    Well, i'm gonna choose Aggron. Heck, my both favorite rock and steel type mon is Aggron . for the Rival, how about Blaziken? that starter will definitely crush Aggron like a paper. But wait, those mons except Gengar, they are introduced in 3rd gen. How are you gonna bring them into FireRed?

    @sosobean Nope, that's impossible for both official and fanmade pokemon games. However, if it got both 252 EV on Atk and Sp. Atk + field effect, we're doomed for sure XD.

    I have only two advices for you : 1. Explore thoroughly and search for hidden items ( trust me, it's worthed ) 2. Catch and train your mons as many as possible ( in this game, you can't win the game with only 6 mons unless your team is a true solid one )

    That's the point. Kids aren't the type of checking stuffs they find thoroughly, so usually dark stuffs at dex entries are enough. But now tho.....

    Welp.... that's dark for sure. I guess GF or Nintendo is trying too hard to make dark stories. It's good, but idk, for me it kinda makes Pokemons slowly becoming not-a-game-for-kids anymore.

    Hmm... good point. Yeah, i did that too in the past, but now that i know the pain of a breeder, i'm only ask for mons occasionally. And even some new players asked for pseudos, especially dragon pseudos which is makes me sad . I mean c'mon, you can choose torchic, the most broken starter ever that will make your gameplay smooth as butter. And it won't take long before you'll start to get access to other broken mons as well . But on the other hand, i agree with @GS BALL. If you're doing a monotype run, as long as you won't do anything that's "cheating", it'll be fun for you, as you'll need your brains to fight some of the gym leaders that have your team weakness' mons.

    @DongDenny the chances are randomized + tied to your starter, so maybe your luck is at lvl 100.

    Welp, i thought any mon that feels OP but still fair in the game is added into Mystery Egg. But thanks for the clarification @NickCrash

    @GS BALL i guess so, judging from the photos. But i think more mons will be included into Mystery egg. So expect like...... 1/24 or even 1/30 chances to get a mon you like?
