  1. Ah okay, I see now. So it's basically an option to get through battles easily but at the expense of your mortality. You can guilt trip yourself forever or just say that it is necessary. But then that raises the question that if it is just necessary then what's stopping the player from taking a gun and shooting the opponent? If you're going to give weapons to a person to assist in Pokemon battle because it is necessary or just helps more, then ending the threat is more easier than going through the pain of battling at all right? And if team meteor could bomb the train station and other stuff then they would simply start shooting the first chance they get. I would think that the player's pokemon are capable of deflecting a gun shot which is why nobody has tried using it yet, because it would just be a waste of time. And if that is the case then something like a Taser would do nothing at all to the opposition. The point is probably supposed to be that pokemon are stronger than humans or any weapons that they make but are also simple wild animals which humans tame into killing machines in the name of survival. Which is why nobody bothers with stuff like C4 because a protect from a wingull could probably nulify the explosion and also because an electrode exploding would cause more damage. That's my view though, so I hope you don't take it badly.
  2. I have favorite Pokemon in different types so it's not like a universal thing. But if I still had to choose, I would go with Mewtwo. Amazing psychic type which can create sea storms equal to a primordial sea and has lots of ability. A non legendary would be Hydreigon. I think Lin perfectly demonstrates why.
  3. Wait you're saying that there should be literally new items like instead of a light clay to boost reflect, just have something to cast it? Sorry I just understood it now. That being said, the battles would probably be too convenient if you can decide the timing and just too inconvenient if you can't. Here's an example which should clarify:- In my reborn playthrough, I absolutely love tearing through pokemon teams with raw power. Due to this I have accumulated the highest power pokemon I could think of. But obviously the more powerful pokemon do not get enough speed but more times than not, their defense makes up for it, eg Granbull's amazing defense which allows it to tank a stab iron head or emboar's decent sp def. The one trainer that gave me the most trouble was Taka. His Chatot was near perfect, outspeeding my main damage dishers like emboar or magnezone and instantly confusing them, then buffing itself up with nasty plot. The Pokemon which could outspeed like my Greninja couldn't do enough damage to ko and Taka simply healed while my Greninja went down in confusion. Do you see how broken this can be now? Imagine I have a Nidoking at more than half hp but it's holding a Taser. Now as it's last act for the team I have it use it at that time when it attacks. Nidoking almost dies but gets off a Taser and I use a less damaging move so that Taka wouldn't heal. Now that the Chatot is paralyzed, any member of my team outspeeds it! I could literally switch out into my Emboar use a stab, reckless flare blitz and turn it into fried bird while it struggles with paralysis! The one thing that could potentially ruin my team simply nulified. How is that not broken?! And what if you can't use it at will you ask? What if it's only first turn when the Pokemon is out or something? Then what the hell is the point!? Why would I give a Taser to my Emboar so that the next move is a guarantee outspeed rather than simply give it a choice band so there won't even be a next move? And who is to say that I won't save a Pokemon at full hp and never send it out unless Taka's Chatot comes onto the field? Again way too easy to nulify threats instantly. If the game had to be made easier then Amy would have simply provided us items at the second gym like leftovers and life orb. Not make them super hard quests to get to. I think it would still ruin the balance of the game. Think about these points. It's either just too broken or simply just too useless.
  4. So these battle items can be used in and outside battles? How would a light screen even work outside battle? And instead of say letting my Greninja hold a Taser to paralyze an opponent(human), I would rather simply ask it to cut my opponent or extrasensory them to pieces. That would be more practical outside battle. In battle though these are pretty good moves and would definitely compensate for the lack of good items in the game. In battle good but outside battle useless
  5. Lol someone has been playing Pokemon Insurgence I see. Literal copy paste
  6. That was literally the best comment I have read in my entire time here! The way you explained it was phenomenal. You really have an extremely creative mind which you used to make the most entertaining comment ever. Thank you for explaining it like that, it clarifies everything. I guess I'll be using potions in moderation then like you suggested. Seriously thanks
  7. Lol okay I guess. I'll try not to use much though, try to keep a minimum difficulty without having to go into hard mode or something
  8. I've finished episode 16 a long time ago, I got new members, bred myself an almost perfect Goodra and trained all my pokemon in Agate Circus. I have...999999 poke. Yeah even the trainers are not giving me any money. So I bought 50 full restores,50 revives,50 hyper potions,50 full heals and a lot of various poke balls. Now I'm wondering if I should actually use these healing items in pokemon battles or should I do as probably everyone has been playing the game up till now, ie not use any items inside battles. It kinda respects the difficulty of the game but you could also argue that this is just a Pokemon game and if you want super competitive then play on showdown. So should I use items in battles or not? Need to soothe a conscience
  9. Thanks guys for the suggestions. I might use a mod in the future but I was just suggesting good music. But this mod really helps since I can replace some depressing themes at least so I feel better
  10. I found a really really dope piece of music and thought that it could be used in this game as a pulse theme or something. I think suggestions are allowed right? Here's the music:-
  11. I've only done one run then trained a bunch of pokemon after episode 16. This is my team for the entire region up till episode 16(none nicknamed):- Emboar Greninja Noivern Magnezone Nidoking Granbull All these guys have helped immensely throughout the game so all of them are MVP pokemon for me. They have bad ivs but are recently ev trained and I plan on using them throughout the game. They all have positive natures. My favorite fight was against luna and I had Greninja alive whom I had to sack to revive Granbull to take out Umbreon. I had no backup pokemon for the entire time of episode 16. Now after episode 16 my backup is Charizard, Delfox, Rosarade, Donphan and a really really good Goodra. That's all
  12. Your welcome. Good luck completing the game
  13. Many people had difficulty with Charlotte including me so I'm not surprised. But wow 6-0 Luna! I guess I underestimated volcarona a lot. Also you should evolve your magneton into magnezone. It is complete tank with massive sp attack
  14. Strategic battles are the best ones! Trick room speed boost though, that must have been rough. I completely forgot about the fairy tale field damn! That is going to be tough then
  15. Waiting for pokemon reborn is frustrating. It's such an amazing game with so many things to do but I don't feel like re starting from scratch every time I complete a new episode. So I resort to what any human would do... fantasize. My team incase you want to know is :- Emboar, Greninja, Noivern, Magnezone, Nidoking and Granbull. And yes they are ev trained but not iv bred and of course I've tried equiping them with best competive movesets. The best battle I've had in this entire game was against Luna. It was literal war and I'm surprised that the ceiling only crashed once. I had to use a revive and my last pokemon standing was Granbull at 25% hp. The most toughest battle I've had was.... I can't really say. Many battles took 3 or 4 tries but none that were unable to be beaten without proper strategy. Still I would say, the toughest one was against Taka. That Chatot was a nightmare! (Not counting op stuff like first time garchomp or Arceus though. Those were by passable) The most easiest battle I've had was against the ice type leader and against Adrienn. I had hoped that Titania would have a mega metagross but with what many people have told me she's gonna have a mega.... scizor.. Yeah. That can't even put a dent in my Emboar so unless there is crazy field effects I don't see a challenge. So now I'm thinking about the elite four. All I can hope is that the elite four have teams based on each region. So maybe 6 pseudo legendary from hohen or most powerful pokemon from sinnoh, something like that. If they start having legendary pokemon then that would be a real challenge and a slight problem. For the champion I'm hoping that the main pokemon would be the mountain anhilating, incarnation of Satan on Steroids, the one and only..... Pulse Hydreigon! So yeah you should know who the champion I think is going to be ... Literally Ghetsis wife, Lin. That's all for this long blog. For the record I have constantly used these 6 pokemon throughout the entire game and the only 7th member that I had was an adamant pansear which fire blasted fern's rosarade more times than I can imagine. I'm bored so if you're free (you're definitely free if you read this whole thing) comment your best and worst battles with your team! I'm interested
  16. A protean greninja is way more reliable than you would think
  17. What is the online league? Plus such a strong trainer like Titania has to have a super strong mega like metagross but it doesn't go with her color scheme of Red I guess
  18. So today while showering I suddenly started missing pokemon reborn. The heat of battles can never be given by another game. Of course I've completely beaten this game upto the latest patch. So I was just thinking how awesome would it be to fight a super tough battle with my ev trained pokemon. So this is how I think Titania should be (This opinion is also based of the fact that Titania had a pretty important role in the story line so should be tougher) IF YOU THOUGHT AYA WAS TOUGH THEN WAIT TILL YOU READ FOR THIS This should be a doubles 6 on 6 pokemon battle. Her team with order :- First 2 pokemon are Skarmory and Fortress. Skarmory has full hp evs and defensive nature. Moves :- Stealth rock Spikes Roost Steel Wing Fortress has defensive evs. Moves :- Stealth Rock Toxic Spikes Rapid Spin Gyro Ball [This is the deadly double field set up open. It guarantees that your team takes damage] Next up no time wasted straight up Aegislash. This is the ubers sword dance shadow sneak combo. [You either waste turns trying to remove the hazards or prevent this from trying to set up with will o wisp. Of course there will be full restores] 4rth pokemon is a scizor. This is technician, bullet punch set up scizor. Pretty much same logic as Aegislash. [At this point you might have fainted both stallers but it's highly unlikely] 5th pokemon is going to be a....... MEGA metagross. Yep deadliest pokemon in her arsenal. This one has to be shiny and it should have attack and speed evs. [When you are just recovering from the onslaught of the two sword dancers look who shows up! You thought you had this game with a simple will o wisp? Lol they're dead already] A n d last and finally we have a magnezone! (Wasn't pulse enough!) It obviously adds a special attack variant to Titania's team. This one will have thunderbolt, flash cannon, hp ice and thunder wave. [This pokemon will most probably be on the field with metagross at the same time. What? Think you can get away with an earthquake? You have no clue how much paralysis a thunder wave can cause. Plus sturdy with air balloon will guarantee a few thunder waves] AND THAT'S IT FOR HER TEAM! Additionally there could have been a metal burst bastiodon instead of scizor if she feels like trolling hard. Those who have played in diamond /pearl and platinum should know. COMMENT YOUR OPINIONS PLEASE. Is this too tough or is there a way to get around it? EDIT : I completely forgot that she was shown to have an Excadrill. So I guess a fortress would also be kinda pointless though I put it in for 100% set up chance. Well I guess it's Excadrill instead of fortress. I'm betting Excadrill is choice scarfed ou mold breaker. And this one is allowed to switch . Amaria's gift could be a thing but honestly Empleon would be too easy to handle. Maybe she could use it if she battles alongside us?
  19. Oh yeah, maybe the battle was kinda easy because I used hurricane with noivern and blew away the mist off the field. Didn't even know that was possible
  20. I mean all Amy needs to do is make trainers and especially gym leaders have ev trained/iv bred Pokemon. That's all the challenge that's needed
  21. Mostly calm and calculative in battles. Love battles where there is no stall, only dishing out pure damage

    1. Wolfox

      Wolfox

      those are the best ones

  22. My 6 pokemon are ev trained so if Titania can still give me a tough pokemon battle then I would really appreciate it Lol I never work out
