  1. I agree with most of this list. My changes are:- Fighting: Emboar does serious work and Gallade is reliable too at least the one Victoria had Fairy: Granbull easy wins. It has bulk and when you train it in full attack and a split of defense and hp, you'll see this thing eating poison jabs for breakfast. Ground: Isn't Excadrill already available in the game? That has to be the best right now. I use Nidoking on my team but even Sheer force earth power isn't enough sometimes. Excadrill gets rock slide and earthquake as well.
  2. Everyone forgets about feild effects. Please consider that Hardy gets a feild which boosts certain rock type moves so Gyarados isn't that good. Honestly stall pokemon are pretty useless as they stall only 2 pokemon probably until either the trainer gets bored or you get set up and swept on. Tyranitar is way too op. Natural sandstorm for sp def boost with natural access to rock slide and earthquake is too good. If something doesn't outspeed it then it dies. All other pseudos are also too op but some have limits like how hydreigon is vastly underestimated by everyone so it chills in the uu tier or how Metagross can go down pretty easily to a special attack. So yeah, all of that needs to be considered as well.
  3. @FairFamily I will look at those links later. I was also too lazy to write down certain stuff because typing on the phone is tiring, but here are some finer points:- 1) You do not become Lucas. There will be a system in which whenever you go into an npc house, there will be some items on display. On interaction the message will say, for eg: A max revive sits on the table. That's it. You cannot take anything. Sometimes it might be possible for instance: A dusk ball sits on the table. Npc= Oh , you're interested in that? Sure you can have it, I don't need it! That's how you might obtain items. 2) I know you're going to point that this is just like Lucas so let me clarify right now, there will be other characters whom you can interact with who specifically say that, "the people in this town are nice, they give free items". This shows that everyone is being given stuff to. Theses npcs will also translate into side quests which might give rare pokemon or even mega stones. 3) There is no destruction in progress. I know that it is a huge problems in certain games. I specified that the level after the champion would be around 40-50. Hence the new gym leader would have a Pokemon starting from level 50. 4) Your character happily tears up his trainer card. This means that his badges are gone and not his pokemon. All new trainers who get their pokemon can avail a training facility available for even the player. This helps train up their pokemon to level 40-50 range so that new trainers would realize if they really wanted to battle with their Pokemon or not. This is obviously just a plot point so that nobody starts questioning about how new trainers beat the op gyms 5) Pokemon can only go upto level 100. Meaning that you would technically be getting too much exp IF you were to battle the evil team by yourself. Hence the idea that you would be seeing many grunts who manipulate people but run away or some other trainer steps in to battle on failing and only few grunts who actually stick around to battle the player. 6) When the evil team plot is revealed, the player doesn't just keep quiet about it but announces it in via television. Other trainers then find out all the secret bases of the evil team and fight them. You have to check every single base until you find the one with the main boss. 7) A scenario will ensue where the boss traps only you in a room thinking that you only have strength in numbers and individually you are useless. This should show the idea that when you entered the region, many were guilable but with time, people became more vigilant. Even so, you were the cause of opening their eyes even though nobody realizes it until you make a public announcement on the TV. I hope this clarifies most of your questions.
  4. I have an idea for a pokemon game so thought that I should share it. Heads up, this is going to be long! The setting of the game starts in platinum In this game you are a trainer who starts his journey in a small town. Every person can get a Pokemon when they reach the age of 15, not 10. But this game is something different.... You are not the main character. The main character is lucas from platinum. Your character is constantly overshadowed by lucas in every way. When you get your first pokemon, the professor just gives you a Pokemon and a full Pokedex and ignores you. He also gives you a worn out,run of the mill trainer card. Immediately after you leave, there's a cutscene showing Lucas getting his pokemon and how the professor gives him a Pokemon very carefully, an empty Pokedex so that he can get to know every Pokemon and free tms along with the best trainer card there is. The guy who teaches you how to catch pokemon completely ignores you and tells you stop bothering him but teaches lucas very generously. At the beginning of the forest, that girl with the chancey tells you that you look weak and doesn't want to accompany you but of course accompanies lucas as he's "strong". When the champion looks at the ruins she first runs into lucas telling him her name and giving him an egg. When you meet her, she says that you don't have a special aura and ignores you. When you beat some of the evil team grunts you go to pokemon centre happy about your accomplishment only to find out via TV that Lucas and the champion took out an entire base when you weren't even given access to that area in the game. When you try camping outside, you drop an item in your tent but think you'll just pick it up later, only to have Lucas simply barge into your tent, grab the item and run. On trying to stop him, he simply sends out a Giratina so you can't do anything. By now lucas has become super popular among everyone thanks to the media and the champion. Their fans are everywhere so much so that when you try and pick up a good tm(flamethrower) lucas comes in on his bike and tries to get it first. All trainers around the area gang up on you saying that you are a fake and are no respecting lucas by giving him the TM. But still throughout your journey weird things keep happening to you starting from the very same tm. After everyone leaves, the TM instantly appears on the ground for you to pick up. Nobody in any house gives you any items but you chance to find the same items on the ground even though, they might be very rare. When you pass through the jungle you find a girl. She has white hair. You think that she's just another lucas fan and talk to her rudely. But she just comes up to you and tells you to not lose hope. She gives you encouragement and tells you that she believes that you can get through the hard times and beat the champion. She then gives you the tms for ice beam, thunderbolt, brick break, rock slide and earthquake. She tells you to come back to this spot in the jungle after you beat the champion Eventually you go and challenge the champion. She scoffs at you and on beating her she just says that you are completely useless and doesn't let you go to the Hall of Fame. Lucas obviously gets to go and is regarded as the hero by everyone. Your pokemon are barely in the level 40-50 range at this point You return to the spot in the jungle and she's waiting there. Then she tells you the reason she's there. She's a messenger of Arceus. She takes you right to him. Arceus and the girl tell you that they had been watching you the entire time. They tell you that there are 3 kind of people in the world, one's who just have an aura to be chosen like lucas, one's who just follow the crowd like all his fans and the one's like you who are rare as they never get any attention but don't blindly follow anyone either. Arceus is the ruler of dimensions so he has created many worlds. In one of the worlds there are many peaceful trainers. But there are also many douchebags who love exploiting people for their own needs. Guilable people tend to get exploited. But you, the player have gone through so much pain and humiliation that you are just too wary of everyone you meet. Such an attitude is perfect to handle the people who exploit others (aka the evil team). The girl also explains that the people in that world had managed to acquire some power, a fallen piece out of Arceus's realm which block their world from being influenced by Arceus directly. The only thing Arceus could do is bring someone to that world as even his existence was difficulty there. So you are to stop theses people and restore peace in the area. You also find out that the legendary Pokemon in the world you started in were actually fake and not really the true pokemon. Because if they were the actual legendary pokemon, then nobody would ever be able to catch them at all, at least that's what Arceus thinks..... After this talk, you get teleported to the new world which looks similar to gearen city from rejuvenation. The real story starts now On reaching the new world you are introduced to some really nice people. They show you around the place and take you the trainer registration area. You happily tear up your card and obtain a new custom card. You are explained the gym systems and how the only reason you need gym badges would be to have your Pokemon listen to you and challenge the elite four. There aren't any HMs here. After that you are also given a glimpse of the evil team and how they try and manipulate someone. Luckily you stop those grunts. The story develops in one way or another and finally you find out that the evil team is trying to control Arceus himself so that they could become all powerful. And yeah....that's my idea for a game. It might be weird but I think it definitely shows how nicely treated the main character is in every single pokemon game ever and how nobody ever questions their motives or their simply breaking into everyone's houses and stealing stuff just because they are the chosen one. If you could read through all of that, then do tell me what do you think about this idea of a story, I would love to hear it!
  5. Did Solaris's team change from episode 15? I don't remember him having a Gyarados or a Tyranitar. Also I had the most fun with the Fern and Blake battle because all my pokemon actually got koed but Florina really pulled through. That Cradily is a monster!
  6. Might be kinda selfish but I can't play/download the game until mid November so take all the time you want!
  7. Link to the blog? Edit: Here's the link to whomever wants it:- http://www.rebornevo.com/index.php?/pr/development/records/we-will-be-arriving-at-our-destination-shortly-r23/&page=3&tab=comments#comment-322
  8. Yahari Ore No Seshun Love Com Wa Machigateru
  9. Why don't you get a Magikarp and evolve it into a Gyarados? Then you can replace Aoi with it. Anyone on this site will probably trade you a Magikarp
  10. @seki108 Ah okay, so that's what happens. Thanks for telling me.
  11. I'm just wondering what happens if you take a helix fossil to the Arceus worshipper on seventh street. On taking a dome fossil he shouts blasphemy or something and says:- Start9 Start9 Start9 Start9 Start9 Start9 So what happens when you take a helix fossil? If anyone knows then please tell.
  12. @CryogenGlaceon Like EndearingCharacterTrait said, you can get an ability capsule by going to seventh street and exchanging shards for one capsule. The guy is in the outside area and hard to miss. Also, yes solar beam is a good move for Ninetales. Go to Beryl library. Inside one of it's rooms you will find a shelf with some different book colours. You have to interact with the books in this specific order:- Green, Red, Purple, Yellow, Blue, White Then a room will open up inside which is solar beam. There's also an interesting book there that you could read. As for Walrein, yes it definitely has bulk and just might be better than Lapras.
  13. I didn't even know a speed run was possible in this game. How exactly do you beat gym leaders without battling everyone or getting to certain levels? Plus you'll have to solve puzzles as well but you might have experience in those. I only know that Granbull is pretty good early game which can be obtained as a snubull. It made it to my final team but that's just me I guess. Vivilon is also pretty good especially with quiver dance but I've heard someone have a tinted lens venomoth with quiver dance getting to plus 6 and sweeping easily.
  14. Not a bad team, but.... 1)Why does your Ninetales not have drought? You have sunny day as one of it's moves so I'm assuming that there's no drought. The main reason people use Ninetales is for drought so I suggest you get an ability capsule and soft reset till you get drought on it. 2) Is Medicham really that bulky of a pokemon to use recover? I highly doubt it. I think medicham can learn some elemental punches. You should try and teach those to him via shard tutors. 3) Magnezone is better than Ampharos obviously but it's definitely not that good to use electro ball. Heck that's actually really slow. If it has a good hidden power (go to aphophyll academy and search for a guy in one of the rooms who'll tell you about it) then replace electro ball for hidden power. Or just move tutor it thunder wave for paralysis. Much better. 4) Your team has no natural bulk so I would suggest a lapras over a kingdra but that choice is up to you. That's all. Happy Gaming!
  15. Wow how do people even get all these pokemon? Well I'm just commenting so that in the future if I ever get a notification, I'll know that this thread exists
  16. With three pokemon? LOL Seirra(the ice lady) I one shot all of her pokemon with magneton Adreann(Fairy leader) Again one shot all of his pokemon with Magnezone and Nidoking. Maybe had to use a third somewhere like Granbull. Noel(Supposedly normal type leader) Emboar and Nidoking finished the job easy
  17. @example I'm sorry but I couldn't help replying after seeing your comment. Let me tell you that the scenario that you have depicted does not fit the reborn atmosphere as you would call it. This is because you as a player don't know shit about the city itself. The only thing wrong with the city is pollution. That's it. Rest every single problem is never unanimously faced by all the people until the plant attack. Amy has made the game in such a way that the player is forced to go through the trashiest of places so that they could get a feel of the game in general. Statistically speaking, only 20% of the entire reborn population ever faced money problems and that was all because they went into drugs. There are many many apartment buildings which are completely inaccessible to the player. This is because people live there. Companies like the Beauty Salon and Obsidia Department Store actually exist because people work there. In no scenario except for a natural disaster is it possible for the paycheck of an employee to actually go down instead of up. This scenario you're making up will only fit if you know how shitty the people, ie the main cast is and not the side characters/npcs. If anything there would people going to jobs everyday then coming home, switching on the AC because the air is completely polluted and then watch some TV. The slums are just a place everyone avoids and nobody likes battling trainers. Probably on a Sunday they'll go out for a battle or two but nothing worthy of an occupation. My point here is that you claim that your scenario is the most realistic to reborn city which is actually very incorrect. Your scenario is realistic only to the slum area of the city. So yeah what everyone is saying is not incorrect. And there are people who want to be ocean cleaners or mechanics too who have the most realistic idea about how to live. Sorry just wanted to get it out
  18. @Paul25 Alright, hopefully it'll be open when I get my Internet back. And thanks!
  19. Thank you. I didn't know the location of the second electirizer(in your comment, the first) or beldum. Also in all honesty an all out offense team is very good instead of trying for some bulk PO other than natural bulk. Train Metagross in hp and you're good to go
  20. Either replace lumier or Pyromancer for Hydreigon. Also isn't Cal the guy who killed Kiki's medicham? How's nobody angry at him
  21. I don't want any Pokemon since I can't trade for like 2 months exams so net on pc till then but I wanted to know, will this thread be open forever? And do you only give shiny pokemon or you offer regular ones as well? I don't like some of the shiny sprites or just think that regular one looks better
  22. What in the world is this? Why is everyone commenting numbers and making the count go higher? .....38
