Taking a few moments to look over himself Jack nods and steps out into the cold darkness of space. He looks around before frowning. Still no sign of his ship, and what's worse, this place looked like London. And that was terrible, nothing good ever came from London. "Whoever designed this place has a terrible sense of style. Let's hurry up so we can kick their ass and steal their booze, aye?"

Arminius nods. "At the very least we can get some reconnaissance going... I can get some reconnaissance going, and we can get a better idea of where we want to go since I doubt we can go back up the pit." With that he stands up and starts trying to find what exits there are to this area of the cave. -

Arminius nods, then after a moment shrugs. "I thought I was okay but I'm pretty sure I just caught a bit of... something... not meant for me. Hey Kid, you okay!?" Arminius quickly rushes check up on the child, now that they're moving. Moving is good after all. -
Aquila nods. "Alright then, let us depart. And try to hold on yeah?" With that said Aquila begins steering them towards those going to the mall.

Jack rolls his eyes at that, mostly to himself since he didn't bother looking up at the comment. When he does turn he seems rather annoyed. "I think you should be lecturing these three, given none of them can keep their fingers off the triggers until the job is done. It's like when I had a contract to work with guy who dealt in slaves. I didn't say nothin' to him if it weren't necessary the entire time we worked together and then once the job was done... Well I suppose you can guess what I did."

"There you are. You should have given me more warning before you just dove into a crowd like that. Now then, which way?" Aquila pulls Freya a bit closer so as to not have her get caught up in the crowd as easily. That's what those in the biz like to call "A bad thing".

Jack watched the ongoing fighting with a smile that wasn't actually a smile. He took a deep breath before walking over to the now unconscious woman and wafting his grog under her nose, hoping the smell would get her back in working order again. He doesn't see fit to acknowledge the ongoing showdown even as he walks straight through the middle of the people pointing weapons at each other.

trespassers [IC] ALTEREDNU

After carefully going through each of his extremities, and finding that they weren't in terrible pain just for existing, Arminius sat up. That could have gone better... But for now he had to check the kid. He quickly approached and checked over them, and after assuring himself that while Rachel was a paladin the kid seemed human enough to pass any inspection, he noticed a presence. This was familiar to him, a presence that one could often feel if they were around graveyards and areas with lots of death often enough.... But there wasn't an entity attached to it. This was strange enough to instantly draw Arminius towards the presence. -
Jack raises an eyebrow at the outburst. He looks thoughtful for a moment, seems to come to a realization, and then appears to trash that realization as his expression turns to one of confusion. "The thought of stealing a start hadn't even crossed my mind until you brought it up. And I'm going to be honest, I have no clue what I'd need one for. They seem a bit big, kind of hard to hide, and uh... or right, they aren't made out of gold. Far as I'm concerned there's no worthwhile reason to steal a star. Least none that'd make that idea outweigh just robbing another treasure ship."

Arminius let out a stream of language that shouldn't be used in polite company, let alone around children, as the two dropped. The reveal that Calvera caught one of them was good but... Not enough. "Sindragosa!" Arminius takes of running towards the hole, the dragon taking off behind him. He quickly takes a dive off the ledge into the hole, followed by the dragon who grabs him, diving along until forced to open her wings and slow their fall. -

Arminius stops walking forward at this point. Kid would probably get scared and panic if they kept advancing on him. And with that hole... It'd be best to avoid that kind of thing. "Hey kid, stop! You don't want to fall do you!?" -

Arminius for his part, decided to switch out Iris for Sindragosa while he had the chance. He liked Calvera, but someone who used lots and lots of fire in a forest wasn't a very safe option. -
Jack raises an eyebrow at the soldier's summary. "Wait, you're telling me you could be part of a sex cult and you haven't joined up yet? Gods, I can't imagine how well payed ye must be..." At Scarlet's suggestion Jack snorts. "Yeah, I'm sure I'll be leaving those days behind me... When I've retired, filthy rich with my own mansion in the Caribbean with all the whores and booze a man could ever want!" Jack laughs out loud to himself as he downs some more grog.
-
Jack shrugged at the other's response. He pauses to take a drink of his grog, before wiping his mouth on his sleeve and letting out a contented sigh. "Sounds like voodoo to me, but you're the expert I suppose... So what about the rest of yous? What're your homes like? Personally, I was a pirate, sailing the open seas, searching for treasure and booze, pillaging and stealing. You know, the usual kind of thing."

Arminius shakes his head as he hops out with Iris in tow. Looking around and listening for a few moments he shakes his head. "Don't bother, if you can't even hear the birds and such something is very wrong. Could be just us landing but more likely it's something bigger, like a large predator, and army... we should head inside now before whatever it is notices us is the point." Arminius starts to head for the cave after taking a quick look around. -
Jack shakes his head at the explanation. "Now now, that don't discount voodoo. Just because you die doesn't mean you die. Otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation right now, yeah? Sometimes you die and then you come back. And obviously that can't count as dying since you ain't dead. Now I obviously don't know all the details, but it sounds to me like you just know a lot of voodoo cursed guys like you. And that's fine and all but what happens when the voodoo man don't see no more use to yous? Nothing good! .... What was I talking about again?" Jack looks confused at the shift in topic he brought about at the end there.
-
Jack looks up from trying to get the echo thingy to work. After taking a few moments to get his bearings on the current conversation, the shirtless drunk decides to chime in. "Aye, that sounds a might bit odd, but let's not get all up in arms over nothin' just yet. Could be him and his crew are under the effects of some kind of voodoo cure, making them unable t' die until it's broken. Those voodoo types are real assholes with cursing people for no reason you know. I know a guy that was cursed while he was just a babe to only speak with the most shocking and disgusting of profanity. We don't talk to him much for obvious reasons." Jack finishes his story with a small shrug and a "What can you do?" smile.

Aquila, after having a moment to laugh to himself about Freya's predicament, pushes out into the crowd. He offers only quick shouted warnings to those in his way as he pushes through the crowd of nerds (not that he likely needs to do much of that given his size and current noise level) towards the small necromancer.

Aquila tugs on his various swords and flail, making sure they're safely secured on his body. You don't want your weapon falling off mid battle after all. Looking around he makes a sound of contentment. Nice to see that he wasn't the only person from his time around. After his check of the area he turns to the others. "I think I've located the "Necrocomiccon"."

Jack took his echo device, looking around a bit before finally shoving it into his belt. He had no idea what it was or how to work it, but he was used to winging it with these futurey bits and bobs. He paused for a moment with a look as though he was trying to remember something before finally snapping his fingers. "My ship! I don't have my... shit, what happened to my..." Jack looks annoyed before pulling out the echo device and smacking the side of it. "Oi, Boss Man Jack, what happened to my ship and crew? It's gonna be annoying to get around without them you know."

Breaching the door, Poncio would likely be pleased to see that there's not anything of notable danger around the room. Not even on the ceiling. It looks much the same as it did from the initial look, being extremely bloody, though now he'd notice some fleshy looking chunks, as well as the fact that there's a full hand in the corner, finger extended. Looking closer, the door that was across from the entrance can be seen to be labeled as a supply closest after some moving about to properly position the lights to shine on the blood covered paint. The other entrance doesn't seem incredibly interesting, but you can hear some faint growling coming from inside, almost like something is snoring.

The other Jack smiles at the new Jack introducing himself. He quickly takes the man's hand and gives it a firm shake. "Right you are, my fellow Jack! As a matter of fact, you can just call me Jack! No need to be formal about this kind of thing with other Jacks eh?" Pulling back from the handshake, Jack grabbed the bottle from his coat and offered it to his Jack counter part. "Ey, hows about a drink Jack? I got plenty 'a grog back on the ship so you can have as much as ya like!"
