  1. Arminius nods, going off to find Tattletale to see if she moved the bus and from there, deliver their new best friend to said bus.
  2. Arminius shrugs. "Well, you're bound to find something to entertain you out there.... So do you want to follow me around or go back to the bus? Because I still have business here but I think you've pissed off less people at the bus."
  3. Arminius rolls his eyes, secretly glad that they don't have to pretend to be buddy buddy with Flowey anymore. He nudges the plant monster at it's request. "Sorry, the angsty killers are full. We're going to have to stick you with the people that have no self control and constantly do crazy experiments... Least they're a relentlessly happy lot though right?" Arminius smirks, only really joking about not having enough room in the angsty killer group.
  4. Arminius looks... very confused. Very, very confused. "I'm gonna be honest, I have no idea what just happened. The only thing that went to plan is... you're looking much healthier. By a certain definition." With a shrug, and not much else to do about whatever just happened Arminius follows along with a shrug. At the very least this would mean that Frisk could relax some now. As they reach the door, Arminius smirks a bit to himself as exhales slightly harder through his nose. "This really does suck, huh?" His expression lifts as he starts chuckling outright, which morphs into a manic giggle for a few moments before he calms himself back down to just a smirk.
  5. Arminius frowns before turning to Frisk. "Kid, please go wait outside. You're letting him get to you." Arminius waits until Frisk had left and definitely was not listening in, using one of his minions to remove the child if needed before turning back to the doll. "I can only hope that you start feeling bad about hurting other people soon, because otherwise this will be a painful journey for both of us." Arminius sighs and concentrates for a second, the tattoos across his body glowing for a moment as he takes a piece of himself. "But... I'm used to being in pain. Bottoms up." With that, Arminius rather unceremoniously shoves his hand over Flowey's mouth, inserting the piece of essence.
  6. Arminius clears his throat, shooting Frisk a quick look as he steps in. "That's an interesting question, but somehow I doubt he would even if he could. Everyone is free, the possibilities are limitless. If Frisk wants, he can go and have a family, be a kid, grow up... Hell, if they really want they could come with us... well, after a few years I'd hope. But you're just deflecting aren't you?" Arminius gets down on one knee to better talk to the doll, his expression hardening. "You're trying to talk your way out of us helping you because you can't understand, and it scares you right? It's perfectly natural to be scared of things you can't understand. We're offering a chance to not be scared anymore, to be able to live without being haunted by a specter you can't hope to defeat. Even if it's scary, wouldn't being happy be worth it?"
  7. Arminius doesn't look so sure, but even still turns towards the door. With a deep breath he steps forward and opens it.
  8. Arminius nods. "Well, my plan is that I can give him some of myself... my compassion for now so he can at least understand why we're trying to help him. If it doesn't work... well, it'll be no great loss. We can regroup and try again later. But if it works... I imagine he'll be a lot more able to help use, don't you think?" Arminius looks at Frisk with a somewhat nervous smile, like he isn't sure it'll help at all for some reason.
  9. Arminius took the cider to be polite. Pausing at the garden he nodded to Frisk. "Makes sense.... I think I might have an idea that could help actually. So obviously, he can't understand why we'd want to help him since he lacks compassion right?"
  10. Arminius nods. "I'm heading that way anyways, if you want us to give them the good news ahead of you. Either way, good luck miss... Oh, I suppose we skipped introductions. I'm Arminius and this is Frisk. But yeah, good luck with your further ventures!" After getting their response, Arminius would head to the ruins, stopping at the shop to tell the spiders the good news if the lady wished it.
  11. Arminius chuckles quietly, a nostalgic expression crossing his face. "Some things don't change across universes huh? Well, let's get going ki-." Arminius starts to walk away as he speaks but suddenly stops before turning to face the woman again. "Oh yeah, we just got back from the Barrier. Or, former barrier that is. It's been broken."
  12. Arminius shakes his head with a smile. Honestly, the spider woman seemed down right normal for Arminius, which meant that this was enough of a reason to delay his initial goal in favor of a conversation. Just for a little while.... "Sorry Miss, already got some earlier... By the way, I don't think I've seen you before, is that right or was I just not paying enough attention last time we were through?"
  13. With things preparing to be ready for his gentle touch, Arminius begins heading back to the start again. On the way, he pauses in the purplely, spider weby area they saw on the way there, curious about who the occupant could be.
  14. Dani and Joan Joan looks dubious about the boat's ability to get them safely across the water, at least until Dani nudges her and holds out his hand. With a nod, Joan manifests herself into weapon form, spinning into the Meister's hand before he enters the boat. "Well, it's cozy at least right?" He chuckles slightly nervously despite himself. Rory Satisfied with his record taking, and confused by his back pain, the hunter reaches around to try and get a feel for what it is with his hands. Failing that, he uses his scroll to try and take a picture of the problem, hoping it was something that'd go away on it's own. He didn't have insurance after all.
  15. Arminius sighs before nodding and standing up. "Well, at least that's a straight line pretty much... Do me a favor kid, get people to find me some things to put the souls in temporarily at least? Uh, our friend had some armor, so that ought to work... heck, he might even be okay with living in it permanently, but uh... yeah, just need something person like ideally. And then I'll be back in a bit and we can get them mostly living again."
  16. Arminius looks down at Frisk before leaning to hear them better. "And where is that?"
  17. Arminius, seeing the doll once again pop up, shot a look towards the children as he started muscling through the crowd. Thankfully, this had been nipped in the bud before a problem could arise... He mentally sighed as he saw Ignia approaching the doll, before double timing it to get there before she could do something drastic. When he finally got to the edge, he shouted to the women and doll. "Hey! Don't you dare hurt him! I said I was going to fix him and I'm gonna be pissed if you two make that harder for me!"
  18. Arminius watched the king release the soul with his breath held... So close, and Asgore hadn't simply broken down the barrier? Why? He almost hadn't realized Toriel had approached Asgore and was hugging him. The scene made him feel... Conflicted. Truthfully, he held no love for the man, but the kids- oh shit, she just threw him! Arminius nearly ran forward to stop her as well, but decided the kids probably would have that solved easily enough. Finally, he walked forward, inspecting each of the canisters. Seven souls, that's what would be needed to break down the barrier, they just needed someone to guide their power.... He stood up and turned away. That was far too much power for him, besides, if things went out of control he'd be the best candidate to fix them. "You're right, and I'll be sure to collect recompense for these souls... But first, someone has to break down this barrier."
  19. Travis looks somewhere between eager and full of pity at Tsubasa's question. He takes a moment to collect his thoughts before starting slowly. "Well... about that.... Japan did side with the British in World War one but... They kind of had a recession after it, and then they got Fascist and kind of... started invading the pacific and China and murder-fucked everything after allying with the similarly fascist Germany and Italy... And eventually attacked America directly and got two atomic bombs dropped on them. It was... not great."
  20. Travis looks blankly at Tsubasa as they walked out for the inspection, mostly because he didn't expect her to have much interest in history... Unless.... "Oh.... You're from before then right? Well uh, basically in Europe everyone starts developing a bunch of cool new ways to kill each other with like planes and guns and grenades and gas, but no one wants to just attack anyone because they're all in a complicated web of alliances. Well, an archduke gets assassinated and the two countries involved start threatening war, because each of their allies says they'll back them which pulls in their allies until everyone is at war pretty much. And then it drags on for years until entire generations of people are wiped out and Germany is bankrupted among other things.... Japan got involved by the way and helped a little but got shafted. Anything I should touch on more specifically?"
  21. Travis looks confused for a moment before seeming to realize something and having a little chuckle to himself. "Ah, right. The machine I arrived in out there? That's called a tank. One of the greatest military marvels to be invented before the second world war... Right no frame of reference for that either. Basically, it's got a giant cannon on it and is supremely armored to protect against most forms of small arms fire... Actually, it might be better to let you have a look yourself. I'm sure you'll be at least somewhat impressed."
  22. Arminius sighs. "Ready or not, I don't think we have much choice do we?"
  23. Arminius nods. "Then all the more reason to get on the move, now. Everyone grab what they can take and... Rachel, do you need assistance moving? Head injuries are no joke and you uh... yeah." He gestures vaguely, not really wanting to make anyone's trauma more serious.
  24. Arminius was still staring in shock at Rachel, not quite able to fully comprehend what happened. So, he didn't. Standing up with a sigh and a shake of his head he goes over to the weapon pile, grabbing some smaller guns and storing them on himself before speaking. "It's not your fault Lucine, you were just trying your best. We need to get moving though, while this has been... shocking to say the least, Asgore could already be fully ascended by now and I don't think anyone knows what he'll do at this point, right?" Arminius turns towards Frisk and Chara, as they're the ones most likely to know the answer.
  25. Travis taps his chin for a moment before raising a hand. "You think a tank blast would hurt it?"
