  1. @Azeria Well, Mega Scizor and Volcarona I guess are very strong. But in no way it has more OP mons than Dragon has. And people killed Fairy types cause it is the only thing that made Dragons balanced. It's funny in my eyes that the very same people whine about Meta balance and want to even delete Fairy types! @Wolfox @seki108 Focus guys! We have to kill Dragon and avenge Fairies!
  2. @SilverHelio Maybe because it isn't choke full of forced-to-be-OP mons, like Dragon... LOL, by the way, I like how you promote the Xmas spirit by being resentful and practically seeking revenge for my vote
  3. I don't know how many Christmas presents you've already received, but I'm gonna give you a digital one!

  5. So, Fairies are down, but Dragons are alive? Preposterous... Madness I say! Hurt Dragon, heal Bug. Water: 17 Grass : 25 Dragon : 12 Electric : 17 Steel : 11 Fire : 18 Ground : 21 Ice : 22 Fight : 22 Normal : 18 Ghost : 18 Dark : 19 Bug : 23 Flying : 18 Rock : 19 Poison : 19 Psychic : 18 @Awesome_One Please, fix your votes... See the one above you (@HUEnd's) and correct the neutral values... (the ones you didn't change re all wrong). (Damn, I'm sorry for the wrong tag @LykosHand... Still a tad sleepy!) PS. Mine is double-checked, so no errors have been passed on.
  6. So, @Alex you don't even try to hide the fact that this is added only for Flare Boost Drifblim...
  7. I agree in part. Meta has no connection to Reborn, especially when it comes to Ubers. Also, with an Exeggutor to help, Aya becomes much less of a threat. Also, Aya is much less scary if you abuse her field. e.g. using Spikes. Which means Roserade and Cacturne can put in massive work there. I'd definitely start with Turtwig though. That Ground coverage is too good to let it pass in a Grass mono. And, as I said, Sceptile might be good late (it's horrid early), but it still has a REALLY shallow movepool with not impressive coverage, especially if you run a special set. Only moves that can help are X-Scissor and Dual Chop, none of which helps vs the Grass weaknesses. But again, he is in for a challenge @St0mpa All monoruns need grinding. It's a thing you must be ok with when you start one. By the way, Jumpluff falls off when it comes to damage late game. Plus, Acrobatics doesn't hit Flying types super-effectively. So, consider all the move breeding you need to do before getting into Agate Circus.
  8. No worries I still believe Ciel will be a much bigger threat than Charlotte is. Especially cause Grass has none Electric coverage and only Cradily for Rock coverage. And Cradily is Rock, in a field that amplifies Fighting type moves too.
  9. I've already mentioned both these two .
  10. True. Anyways, good luck! Also, I just saw that your Dark mono won't get finished. May I ask why is that?
  11. @St0mpa I've done Vivillon Powder+Paras Wide Guard+Crustle Shell Smash/Rock Slide in my Bug mono. I doubt Curse will help you since she has only Special Attackers (minus Darmanitan). Also, You'll see it for yourself, Baton Pass is REALLY tricky to pull off in Double battles. Prankster Whimsicott has also Tailwind. You can do stuff with this as well, since Trick Room will need A LOT of luck to set up with Grass types vs Fire types, since it always goes last in the turn it is used (-6 priority).
  12. You can get quite a few Poison/Grass mons early on, so you might find it easier vs Corey and Aya than you think. Weepinbell and Gloom in particular, together with that amazing Jumpluff save lives. For Charlotte, you can do some shenanigans with Prankster Whimsicott and Stun Spore and/or Jumpluff with Sleep Powder. Of course, Rain Dance/Swift Swim Ludicolo and Cradily are a must for this battle, because Grass doesn't have a lot of type coverage (apart from Poison and maybe Ghost).
  13. So, you guys really hate @St0mpa for suggesting Treecko... Good luck with early game, as it is probably the weakest starter that exists till it learns Leaf Blade at lvl.23...
  14. My caught-in-wild shiny Skuntank learned Foul Play (a breed-only move) by Move Relearner in Reborn. I will consider this a Christmas present.

Considering the fact that it's my bulky Skuntank set, it IS better than Night Slash! :D

    3. Wolfox

      Wolfox

      true.

By the way, a little not so fun fact about Foul Play: if the user is burned the damages is halved, yet it works from the attack of the target. does it make sense or?

    4. Jess

      Jess

No, zero sense. If the target was burned, it would. But since the user's Attack doesn't matter, why would it matter if the user is burned?

  15. I never ever replace my starter. It's one of my golden rules when I play Pokemon. Unless it's a mono where you can't get a starter of that very type (e.g Bug)
  16. Imagine TwitchPlaysPokemon playing through Pokemon Reborn. And trying the Crustle Puzzle. Or Heracross/Pinsir puzzle. :D

Radomus' chess puzzle would be even better! xD

Or even doing battles. If you watched it you would have seen that alot of battles were cheesed in some way or another. Mostly through being overleveled which can't be done in reborn.

Imagine getting 3 HM/TMX users for Amaria's gym (if by some miracle they ever got that far), assuming the creator didn't use the TMX mod that's bundled with the Weather mod.

  17. @seki108 No problem Get Fairy to 22, Wolfox voted it up just before you xD Edit: Ninja'ed, you just did.
  18. Hmmmm... Hurt Dragon, heal Bug. Water : 21 Grass : 22 Dragon : 16 Electric : 20 Steel : 16 Fire : 20 Ground : 21 Ice : 20 Fighting : 20 Normal : 20 Ghost : 20 Dark : 20 Bug : 21 Flying : 20 Fairy : 20 Rock : 18 Poison : 20 Psychic : 20 @Wolfox @seki108 You might enjoy this too!
  19. ANY poison type is ideal choice to defeat Florinia, she's a bloody Grass type trainer Early game Crobat will just break the game....
  20. Well, whatever suits you best! It was you who asked "water or bug"though... :-P
  21. Having completed my Bug monorun as of E17, all I have to say is that, if you need any advice, I'm here to help!
  22. First of all, welcome! Well, your team seems very well-rounded, in my eyes at least. Florges would be a nice addition, since you lack a specially defensive wall. An Ice type would come in handy too, even though I consider Mamoswine or Swift Swim Beartic with Icicle Crash, Aqua Jet, Superpower and Play Rough to be superior choices to Vanilluxe. For Luna's battle, I think you'll be ok, as long as you get a Fell Stinger last hit with Drapion. Malamar will probably get OHKO'ed by that anyways, giving you the chance to sweep afterwards. Also, Pangoro can literally Vital Throw everything out of the window. Perfect IVs aren't necessary for any stage/fight of the game. In none of my runs I had perfect IV mons, apart from 1-2 exceptions. However, I did EV train my mons as soon as I got access to Power items. Which is, after solving the dreadful Heracross Pinsir Tauros Bouffalant puzzle in South Aventurine Woods (kill me now). IVs make only a tiny difference in-game, but EVs matter much more. Neither is considered necessary, but they can make your life easier. Especially the EVs. For my advice on Psychic/Fairy types... I'd say Ribombee is a good choice for Fairy. Fast, good Sp. Attack, has great utility as well. Delphox is a very good Psychic mon. As for the Wild Charge TM... I have no clue... PS: Don't worry about the format! We aren't Smogon here! xD Anything that is easy to read and comprehend is perfectly fine! Enjoy your stay in the forums!
  23. Nuzlocke=get depressed after losing a team member with which you had created a strong bond. So, I'm the wrong person to answer, because Nuzlockes are a no-no to me, even though I enjoy watching them on Youtube! Especially the reactions in deaths are priceless. I guess I'm too evil to enjoy someone else's pain. But, quite frankly, Reborn is Nuzlockable only after many runs. Gotta know and be prepared for every thing. And probably train special teams/mons for each leader. I hate nuzlockes because experimenting isn't allowed. Experimenting in Reborn means losing a lot.
