Arminius whistles at the two dogs trying to tackle him before speaking. "Settle down, I have two hands! Be good or neither of you will be getting petted!" Arminius seems to be having a lot of fun with this. Arminius uses the super secret forbidden technique, Double Petting Stance. By splitting the dog's attentions to only one half of him, he can brace himself for attacks from both sides, while countering at minimal losses.

Arminius half turns to look at the child before turning back to the greater dog. "Hey, don't do that! That hurt! If you wanna play, c'mere pup." Using his knowledge of canine beings, Arminius gives greater dog a good petting!

Arminius avoids the urge to whip around when he yells at Ignia. "Idiot, we WANT them to take us in!" Arminius tries to avoid drawing attention to himself. Arminius stats.

Arminius shakes his head. "Not just yet, but you see we're kind of trying to get to the king. It's an important quest so to say, and I wondering if maybe we could speed this up somehow?"

Arminius, rather than worry much about the "trap" for the moment, instead makes himself busy by covering himself with snow, making sure to get a light dusting on everything despite the discomfort. Assuming no one finishes the puzzle in that time, he starts walking over the switches only to pause half way through to turn to the skeleton. "Hey, you're a royal guard right?"

Arminius sighs. "Shit, more dogs... We should cover our scents so they don't know where we're going."

Arminius shrugs before heading on. He was feeling kind of hungry though...

Arminius considers stealing the microwave for a minute. Then he decides that'd be both a waste of time and silly besides. Looking to the others he shrugs. "If you're hungry I think Sindragosa could try thawing it at least."

Arminius suddenly looks exhausted at the mention of horoscopes. "Gods, you don't know the half of how annoying that gets. You ever had someone tell you how you were feeling, and no matter what you said look smugly triumphant about it? Swear to the Lilim the only reason we kept her around was because she always had good intel when we needed it... Wait, that's not what you meant is it?"

Arminius shrugs. "I prefer crosswords because for an extra challenge you can find words that weren't included officially... But I usually do those things in the newspapers, I can't remember the name but you get what number it is and if it's down or across and then you have to solve the clue? That thingy."

Arminius looks to the child before nodding. "Probably more dog people if it's talking about smells while also getting the colors wrong... Welp, let's get going." With that he continues on to see what trial Sans has in store for them.

Arminius glares ahead for a moment before letting his shoulders slump. "Not much. Your brother has another... well, I hesitate to call it a trap... but you know what I mean. Anyway, he's up there with something for us to do, right?"

Arminius frowns. He goes silent for a few moments before nodding. "I see..." The way he says it one could take it as a simple response to that knowledge, or they could take it as a response to something unspoken. Arminius stretches, looking toward the skeleton that was waiting for them more than likely. "I'm going to go talk to our friend there. Take your time, maybe play a few more rounds. I'm sure I won't get too far ahead of you all." It didn't take a genius to tell Arminius' mood had darkened somewhat, but it probably wasn't anything to worry about right?

Arminius raises his eyebrows at that. "Huh, didn't expect you to volunteer first. But... well, I'll warn you, I probably can just take from you so this will likely be more involved than you'd hope. Well, unless you want to risk me tearing parts out of your soul that it's not prepared to regenerate... And then there's the matter of putting it all together. I uh... I'm not exactly sure I can just slap a bandage on it and call it good, to use more physical terminology... Maybe..." Arminius turns to Toriel. "Your people down here know how to merge souls right? Or at least the king does if he plans to merge his soul with a human one? Do you think someone down here can teach me to do that?"

Arminius leans on his club to start his explanation but the kid starts before him. Instead he just waits until the child and doll have spoken. He stares at the doll for a bit before speaking. "This is just my opinion, but that sounds like a pretty empty existence to me."

Arminius pauses his shot to sigh and respond to Rachel. "I have this under control now. I could do that with anyone or anything I reckon... But that does give me a good point to get into this. I think we could uh... help him. Make him whole." Arminius takes his shot, banking it off two walls before the ball comes to a stop right in front of him again.

Arminius turns and smirks at the doll for a few moments in what one would most likely take in a taunting way, before seeming to decide they aren't worth the energy and instead taking his go at the game. He spends more time than he probably should trying to do trick shots before he finally gets it in the hole.

Arminius watches from the sidelines for a bit before walking up. "Mind if I give it a try?"

Arminius waves at the group, eyeing the golf course as he approaches. "Well this is... interesting. Were you guys in the middle of a round or something?"

Arminius glares down at Dolly before looking back to the kid. "I hope you're sure about this... So should I keep him or do you want to take him?"

Arminius nods. He thinks on it for a few moments before starting to put just the lingering will into the doll. No point trying something dangerous without help around. "By the way, did you just get a sense of deja vu a second ago?"

Arminius nods. "Well, you've seemed to know what you're talking about so far... As for the things he's missing, what do you suggest we do about them? I have some firey essence, could act as a representation of love or compassion maybe?"

Arminius raises his eyebrows at the kid, kneeling to better maintain the privacy of the conversation. Finally he nods. "Yeah, though I'm kind of hesitant to try that again, last time I tried it... It was pretty."

Aquila yells with rage, charging at the plague marine. Upon making contact, he throws him arms around the armored trooper, lifting up with his legs to remove any chance they could stabilize, and then bringing his torso down to bowl them to the ground. Dueling Target on the Plague Marine, followed by trying to tackle the plague marine to the ground.
