  1. Is Toxic Orb in the game yet? Need it for Poison Heal Gliscor
  2. Did the Electrizer rate drop go down? Im finding almost a dozen shiny Elekids and not a single Electrizer out of over 100 resets.
  3. So is it just me, or anyone else feel a slight Fate/Stay Night influence? Mostly with Keta's character. Halfway through, loving it so far btw, and I can't help but connect the similarities.
  4. Bannette found in Darchlight Manor, also found Duskull and Dusclops there as well.
  5. -The battle against Charlotte. This is not so much as memorable, as it was insanely difficult, and every day I remind myself I only won because of luck. Even with Crobat's rain dance, Mamoswine's EQ, Walrein's Blizzard and Surf, Blaziken's insane attack power, and Sharpedos immense speed and attack, I won because of luck. Walrein and Crobat both out to ensure the rain, I get the rain off but she doesn't use a grass move on Walrein, meaning I cooled the field down with Blizzard. That was a lucky break in a string of at least 20 losses, and then the rain boosted, non-hindered-by-field Walrein and Sharpedo just devastate with their moves, and it all came down to Ninetales and Delphox vs Blaziken and Sharpedo, and finally I won. -The battle against Dr. Sigmund in the old Yureyu building. You thought this guy was messed up before? Shortly before you enter you hear him electrocuting children, which is really fucked up. I can't help but compare him to Colress a bit, as far as amoral scientist goes anyway, which is why the theme fit him so well. The fact that you HAVE to team up with someone as strong as Cain means this man is trouble, and his team took full advantage of the field and was overall very difficult even with Cain's help. After this battle, the alliance between Team Meteor and Dr. Sigmund's group is pretty much cemented and the threat escalates even further later on. -The second battle with Solaris and Orderly John. I myself cheesed the first fight with a focus slash destiny bond, so didn't have a score to settle for that, but this man is responsible for Kiki's death, as well as others. Solaris is the supposed boss of Team Meteor, who has finally recognized that you are someone worth using his full team against, even against a gym leader as well, and he has Orderly John help him in battle as opposed to Sirius. After humiliating Blake and Fern, two of the organizations newer agents, he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands, and than he loses. Team Meteor suffers an incredible loss for the first time, as I remember anyway. Now we have to wait and see what Lin will bring to us in order to correct Solaris' failure, not to mention Taka's punishment as a result of the water system defeat. I have a feeling we won't see Taka again, and Solaris will be changed because of that, so the after effects of this battle are immensely important as well, as this may be the last time we have seen Solaris as we knew him. He was difficult, and Orderly John augmented his team all the more. The first one I base on difficulty, the second and third I base more on the pretense, and the after effects of the battles, as they change everything.
  6. Probably would go steel, I would have to use Empoleon as my starter but that wouldn't be too bad. Other pokemon such as Aggron, Magnezone, Bisharp, Skarmory, and Bronzong/Metagross would be a fair setup imo. Empoleon if fast enough can counter the ground weakness, Skarmory can set up and try countering fighting types, which also falls to Bronzong. Bisharp sucker punches anything psychic or ghost, Aggron is a good defensive wall against anything without ground or fighting moves, and Magnezone with sturdy and thunder wave makes you worry less about big threats like Arceus. Ferrothorn would be an amazing type to to wall against ground types and anything not fire.
  7. Favorite canon typing would either be Ice/Ghost, the speed of an ice type with offense of a ghost, Poison/Dark, the deteriorating poison combined with Dark types usual high offensive stats, or Water/Dragon just because its a tough one to fight and Kingdra is cool. Favorite one that I would want would probably be a Ice/Steel with filter, just because they are 2 of my favorite base types.
  8. While I have never done a monotype, I do know some poison pokemon that can be of use. The weakness of ground can be countered with Crobat for example, which I believe is captured as a Golbat around mid-early game. It's immense speed adding to its ability to poison and confuse, with a 110 powered Acrobatics makes it a must-have. I also recommend Drapion as a built in physical tank if you are looking for someone to last against a Malamar, and if you can find a way to get X-Scissor on it, that would be a 4x weakness and would hopefully one-shot the Malamar if its defenses were not boosted yet. Plus it is a good toxic spikes layer. I fully suggest catching a Grimer, as it and Muk were a big help early and mid-game. Find a black sludge on a wild trubbish for it, and have it learn minimize and acid armor, which combined with its natural sp. defense make it an incredible wall. And of course as the above suggestions say, Toxicroak and/or Nidoking would be great additions to cover the whole steel thing
  9. Defeating Angie was perhaps the most satisfying moment in the game, and then I drop into despair seeing that she returns. The greatest moment however I would say, would be the finale of Blacksteeple Prison. Pretty emotional stuff, as emotional as what Tesla says later on to you, The scariest moment which was also a favorite is when you try and steal the CD from Venam, do not mess with Venam.
  10. While I spent the most time on super training, the contests from Hoenn are too nostalgic for me not to vote for, plus they were always fun back in RSE and in ORAS no matter how many times I repeated them.
  11. Team New Dawn Supreme Judge Akira Goal: As a former international police member, Akira dealt with all types of scum in the world, however the amount of times that the criminals were allowed to buy themselves to freedom and out of punishment drove him to break ties with the IP. Years later, he forms Team New Dawn, to pass judgement on all who walk the streets of any region, that he believes to not deserve that right. His admins are each former members of courts, police, or otherwise that have seen the injustice as he has, and are as zealous as Akira. He hopes to obtain the power of Darkrai, to dive into the dreams of everyone, and in his zealous rage smite any who have committed any form of crime, no matter how minor. Akira is basically the vigilante who will go to extreme lengths to ensure cold justice, and does not care about who gets hurt in the process, as he see's justice as above all else. Darkrai is but the secondary goal however, as he wishes to capture Rayquaza itself, to obtain the power he needs to bring "justice" to the world. Team New Dawn grunts will have a variety of ice, dark, psychic, or poison pokemon. Most commonly: Golbat, Metang, Glalie, Bronzong, Mighthyena, Tentacruel, and more. The Admins each have more variety in their pokemon, but all of them own a Absol. Other Pokemon may include: Crobat, Magneton, Flygon, Houndoom, Electivire, Magmortor, and other high tier pokemon. Supreme Judge Akira usually has a team of 6, and when he obtains Darkrai he does not get to battle with it, as the trainer interferes and battles the Darkrai while he is searching the dreams of everyone in the region, after defeating Darkrai, the trainer finds Akira has already finished his search, and recorded the names of the to be judged in a dream-scanner. His usual team is: Weavile- Lvl 89- Pickpocket Night Slash Ice Punch Aerial Ace Brick Break Drapion- Lvl 89- Battle armor, black sludge Toxic Spikes Poison Jab Earthquake Fell Stinger Salamence- Lvl 90- Intimidate, Life Orb Dragon Dance Outrage Aqua Tail Earthquake Metagross- lvl 90- Clear Body, Air Balloon Agility Meteor Mash Zen Headbutt Thunder Punch Gyarados-lvl 92- Moxie, Wacan Berry Dragon Dance Waterfall Earthquake Crunch Gardevoir-lvl 93- Trace, Mega stone Calm Mind Psychic Draining Kiss Thunderbolt Once Rayquaza is obtained, it replaces Salamence at lvl 100, but is unable to mega evolve due to Akira's obsession with a cold, dark justice. Rayquaza-Lvl 100, Leftovers Draco Meteor Dragon Claw Earthquake Extreme Speed
  12. I would have to say one of my favorite tanks at the moment is Dusknoir, given it has both good physical and special defenses. Will-O-Wisp an opponent and hit with shadow sneak while watching them do no damage to you is amusing, I imagine eviolite Dusclops is more effective. There is another one worth mentioning, before Reborn I had never used Muk. Give it black sludge, and combine that with the +2 evasion per minimize, +2 defense per Acid Armor, its already high sp def, and just use toxic and stall the opponent. So either Muk or Dusknoir.
  13. They are also all camping the ladder so even if the floor was lit you can't escape, just reporting that in case its a bug too.
  14. Sturdy Magnezone+thunder wave should be enough to keep Arceus from sweeping a team. After paralysis I managed to 2HKO it with Blaziken, though one was a crit. Just paralyze it and wear it down with the rest of your team and you're good. However if you don't want to go through that process, I imagine memento could work on Arceus to make its attacks do nothing, if Spiritomb is able to take a hit anyway.
  15. I want to assume Krystal is the Champion, but I also believe Erin is part of the Elite 8, and that they should recognize each other, but other then that she seems cool but definitely hiding something serious. Played all the routes first and decided to join Bladestar as opposed to exposing Flora. Those grunts need someone to train them after all, plus playing on the rebel side is always fun. I battled against Flora and after having most of my team KO'd by a Ludicolo, just paralyzed it and Calm Mind x4 with Gardevoir with the field enhanced moonblast. It helped that Gardevoir copied Swift Swim before he used Rain Dance. I think that Aelita is recovering with Erins grandparents but the rest encountered someone, whether it was Angie or Team Xen, and either chased them off or led them away so Aelita could be smuggled away to the healer. Not going to lie, I felt like I almost had a heart attack when I first saw the ghost girl. The whole story of it is quite tragic and well-written. I assume there will be more involving the Rotom and the safe soon enough. On a side note, like how the characters changed clothes in the past, I hope to those who joined Bladestar, they unlock a admin uniform or something to wear while on missions for Bladestar so as not to get recognized, it would be interesting for there to be a help board for Bladestar agenda too.
