Jack jumps at the thud, having been caught up in the talk of piracy and generally not expecting that. He quickly recovers and turns to listen to Zoe read off the note. With a nod he whistles for the crew to get the crate down to one of the spare rooms on the ship. "I'll have Surgeon John get it set up when he's done mounting our new figurehead.... Oh yeah, you weren't around to see that whole ordeal. You wanna hear about it?" Jack points to the dragon's head currently being mounted to the front of the ship as he mentions the ordeal.

Jack nods. "Gods, ain't that the truth. You wouldn't believe how many crews just hand over their cargo when we fly the colors and start approaching.... I would, because I used to just be a sailor, but a lot of the new blood we get always seems surprised at how easy it is." Jack says matter of factly.

Jack smirks. "I won't say that I'm a saint, but I like to think I'm one of the more squeaky clean pirates.... Also I don't think I got that joke, sorry." Jack smiles apologetically as he scratches the back of his head.

Jack shrugs. "If we're acquiring your ship, it'll be because we scraped together the coin to get 'er fixed. I may be a pirate, but the only disloyalty I actively pursue are towards the crown and all others that would hold people like me down!" Jack poses for a second with his hands on his hips before deflating slightly and clearing his throat. "Sorry, I lose myself a bit when I get started going like that. Doubt you think I really believe that anyhow."

Jack pats Zoe's back with a sympathetic smile. He looks out over the void of space before turning back to the woman. "Tell ya what, if we ever st- "acquire" a new ship, I'd be willing to let you captain The Enterprise!"

Jack smiles with a nod at the mention of his ship's "quirks". "Aye, I've heard of the massive beasts of metal they have in the future. I love my ship of course, but it'd be hard to contend with a ship big enough to launch smaller air ships any day.... As for the ship, if you want to be official she's "The Free Enterprise". But personally, I just call her "The Enterprise"." Jack smiles happily as if recalling a nostalgic memory.

Arminius raises an eyebrow at the changes to Piglet. He inspects the gremlin for a bit before shrugging, mostly to himself. And mumbling something Alphys can't quite catch beyond "... Such a low amount of willpower." Finally, he turns back to Alphys. "Horrifying, as unlikely it is that it'll ever happen to either of us. Still, I'd call this a success. Is there anything else I should test or should we call this good and probably never mention that incident again?"

Jack was on his own ship, arranging with the carpenter/surgeon to get the dragon's head attached to the bow of the shit to act as a figurehead, much to the chagrin of the long haired man. There's some gawking and startled shouts from the crew as Stella decides to take a little flight around the Hyperion ship, but Jack is quick to get them back to work. He himself did pause to look at the ship though, mostly because he realized they should probably find some way to communicate between them.

Dani and Joan Joan gives her a thumbs up as she looks for something to poke at the fire with, before giving up and going back over to Dani. She leans on him heavily, but after the initial budge the meister seems to ignore it. "Well, if it's not a bad time, it would be nice to have a guide out of here and to... wherever it is those other guys went. I'm gonna be honest, Lord Death kind of... dropped this case in our laps and we only got some explanation after arriving. But yeah, any help getting where we should be would be great." Rory Rory waves off the apology, pulling up his shirt to show the already mostly faded stab mark with a bit of a smirk. "Don't worry, I heal quickly! Besides, not the first time I've been stabbed by someone on our first meeting... Nor is it the first time the stabber was a girl about that age. Anyway, it's fine, I don't mind it."

Francis eyes the brew for a few moments, before looking around. Seeing as no one seemed to be too... affected by it, and besides, it'd be rude to refuse a free sample! "Well, I was supposed to be doing something, but if you're offering I might as well!"

Mercy rubbed his chin at the news. This... "writing" did sound interesting. A method of putting language into a more permanent form would likely be of great help for a lot of things, like keeping bodies easy to identify, or keeping records of what wounds a soldier had taken.... He'd have to request a demonstration from Brilliant Deduction if there was a chance later.

Rory The faunus looks a bit confused at that last part, but eventually nods. Sounds like he hit the nail right on the head with his assessment. "It's definitely possible... So does she normally uh... stab people she just met? It's not that I mind over much, I can heal pretty quick, but... Weird first impression." Dani and Joan Dani put an arm in front of Joan protectively as the girl went for her sword, but when no hostility beyond that was forthcoming he let it drop. Seeing how she looked at the pair, and how given how she described them, Dani cleared his throat. "I'm Dani, and this is Joan. Meister and Demon Weapon, if you want to be specific. Anyway, if they kind of blundered along without apparently knowing how to get where they needed to go, then yeah we're supposed to be with them.... I see it's not a good time though so if you just point us in the right direction we won't bother you Miss...?" Dani trails off questioningly as Joan takes a more active interest in the saplings in the fire, tilting her head in confusion at why someone would burn saplings.

Travis chuckles as he watches the spear bounce off his armor. He'd been worried that this would go poorly for a second, but so far nothing was happening to him... The same of which couldn't be said for the shorty. Er... The one not in the tank, not the... dismissing the mental clarification, he orders the girls to get in front of Cici and Edmond. Tank it on Cicivexia and Edmond. Also not taking the hearlight.

Mercy takes a few moments more to check for signs of infection before seeming satisfied and rising once more. "I am inclined to agree with you on that. But, I would ask that you avoid waiting to tend to wounds unless absolutely necessary in the future. Untended wounds can get you very sick you know.... But I'm sure this won't be a problem as long as I'm around." He gives Lotus a small smile and a thumbs up, hoping to make her feel a little better.

Mercy nods at the summary of injuries incurred. He didn't really know how to deal with the apparent awkward nature of the mantis, but he hoped that maybe she'd be a bit more comfortable after some time working together. He takes a knee to look at the injury in question, before nodding to himself. Given it looked like there was little treatment given, he'd have to make sure there weren't any complications, but hopefully it'd be nothing a little healing magic couldn't fix at the worst. "I see... Well, I'll be happy to tend to any lingering wounds but you'll most likely have to wait a bit longer. I didn't anticipate needing to heal anyone right now so my supplies are back where I've been staying."

Mercy frowns at the update from Bend. He really should have been there to help... Still, he couldn't do anything about it now. "I'm terribly sorry to hear that. I thought that you had been taking a different route I suppose, or maybe I didn't account for the slow down of there being multiple people... That said, if there's any injuries or problems left I can help with, I'll do my best to assist. It's my own fault for not being there after all."

Francis looks around, eyeing up the rest of the patrons as he walks towards the "bartenders". It was an odd place, having a mix of space men and Texans and mushroom people... But he quite liked it! It was very lively! Before he could let himself get distracted, he approached the two at the pot, shouting to be heard over the music. "Excuse me, sirs! Could you tell me what exactly is this place!? This is my first time here and I'm a bit... confused."

Looking over the options presented Arminius rubs his chin. After a few moments he responds to Alphys. "Oh, uh, it was horrifying I hear. Before the current demon lord at least. Now though it's quite fine assuming you're in an area without "wild" monsters. Human men generate excess mana, which monsters can feed on. There's also been attempts to create mana "rations" without the need for men which has had some success. It's very interesting stuff." With his little explanation finished, Arminius tries merging Bombshell's contact with Piglet's. Hopefully that would at least result in a more intelligent being.

Dani and Joan The pair look at the white haired girl for a few moments, Joan because of the odd scene and Dani checking to see if there was anything odd about the girl that he could ascertain from her soul. After, assuming that it didn't seem best to leave quietly, Dani takes a step back, to avoid any possible reprisal for surprising the girl, and clears his throat. Rory Rory thinks for a few moments before nodding. "Yeah, that sounds right. I think she had some kind of always on semblance that makes it hard to remember her because immediately after she left I had a hard time remembering much about her besides the big things... Now that I say it out loud that's kind of sad."

The aforementioned male ant raises a hand in greeting, having easily caught up even after having to avoid the results of the very eager hornet pushing her way through to meet the final group. He figured that this was his group at least, it'd make sense given how banged up they were combined with how late they were. He makes a quick note of each of the faces there before speaking. "Greetings. I'm Mercy Harefoot. I suppose I was to have joined up with your group on the way here but... That didn't happen obviously. I hope your journey wasn't too troublesome without me to provide medical aid." He smiled nervously, his foot tapping a bit due to his nerves over possibly causing trouble unintentionally.

Travis didn't bother listening much to Medusa speak. He didn't have any reason to listen to an enemy. As such, by the time she was done, a tank was already on it's way to add the oh so attractive features (her words not his) of the blue and silver one to the front of his tank it. Rory As much as he liked to play it like he was cool, Rory had actually forgotten that he was petting a cat at all having gotten lost in thought about movie tropes and cats. Which meant that when said cat turned into a person in a puff of smoke, he fell on his ass with an undignified yelp. After a moment he cleared his throat and stood up to respond to the cat... girl.... thingy. "Well, I came over for three things actually. First, my group apparently owns the plot of land over in that direction and I figured I'd meet the people living in the most important looking thing. Two, I got some things from that Yukari chick, I assume you guys would know her since she gave us the land, that said they could be brought to a blacksmith. And three... Some girl stabbed me on my way here I think? She was pretty weird, I think she had a blue orb connected to her? I can't remember many specifics now.... Anyway, figured you guys would know something about that." Dani and Joan Dani nor Joan didn't know much about architecture, but they could recognize the style. "Huh, there's smoke and it probably isn't a house fire... So I guess someone is home." The weapon starts to open the door, but is stopped by Dani picking her up and setting her away from it with a glare. "We aren't breaking into a random person's house. Look, let's follow the path and just... look for the door." Joan sighs heavily, but doesn't complain, following her Meister on the path around to find a front door. Once the presumably do, Dani looks for a buzzer or some other way to get the owner's attention before using it.

Francis looks around with a sense of wonder. Okay, not an evil sorcerer at least, they don't tend to like mushrooms that much. Maybe goblins? But they aren't much for music or magic... Which leaves a witch or something of the like. And that was fine by him, witches are a good lot he found. Living in forests and swamps, healing people, making potions. He never believed those stories about eating kids and candy houses himself. But he was getting off track, first he takes some samples of the mushrooms. They didn't seem very alive so he didn't feel the need to worry that he was hurting anything. And who knows, it could make a good snack if nothing else! After getting a piece of each type of mushroom he could find, he walked up to the tower, starting to bob to the beat unconsciously as he pounded on the door.

Francis looks over the map again, before pausing to look at the fountain with a confused look. He starts to step towards it, before shaking his head and then heading towards the pounding beat. Music most likely... Which made this all the more odd. He'd been in caves before so he knew they weren't that great for music of that volume and type, which only could mean that it was someone who didn't want their music making found.... Hopefully it was just a party rather than anything more... sinister. With thoughts of dark lords and goblins running through his head, Francis walks towards the door, and with a deep breath, opens it.

Francis looks over his choices for a bit, seeming to have a conversation with himself without actually speaking, before finally making his choices. Francis gets the Water Barrel, Megalixer, Fireworks, Plasma, and Slot Edge.
