  1. I don't know when this will get to you, man, but after playing this version from the beginning, I'm floored. I had the pleasure of following your game since 2016, in the late days of version 7,  I think, and at every episodic release since then I always start a new game, and never was I unsurprised about seeing the sheer improvement you'd bring to the game. This version took that to a new level, and the change in quality to early content, both visually and in terms of dialogue is quite staggering. Overall, early game feels somewhat more mature while still retaining that fresh, start of adventure feel. The dialogue now really conveys the bonds of our self insert with the characters that accompany us in our endeavours; From mom, to the first crew of friends we make (Ren, Venam & Melia), when the time of parting came I genuinely felt the loss of these characters. Frankly, there is so much to be said about the interactions with the cast and how immersion is significantly improved by those simple dialogue choices presented to us, but for the sake of not writing a biblical passage, I'll just say you've made an excellent job man. As for new content, this has definitely been the best episode so far, the interactions, pacing and reveals during the story all of it was top notch.

Overall, this has indeed been two years of work, and I feel at least, a work of love. I'm eargerly looking forward to whatever it is you'll bring us next. I hope you stay healthy, inspired and passionate about your game man.

  3. How long has it been, since the merciless Memey Overlord has last shared with us her wondrous work?
It must be close to two years now, I think, for it was in August of the 2018th year that she last sated our eager hearts. That she shared with me and her other acolytes her grand vision... It was in August...  August,  the month of anguish, and catastrophe and disaster...

Oh what a delightful, yet utterly dark piece of foreshadowing laid out by fate, a lesser man would think, that the month when she last shared us with the glorious fruits of her labour would foretell the agony, and hardships of our wait. But I know better... I know it was calculated... Carefully orchestrated... A most twisted, sadistic joke crafted solely by herself, for her own satisfaction, for undoubtedly, the Memey Overlord is a giving and kind mother but also, a most capricious and ruthless queen.

The last piece of her firstborn art, was marvelous. Unparalelled. However, with it's greatness came a steep price. It costed us Cain's lecherous, yet much needed sense of humour. It made us pay with Anna's tears. It robbed us from the sweetest, most enchanting Luna, with her fantasies and precious ways.

Wait I must. For wait is all I have, and in wait, I shall hope.

Hope that in the climax of her opera, a measure of happiness and peace can be found by those living in her personal universe.
Hope, that in these dark, trying times, the Memey Overlord will keep herself safe and healthy.
Hope that once she had her fair share of chanting songs of fractured starlights, much like a fairy sings in a tapestry of wild flowers, she will turn her eyes to us with a mother's mercy, and ease the painful longing within our hearts. Longing, for a conclusion to this grand tale of enduring adversity, and growing from it. A tale of loss and redemption. The tale of a land Reborn.

Well be with thee, Memey Overlord.

  4. Crests... I know this will probably tick some people off, but I'd really like it if Noivern received some love. The reason for that, is that it's incredibly hard to raise Noibat. Noibat is weak. It's learn set is poor. It evolves at level 48 and even then, you need a few heart scales in order to make Noivern shine. For ordinary pokémon games that's fine, since Noivern is the fastest non-legendary dragon type in the game, with a decent damage output. Rejuvenation, however, is obviously not an ordinary pokémon game. Even in casual mode, it takes an extra step in difficulty even when compared to Reborn, so all that work spent into babysitting Noibat, hunting for scales to give Noivern good moves,, and possibly breeding and EV training, can go into the gutter pretty fast with most late game opponents running perfect sets and busted seeds usually in tandem with field effects that are tipped heavily in their favor. Since crests are held items, therefore making Noivern unable to run Life orb or Specs, a pre-nerf Soul Dew-esque secondary effect, that aplies to special attack only coupled with a decent+18 SPATTK/ +12 SPEED buff, would be awesome on it's crest, putting some serious wall breaking power and speed behind it's stabs and coverage but also ensuring that it won't just OHKO everything, especially stuff that's supposed to counter it. (Gardevoir, Snorlax, Clefable, Toxapex, to name a few).
  5. The average development time for Jan's pregnancy for the few last episodes was of nine to ten months but as you stated, life happens. However since V11 was a huge info dump, I get this strange feeling that V12 will be somewhat shorter than V11, so maybe it could be out a little earlier if we're lucky.
  6. I might get some hate on this but, I'd like Game Freak to take the 24 attack points from Mega Charizard Y and shove it on it's speed stat. Seriously, it looks faster than standard Zard and also weaker on the physical side. Plus, it would put it on a more interesting speed tier, without making it busted. Other than that, a boost in Focus Blast's accuracy and an overall stall nerf is all I could ask.
  7. Episode 18 be like: I'm like: I'm so happy! Thanks for the hard work awesome people!!!!
  8. FINALLY!!!! MY PRECIOUS!!! MY CRIMSON CRABMANTIS OF SMASH IS COMING!!!!!! OMFG I'M HAVING A HEART ATTACK!!!!
  9. I'm so hoping Duskroc will be a thing this ep. Even though the beast, Tyranitar, will be available.
  10. Even though they are obtained very late, Honedge's and Riolu's natural learnsets are amazing. Honorable mention to Volcarona, because even though it doesn't learn any good grass type moves by leveling, Fiery Dance+Bug Buzz+ Quiver Dance+Whirlwind can pull off some solid stuff if you know your game.
  11. From the top of my mind I remember some nerfs done to moves like: -Dragon Pulse's base power dropped from 90 to 85 in gen VI (pretty f*cking dumb imo); -Blizzard, Fire Blast, Hurricane, Hydro Pump and Thunder had their base power dropped from 120 to 110 in gen VI (again pretty f*cking dumb, since some pokémon needed those extra ten points in power to justify themselves in a team and considering the accuracy of those moves they should make a bang once they hit); - In gen VI, Overheat, Draco Meteor and Leaf Storm had their base power dropped from 140 to 130; - In gen VII Sucker Punch's power was dropped from 80 to 70 and it's priority was decreased from +2 to +1, making it my most hated nerf ever, seriously (farewell to my annoying as f*ck OP Sucker Punch CurseBreon). As for nerfed abilities, weather inducing ones had their duration reduced in gen VI. However, the only nerf I loathe and find really worth noting is Gale Wings in gen VII. Gamefreak: "We have stuff like Speed Boost, Moxie on two deadly Dragon Dancers, Unaware on bulky shit with access to Recover, a bulky as hell Regenerator + Recover user (Toxacrap). Are we going to do something about those? FK NO. Let's nerf the base 81 attk, frail as hell falcon, because spamming a 120BP, recoil stab is too broken in a game overflowing with bulky shit... oh, and let's also add a priority rock type move just in case." Sure, Swords Dance upped Talonflame's game, but Taunt and Haze are still very much popular, so what was the point of this nerf rly?
  12. I sort of disagree that the Zakrom path denotes that she may somehow be saved. In that path she didn't suffer any sort of shock that may lead to character development, and she remains just as dependant on Titania as she ever was. Titania herself, is unable to come in terms with the fact that Amaria's misery can't be reversed by a fake relationship so her, Titania's , life won't be going anywhere either. Flotsam, is a term that can refer to the wreckage of a ship or it's cargo. In Amaria's and Titania's case I guess it refers to a ship, not in any lame "shipping" terminology, but as an actual wrecked vessel, with said vessel being Amaria's life. Some wrecked ships, or it's remains, may still float but will never set sail again, just as Amaria can put on a facade of happiness and romantic fulfillment, without ever really getting to experience those things. In Zekrom's path, she is a real wreckage, there's no salvaging to be done. Jetsam, is a term used to refer to the charges carried by a given vessel that are thrown out to the sea in order to avoid the capsizing and/or sinking of the ship. In Reshiram's path the ship is Titania's life, who in order to prevent her life from sinking, releases herself from Amy, thus casting her off. That is Amaria's role here. She's refuse. A discarded item. However, jetsam doesn't always go under and spoil in the depths. Fortunes in gold and invaluable antiques that appear in stories, either resting at the sea bed or washing on some distant shore, might very well be the product of jettisoning. Amy was cast off, because at that time she was burdensome, not because she was worthless. So there is a chance that she can reemerge redeemed and as the character we knew at the early parts of our journey, but this time her good will could be genuine and spontaneous, instead of being the byproduct of a lie. That's all just conjecture though. Only Ame knows what will be done of her.
  13. I don't mean to step on anyone's toes but I'm with Wolfox in regards to stall as a "playing style". It's a bane to the most important tennets of competitive gaming experiences: enjoyement and sportsmanship. Stall at it's essence, is fun at the cost of someone else's fun, so I find it incredibly unsportsmanlike, and the smug attitude of most stall players I crossed paths with is absolutely repulsive. It makes me cringe how they always talked about their "strategy", oblivious to the fact that in pokémon, stall strategies are the easiest to pull off and stall pokémon are so straightforward in use that they seem to have been designed for idiots, really. Still, I do love some pokémon like Milotic, Skarmory, to name a few, that sadly have the ability to be quite stally but, Toxapex and Chansey, being the most consummate and over used stall mons, sit as my number 2 and 3 most hated pokémon. Plus, Toxapex is an asshole to poor Corsola . Number one however, is Incineroar, because it's supposed to be based on a tiger. A TIGER. Something that slow, weak and hideous, is an insult to the ever glorious, and sadly, ever waning predatory majesty that lurks in the frozen forests of Siberia and lush jungles of Asia. Seriously, a creature that is slower than freaking Blastoise - a turtle, and weaker than a pig and a rooster should never be likened to this:
  14. Unlike your Lapras set, which is a bulky special attacker, Milotic is a dedicated wall/tank with access to Recover, and as you pointed out, has better defensive typing (pure water beats water/ice IMO). If you manage to find a flame orb, Marvel Scale can turn Milotic into a splendid wall IMO. Keep in mind, however, that you will only get an optimal Milotic set somewhat later in the game, depending on where you are. Dream Eater is very unreliable, due to the duration of the sleep condition, which could result in Gardevoir switching out a lot, and will add more pressure on Venusaur, but it could work in game to an extent, if you pull your predictions off. You'd still be better off with Psychic or maybe Psyshock, although I don't recall if the TM for the latter is available yet.
  15. Ok. I see that you have a ton of special attacking power on your team so maybe you might want to take some out. Zorua and Lapras, would be prime candidates for that. I'd replace those guys with two things that might have better sinergy with Venusaur's Sleep Powder and your Dragonite's role as a Phazer/Revenge Killer: Milotic, for toxic/recover stall as well as a better overall usage of it's bulk when compared to lapras, hydro pump/protect complete the set, hydro pump, compounds toxic damage together with protect, which can be a great help for Dragonite and the remaining attacking cores of your team. You can use Scald over Hydro Pump as well, which is weaker than Hydro Pump, but more accurate and those burns can do some good to your team; The replacement for Zorua would be Lycanroc, as a fast, reliable stealth rocker that still packs some decent power, and goes well with Venusaur's Sleep Powder: Lycanroc leads with Stealth Rocks, Venusaur spreads sleep, Dragonite phazes and possibly kills depending on your dragon dances. An honorable mention for your team would be Skarmory which is a better, more reliable phazer than Dragonite, and can also set up Spikes, which would let your orange Barney make better use of it's power as a dedicated physical sweeper, which is where it really shines IMO, in which case dd+3 attacks is what you'll be looking for or maybe dd+2attacks ( Fly and Outrage)+roost for more staying power and more chances for setting up Dragon Dance.
  16. I'm so unsure how to react to this... first Jan pulling off a Sanic, then the episodic expectation of improved visuals and new content and finally the realization that it will be a few months until I get to quell my curiosity. Only this can accurately represent my feelings rn:
  17. Knock off is still a thing though, and unlike Chansey, Skarmory is vulnerable to two very solid attacking types, one of which (Fire) having users that could make the increased special defense granted by the eviolite a non-factor. I think Skarmory could sort of benefit from an evolution, because it's tanking/walling potential has constantly diminished from Gen 5 onwards, so the ability to run eviolite could make it somewhat worthier of consideration for teams that need more staying power, while it's evolution, could fulfill the promise of offensive presence that Skarmory's design suggests (IMO Skarmory looks like it can shred stuff apart instead of surviving hits) but can never be delivered by Skarmory. Tl;DR: An evolution for Skarmory would strengthen the position of one of my precious steel babies whilst giving me a new steel baby to cherish.
  18. @DreamblitzX, I personally think the Rowlet line fits Fern much better, since both Dartrix and Decidueye give off the "OMG I think I'm so cool" vibes whilst being sort of lame - just like Fern - whereas Serperior can be a genuinelly majestic badass. Regarding ep 18, I too, hope Supreme Leader Amenoke feels generous enough to give us Scyther since I needs muh Scizur.
  19. It's not in the game as of V10. My guess regarding why that's the case is because next ep's gym will either be Fairy or Rock-type and Metagross can solo those two types, excluding some very specific pokémon.
  20. FUCK YES!!!!!111 FAREWELL TO BOREDOM!!!!! THANKS FOR THE HARD WORKS GUYS. Me rn:
  21. I think we could be getting Thunderbolt, and possibly Thunder, this next ep since we already defeated Amaria and Ciel. Blizzard, Eathquake and Ice Beam, however, could take quite a while to reach our hands, since those moves could mess up both Hardy and Sapphira pretty badly if one manages to get rid of their respective fields.
  22. I generally don't nickname 'mons but when I do it's always these guys: A-Ninetales: Luster Aegislash: Alastor (DMC much?) Arcanine: Good Boi/Good Gril Braviary: Freedom Banette: Chuck Charizard: Igneel (i'm not really a fan of Fairy Tail, just liked the name) Cloyster: Spear Garchomp (i don't always nickname this guy) : Jawz/Godchomp Greninja: SKILLZ Honchkrow: Don Vito Kyogre: Thalasso/Willy Lunala: Nebby Solgaleo: Regulus Suicune: Zephyr Typhlosion: Vesuvius Tyranitar: Zilla Venusaur: Aloe Volcarona: Summer/Dat HAX Zapdos: Tesla Zygarde: Atlas
  23. Cain: 22 Aya: 13 Florinia: 24 Hardy: 24 Kiki: 3 Samson: 15 Shade: 18 Shelly: 24 Anna: 26 Cal: 14 Laura: 25 ZEL: 26
