Gave Jynx Focus Sash, hoped it would let me setup. Didn't help. While Hariyama was OHKO'd, Mienshao U-turn finished her off. He switched to Lucario, I used Mamoswine and EQ'd both it and Blaziken with OHKO's.
Then came the tensest part: Mienshao could have swept my team with Brick Break. I sent out Aurorus with Snow Warning (who promptly got OHIO's) to hopefully let Beartic and Glaceon use Snow Cloak. Mienshao used Poison Jab on Beartic who OHKO'd Mienshao w...

http://www.strawpoll.me/11263981 I am legitimately curious to see what the consensus is (Here's hoping this one works fine)

Holy hell I managed to pull it off. 37 attempts, but I pulled it off.
Fun fact: This is now the most amount of tries that a battle took. Angie took 33, Novae 2, 28 attempts. Valarie, 26. -
Favorite song from my all-time favorite video game. Don't know if all-time favorite video game song, but definitely in the top 10.

I've played and watched Hearthstone for a while now and yet I still find this clip to be my absolute favorite.

Well, I've officially been part of the community for one year now. I must say, joining was one of the best things I've done with my life so far.

18 recorded battles and 15 hours of gameplay later, I have finally gotten my second badge in Rejuvenation Intense. I definitely don't remember it being this slow, though I guess it is early-game so it is justifiable.
I do have a question, though: Is it worth for me to record the Virtual League sidequest? Or would those not be worth recording for an "All major battles" playlist?

E16 content done on my Ice Mono. For those interested, I've updated the thread about it.

Gym Leader battle: 7 attempts.
Random sidequest battle: 39 attempts.
I hate my life right now.

I don't understand my faculty. We have a water dispenser...but it's only there during May, June and September. All other months it's hidden away somewhere.
All I want is a cup of water...
Instead, all that's available are coffee machines that I'm not interested in...

@HongaarseBeer97 Waterbottles are made of plastic, and either due to photo degeneration or through natural causes will slowly dissolve and seep into the water after a while. It's not entirely a problem nor dangerous, but even minute changes in the components of water can alter the taste.
Case in point Danish water is incredibly rich in calcium, and tastes widely different from water in most other countries due to lacking this component. I know Sweden has incredibly iron rich water... What's the quirk of water in the Netherlands?
-
@Tartar To be fair I wouldn't exactly know. I do however know that water from Almere, which is where I live, is (or was, this news is quite old actually) the softest tap water in the whole of Europe. So it has very little calcium in it and it doesn't taste like iron etc. at all.
I actually did a little research and the softness/hardness of tap water where I live is 4.30. If I compare this to Amsterdam which has 8.40, that's a world of difference. I can really taste a difference in those two kinds of tap water. I'll leave the link here, just in case you want to know more (it is in Dutch, though: http://www.waterhardheid.nl/lijst-waterhardheden-in-nederland) Now I didn't calculate the average, but it seems like it's somewhere between 8 and 9. How this compares to the rest of Europe/the world, I have no idea, but it seems quite alright

I feel like such a wreck, mentally and emotionally...
Years of bullying back at school have left me with self esteem somewhere in the outer core of our planet (That's very low) and I always feel like my emotions will get the better of me at bad times...
And the "best" part is that I can't really do anything about it aside from trying to distract myself, which is sometimes hard to do, especially wednesdays...

I think I know what it is, a scar on the soul. as lon'qu said in FE Awakening: Every hit is a lesson, every scar a reminder. the scars on your soul will fade away over time, but never recover completely. the thing that helps most for me is just putting on my head phones and listening to music. just taking my time to not care what others think and just locking everything outside of the wall of your own mind. putting up walls is not always the best idea, but if you know how to break them down it's the best idea

I've only got ~15-20 battles left to go and record but, to be perfectly honest, I am starting to seriously feel burned out. On top of that, some of the battles I have left are likely to take a whole day each.
SpoilerRyland, the two Star Shard sisters and Dufaux being the main ones. I'm also stuck on Lorna now.

So, just read up on the upcoming Hearthstone card nerfs and...
...well...
...remember how, during Karazhan, after that wave of nerfs, we got Shamanstone: Heroes of Totemcraft? Well, this is the same, except with Druid. Why?
Yes, two of the cards getting nerfed are Druid cards...however, Fiery Win Axe, Murloc Warleader and Innervate getting nerfed greatly weakens three of Jade Druid's weaknesses while the Spreading Plague nerf barely affects Jade Druid.
So yeah, Blizzard. Enjoy another Meta with one uncontested "Best" deck again in Jade Druid.
-
For those wondering what the nerfs are:
Innervate now only gives one mana crystal (So now it's literally counterfeit Coin, nerfs Jade Druid a bit and greatly nerfs Aggro Druid, one of Jade Druid's weaknesses);
Fiery War Axe now costs 3 mana (Because the most iconic weapon totally needed a nerf without giving anything to compensate, even with Pirate Warrior, one of Jade Druid's weaknesses.)
Murloc Warleader got nerfed so it only gives +2 Attack rather than +2 Attack/+1 Health (Hurts Mid-range Paladin, another one of Jade Druid's weaknesses.)Spreading Plague got nerfed to 6 mana (Oh hey, a nerf that only affects Jade Druid. Shame they already have infinite ramp...)
And, finally, for no real reason, they decided to nerf Hex to four mana because why not. (I can see why they did that, though: Polymorph is 4 mana, why should Hex cost less.)
-
It's funny because a reply to one of your recent statuses @Pμrple mentioned how Druid wasn't that OP and Warrior and Paladin were more powerful.
A few days later, this happens.
Who wants to bet some Blizzard staff is lurking around here?
-
So...my University's Wi-Fi blocks or otherwise can't connect to these forums or Reborn's Showdown server.
It can connect to regular Showdown fine, it can connect to Discord fine...it's literally just the Reborn forums and Reborn Showdown server.

Tch...today is going to be an unpleasant day, I can feel it.
Got some internal issues with an RP group that we're going to try and solve later today. I don't want it to fall apart, hence the meeting, but at the same time...I dunno...
-
Ugh...waking up at 6:15 AM on monday and friday and then having to wake up at 7:30 on Wednesday and having to be in uni until roughly 19:30...
I feel like I'm just going to crash...

We talk a lot about what is a person's favorite Pokemon type. But what about second and third favorite?
What are everyone's second and third favorite Pokemon types?
Mine are Dark and Water, respectively.

For once I'm posting a positive status:
I don't get hyped easily (or much), but I'm all hyped up for this. -
http://prnt.sc/drqp5s This is probably my favorite moment of the AI derping up. (Hardcore E15 CoM version)
