  1. That's true, that happened before she was taken away by Sigmund never to be seen again.
  2. A bond can have many forms love is just one of them, a mutual desire for power and domination can from a strong bond as well. Pulse while strong come with severe downsides and will hinder her in the long run. The muk used couldn't sustain it shape for long and was close to dead. Also pulses machines aren't very mobile either. So I think a mega would suit her better. The charizard X is an option since noel as a gym leader, was allowed to use his clefable,so they aren't to severe on the monotyping.
  3. Mine is a gastrodon, it walled a lot of stuff. It was the only reason I could be ciel's mega altaria by pp stalling. After that I would say it was my mismagius, the godslayer and humiliator of Bennet.
  4. It is a point of no return. Also if you did the quest, you can always catch the ditto. Then train it up with audino's from the breeder (which give the right EV's btw) and copy the pkmn that gives you the best advantage like lanturn.
  5. swirlix is available and can be found in route 2.
  6. You don't miss the content, you just have to work for it a little: catch a venipede lvl it to lvl 40 and it learns rock climb naturally. Don't let it evolve though because then it needs to be lvl 50. Also the game allowed you to get with less effort a bit earlier. The event scolipede, which is part of the main story, has it. So catch that bug pkmn.
  7. I'm pretty sure you have to talk a second time to trigger the 7th street dialogue.
  8. Personnaly thinking about it for a while, HM's are an interesting aspect of the game. They make the player rethink and temporarely reform his team without forcing them to train up a new pkmn. A secondary action HM's do is to allow a player to appreciate pkmn that aren't appreciated for their battling prowes. Another thing is that HM are an important part of the narritive of the game. After all we are a game about pkmn so allowing pkmn to help you in your quest is good to give the player a feel of the world. They are also one of the few ways for a player's pkmn tointeract with the map. They also influence the narrative as the goal of a lot of "quests" is to hunt them down to advance forward into the world. Assigning them a to a more common item would downplay the importance of these quests. Finally it would make no sense: imagine Florinia running around with an axe on her as a teacher. So I think HM's are a good aspect of this game.
  9. I can help with some pages as well but I'm busy with university.
  10. That was quite overkill, maybe it would be to limit the power items to regular play or breeding only. Also congratulations on beating Shade.
  11. As someone who has used both gulpin ,whismur, trubbish and even fenniken as well, I say you this: use the gulpin. Whismur was a complete dissapointment weak stats and weak moves. I was so fed up with it, I boxed it before I could evolve it to exploud. Gulpin on the other hand has a decent defensive stats and a good early game movepool. For the trubbish vs gulpin I actuallly used them both in the same run and they worked very well together. They fulfilled fundemantally different roles: trubbish was basically a suicide lead for toxic spikes, gulpin was actually a tank that could deal some decent damage over time. This gave them a nice synergy especially with double acid spray and fenneken could play a role in this as well. It actually cleans up poison and steel types which heavely resist these two mons. However if you only want one , I would suggest gulpin, trubbish' only advantage over gulpin is toxic spikes . Gulpin on the other hand is a bit stronger and evolves earlier which was very noticable, since I had to drag trubbish to gabrador while gulpin evolved just at the right time.
  12. I think they were bought from the street by sigmund for basically food and shelter, I mean with such amount of poverty and unemployment in Reborn, it should be quite easy.
  13. I can't help but think that the back and forth is a little bit too distracting but maybe that is just me. Also does this means that some movse will still not be animated at the release of episode 15 (since you finished all this episode's animations)?
  14. magnezone looks like a good idea, bulky steel/electric type, special attacker. I can't say more since I have never used a magnezone to be honest so I can't give further insight. However it gives your team a big fighting type weakness 3 are super effective. The other three I would say meh, since they all are physical attackers and you have 3 of them already slot in and a support. In that case you might best keep swanna since it can keep the fighting types in check and gives you also a water pkmn and it is a special attacker as well.
  15. It was a good read, it's strange that the association with shades gym and kiki's death isn't made yet (maybe next episode). I'm also curious about a little event yet to come, especially with how much guilt your character feels. Good luck with your run.
  16. I think no guard would be cool, let it learn focus blast, zap cannon and blizzard and it can become a major threat. The only problem it has is 2 moves against shedinja: rock tomb and rock slide both physical.
  17. It is pretty much guarantueed a Dimensional Regice. I mean look at the ruby and saphire pokedex entries. "REGICE’s body was made during an ice age. The deep-frozen body can’t be melted, even by fire. This POKéMON controls frigid air of minus 328 degrees F." "REGICE cloaks itself with frigid air of negative 328 degrees F. Things will freeze solid just by going near this POKéMON. Its icy body is so cold, it will not melt even if it is immersed in magma." The first entry describes pretty well how the houses are being frozen and the second one shows a lot of correlation with the dimensional rift.
  18. Ok about that mismagius, get rid of the psybeam and make place for power gem (you will have to go the move relearner for that one), the difference between a super effective psybeam and a normal shadow ball is too small to be any usefull.
  19. The power items do make it easier at first because you basically get free ev's at first. I experienced this as well and just like you it made me question wether or not it was fair. After a while that effect goes away because you reached your maximum ev stat total and then it basically becomes a part of your strategy. The game gives you many options to improve your strategy and some parts of this strategy invalidate some difficulty of the game. For instance is using boomburst in the glass field against Serra to break her entire strategy broken or clever? The same with setting Shelly's field on fire, the sheer diffculty removal that action does is staggering. Another strategic choice would be to run perish song/destiny bond against any pulse. What about about type advantage, my Mismagius swept Bennet before Luna with power gem alone. So if you use the entire toolset the game gives you, the game becomes a lot easier. But can you call it easier? You still use a lot of strategy, you just shifted some elements of your strategy around, in this case money management. The fact that you feel a lack of difficulty in some other parts is only natural.
  20. It is in the blue building with the sign that has on it. It is located in the most north-east in the city, next to the name rater. So go from gearen labratory downwards, on the cross road to the left and then up and you will get there.
  21. I remember my braixen surviving that entire fight, you just have to use it smartly (set the field ablaze). In fact it was so saddening how easy it made that entire fight.
  22. For the zoroark, you might want to go for: extrasensory for extra coverage (the move comes with the zorua so no breeding), nasty plot for set up, taunt to shut down recovery/set up or u-turn to switch out unfavorable match ups (zoroark is very very frail). For the manectric, electric terrain might be a thing to consider since removing a field is usefull and thunder wave to disrupt the enemy or if you have a good hidden power take that. For your last pokemon try something gimmicky like a destiny bond/perish song, counter or even imposter pkmn you might never know when you need it . I would suggest mismagius but I'm a bit biased in that regard.
  23. First nice run and second I don't think you need it, I mean you only have to wait until you beat shelly and you get 3 extra ice mons. So if you think you can't get past shelly with your team then yeah take the sneasel. Alternatively you can take the sneasel and only use it until you beat shelly and then shelve it until much later.
  24. Ty for the help, the water pkmn seems a good idea but I don't think I'm going for the gastrodon but rather vaporeon seems a little more interesting to me. It has less resistances and immunities but the stats seem better.
  25. First thanks for the guide, it will be quite helpfull with my mon training and now a question why doesn't this guide not mention the friendship berries? I mean I consider them a vital part of ev training especially if you want to ev train a former shadow pkmn.
