  1. Valerie stares at the platform for a bit before shrugging and making her way over. At the very least the statues seem somewhat out of the ordinary from the rest of the lair.
  2. Valerie looks around for a bit. It really shouldn't have surprised her but this was... really quite out of the ordinary. She kind of expected more stone walls and earthen floors when she was told about labyrinths. Still, she might as well scout out the place some... not that it'd help if it changes, which would be frustrating. "Curioser and curioser..." She decides to try the small door.
  3. Aquila marks the berserker and then Blocks. "This is Aquila, I've got two of the ugly ones from that ship we were and and a bigger uglier one charging me." Moves
  4. Valerie looks around before shrugging and following after. Either they were part of the problem or they were an ally... it occurs to Valerie that she never actually asked what witches normally look like. That may cause a problem if they aren't immeadietly obvious.
  5. Valerie looks over the latter two stories a few times. They both seem like good choices to investigate. She buys the tabloid to keep as a reference and heads for the Buisness District to investigate since the dock's problem only seems to happen at night.
  6. Valerie had been heading back home to do her homework when Kyubey had appeared in an alley to deliver his news. His? Maybe it was an it. Could even be a her... Valerie would need to ask it later. With a shrug she considered her options. There were two obvious locations for witches to be set up, but if there were other magic girls they'd be swarming them when they got the news. With a nod she decided to look over the tabloids for any local news. It worked in Men in Black after all. Valerie jogged off to the convenience store to look.
  7. Aquila looked at the Battle Nun like she was crazy when she suggested he go deal with an entire cannon crew. Then he nodded. "Have I ever done anything that'd make you think I'd shy away from a couple of scrubs with a gun? Let's go!" Aquila dons his helmet before starting to make his trip towards the artillery piece. If we waited some of these other guys might take the glory!
  8. Aquila just sort of assumed the yellow lights were a normal thing on this ship. That was a bad idea as he fell when every thing shook and nearly cut himself on his sword, which he'd been getting a feel for. That said, he ran over to the intercom system (He'd asked what it was that was happening. Presumably getting a response akin to "we're being invaded by advent and the Chosen" he'd start running out of the training room and towards the breach.
  9. Aquila looks up from the scribe box he's been using for the time being. If Rachel cared to look she'd see that he's apparently had a similar thought as the screen shows two men in armor similar to his sparring. The eyepatched man gives her a smile before nodding and beginning to stand, removing the black kitten from his lap as he does so. "Aye, I was hoping to ask one of the quartermasters about getting something a bit less specialized for a weapon. Perhaps one of those "shotguns" I've seen.... but I'm happy to assist! Not to brag but I like to think I'm rather good one on one." Aquila grabs his shield and flail from their spots nearby as he speaks, quickly getting himself together.
  10. Arminius, having delivered his grim news heads out into the forest, setting various pit traps and hidden spikes as he went. When he finally can't go on he sets a ward and hides himself in some brush to sleep until dawn.
  11. Varg sighed. Doing a quick once over of his systems he shook his head. This didn't sound like it'd be fun. The lack of any apparent crew meant that more than likely he'd need to enter near the engines so he could mess up something readily important... Varg opens his comms channels quickly. "Vulkodlak here, acknowledged orders recieved. I'll be on them like white on rice ASAP command." With his acknowledgement logged he starts his way to the Cross.
  12. "Well... why don't we help you guys? We have that weird ship, maybe we can find enough people to fix what's wrong with your world." Aquila says with a shrug. He'd be willing to help at least, it was his duty after all.
  13. Aquila considers the question of the winged woman. After a bit he shrugs. "Well, closest I know are the shaman... shamans? I think it's just shaman for multiple... Only ever worked with one... Anyway, to my knowledge exploding wasn't a risk for them to commune with the spirits. Really the riskiest thing was being too close to them when they felt hungry."
  14. Arminius heads into town. His trip into the forest should wait for one last thing. It was only right he informed at least one of his comrades about what happened. He looked about for one of the other off worlders.
  15. "I don't think anyone that immoral could keep a total grip on their people efficiently but..." Aquila shrugs.
  16. Aquila stares at the witch with great confusion. He has no clue about what the man is talking about and it's plain as day.
  17. Aquila nods at the explanations. Honestly that sounded pretty normal, after all his home was ruled by a supreme leader. It's only natural when they're.... "Wait a minute, that sounds like where I lived just with a bit more structure."
  18. "I'd rather die doing that than cowering in a hole.... Wait, what the fuck is a Totalitarian? Or even a nazi?" Despite the helmet Aquila looks really confused about that part. Apparently they were important or something if this guy was raving about them.
  19. Aquila shrugs at the minor scolding. It didn't help that he has no clue what it was that she was talking about. Probably would be something useful to look into though. "You're probably right. But I didn't have anything better to use, so I figured it'd be more useful to try and distract it and maybe wound it."
  20. "None of you were running either might I remind you. As for running to the ship, what did you expect? My armor clearly isn't enough to withstand those "guns" of yours, so staying out in the open would be a terrible idea. And it's not like it could have hit me, the weaponry was clearly underneath it, not on top of it. Besides.... the day we die is already determined, so why should I fear death?" Aquila leans back in his seat with a shrug.
  21. Aquila stares at Nader. He tilts his head as he considers the man's words. After a moment he nods to himself, reaching a decision. "You're a loon aren't you? Perhaps we should have the doctor see about rebalancing your humors friend."
  22. Flanagan stands. He turns to the faunus with a frown on his face. "Yes, we all saw what they did. But in our state we aren't able to finish them without losing more people at least. We'll have to go back to the colony so we can recover, and then we'll convince the director to let us come back so we can kill that thing. Alright?" He knew that plan wouldn't work, but hopefully it'd be enough to get Lyssa to calm down some.
