? Perhaps your gaze turns men to stone? Ooh, or maybe your eyes are just a color that means you're destined to defeat the demon king so your parents had them removed when you were born so that no one could know the secret, and now you're a swordsman without peer that fights by sense of smell! That last one if my favorite." It's quite clear that Rory is half joking about all of that just from his body language and tone of voice.
-
Rory thinks for a few moments before nodding at the analysis. "Fair enough, you're either getting my aura or my semblance. Probably the former. Since I can't really turn that off I'll just tell you straight on." Rory pauses and his tongue shoots out of his mouth and the snakey appendage wiggles in the air for a few moments before he retracts it. "I'm a Faunus, a snake Faunus specifically. In pretty much every way I'm human except for two main things. My tongue is that of a snake's, obviously, and I have improved night vision."
-
Conincidentally this distraction was long enough for Rory to finally enter sight and approach the girl and woman. Both of them looked off, mainly the little girl but... he wasn't about to question it given what he knew of this place. "Hey! I take it you're new as well? And you... aren't." Rory pointed to the (unbeknownst to him) robot and little girl in time with his questions.
-
Rory smirks at the explanation. "Alternate dimensions. Of course, how silly of me not to guess. Well, can't say for certain but it sounds like I'm not really doing much different now. I'll take your advice and look for someone else, pretty sure I heard someone while heading here." Rory shrugs and walks away. Heading in the direction a the woman and robot he heard.

The man sighs. He leans against a wall as he massages his temples for a few seconds before looking back up. "Yes, I suppose this isn't my world at all. I can tell just from your choice of weaponry and your need to sharpen it... So, Grimm are also a problem... here? Forgive my prodding but where is this place anyway? I kind of went on a bender after celebrating last night and when I woke up I was here, I'm a bit confused." The man shrugs in a "What can you do" manner as he finishes his statement.
-
The man's tongue slips out of his mouth, whipping through the air as he dawns a thoughtful expression. After a few seconds he turns and starts walking purposefully towards the sound of someone sharpening a weapon. He soon arrives in the same room as Mira, looking around. He crosses his arms before finally speaking. "I don't remember the New World having any castles so I'm going to assume I'm not there. Also since I wasn't tied up I'm going to assume that you aren't about to attack me. If I'm not right, I'm terribly sorry but could you just confirm now? I'm not much for fighting small fry and I'd rather get it over with."

In barracks, a man in armor vaguely desert nomadic armor drops to the floor from out of nowhere. He's still for a moment, laying on his back and blinking as he tries to gather his bearings. After a few moments he sits up and looks around, confusion evident despite the fact that half his face is covered. After a few seconds he slumps over, bringing the shield and odd looking "sword" on his back. Finally he shakes his head and stands, pulling his head scarf down as he wanders off to see if he can get an explanation of where he was.

Valerie backs off and forms a shield from her blood. She'll wait for the statue to attack and then reshape the shield to hold onto it's axe. She uses 5 purity. -
Dagda finally looks up from the book. He had tried really hard to at least act like he was listening but... Even for a paladin this was a bit too much. Seriously, he had to sit through some of the driest clerics explaining religion to him that the order had to offer and this talk of instructions could easily match them for their ability to put someone to sleep. Of course, it didn't help that he was a bit tipsy from his attempts to keep himself awake with wine. Still though, this brought a distraction from the boredom even if it wasn't a very welcome one. With a frown the paladin speaks. "Fucked? Like, how fucked? Is it just a delay so we've wasted our time, did someone back out... maybe there was a bandit attack...? What are we working with here Bregovich."

The Muton remaining should feel rightly scared as it can almost feel the entirety of Aquila's attention focus on it. With a mad chuckle the conqueror starts walking towards it, accelerating into a sprint before he reaches it and swings his flail into the muton's body. He doesn't stop there though, because he follows it up by quickly tearing his flail back and slamming it down at the alien's head. Mark the remaining Muton, then attack it, proccing combo and attacking it again.
