  1. In Gen7, The pikacolnes will recieve notable stat buffs or movepool expansions that make them... idk, less forgettable?

He's so much better then pikachu

    3. CURIE

      CURIE

If you watched the anime you'd know that Bonnie-Dedenne is coming

    4. dragoniteborntacoz

      dragoniteborntacoz

eagle i really hope your joking

ash greninja sounds stup id enough

  2. I live again, so... In Gen7, Acid Spray will recieved a power buff, and hit Steel SE.

    2. Fumble

      Fumble

Maybe get rid of the base power buff; I think the fact that it lowers Special Defense by 2 stages is already good enough.

    3. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

Well. It's 40BP now. I was thinking 55, since the added effect is guaranteed. The point of it would be to shift the focus of the meta slightly off Steel-types, since they can't do a thing about it, while reintroducing Poison as a viable option, and encouraging Rock- and Ghost-types to return to the upper tiers.

However, since it'd only be 55 BP, it wouldn't stand out as well as say... Freeze-Dry, which hits for 70BP, and SE on over 1/3 Pokemon (SE on Water, Flyin...

    4. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

(for reference, Ice already hit 1/3, while Poison hits 97; this would add only 39, I think)

  3. Probing question: In detail, how do you prefer Pokemon to be distributed. Vague question is vague, so take it how you will.

    2. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

Well, that got misinterpreted. My fault there, of course. Meant more along the lines of normal ingame mons, rather than events and the like. I'll prolly repost this (correctly) tomorrow or something.

    3. mde2001

      mde2001

Oh, I like there to be quite a lot of choice, so not everyone ends up with the same team, but I don't like super overpowered things coming in until later (unless if they are well hidden).

    4. Nova

      Nova

I just want Pokemon to be distributed to PC.

  4. idk what happened http://prntscr.com/c614ax

The rumor come out. Does Cobalt is actually Lugruf?

      Cobalt996

Kurotseto sounds like the tsundere way to have a falsetto

  5. TIme for "In Gen7": In Gen7, there will be a Fire-type Stealth Rock

    1. Show previous comments  3 more
    2. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

Don't worry, Viri; the one you like will come sometime of later.

    3. Zargerth

      Zargerth

What's your opinion about a stage hazard that burns upon entry?

    4. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

      Wait for it until later~

  6. In Gen7, "Terrain" abilities will be passively active in some areas (like field effects, but simpler, because Pokemon)

    3. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

0% of these are in any way confirmed, rumours, or myths.

    4. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

And it's not a wishlist; it's things that could happen, but prolly won't. I do NOT want some of these

  7. [fake] In Gen7, all previously changed type matchups will be reverted. (eg Poison SE vs bug) Won't that be fuuuun?

    1. Show previous comments  3 more
    2. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

      The full list:

      Poison -> Bug x2

      Bug -> Poison x2

      Ghost -> Psychic x0

      Ice -> Fire x1

      Ghost -> Steel x.5

      Dark -> steel x.5

    3. Shing

      Shing

Steel would get super effective by grass, ice, rock, bug, dragon, fairy, poison, psychic, flying and it's own type.

    4. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

      Reverted, not inverted.

  8. In Gen7, there will be a massive coding oversight, so Mix&Mega literally becomes a thing in-game. FOr those who don't know, Mix&Mega allows any Pokemon to use any Mega stone, so long as their stats are still all within the 1-255 range.

      That is not a fantasy.

      That is a nightmare.

    3. laggless01

      laggless01

Maybe better: Medichamite/Mawilite everything! Huge Power Everywhere! MUHAAAHAHAHA!

    4. Samalet

      Samalet

      >huge power Kyurem-B

It demolishes everything with not very effective moves.

  9. Probing question: on a scale from Visual Novel (low gameplay) to Sandbox (low plot), how do you prefer the plot and gameply freedom balanced?

    1. Show previous comments  2 more
    2. Nhadala

      Nhadala

Heavily story focused, idc if it has gameplay or not as long as i get engrossed in the story.

    3. Lugruf

      Lugruf

Normally gameplay over story, unless story is really good

    4. dragoniteborntacoz

      dragoniteborntacoz

Gameplay is really the only thing that matters to me

As long as I'm having fun I don't care if there is no story

But when the plot just kind of drags on like in some games I get bored

  10. Tomorrow is the day after the end of the world, allegedly. Well, on to the umpteenth world-end-resolution, I guess >.>

      Maelstrom

So... we say goodbye to Cali. They were having a drought and now they might just get dunked into the sea.

    3. Sutoratosu

      Sutoratosu

I mean, cali's already getting fucked over by EQ over EQ, so...

ya know, after 12/21/12 failed to yield any apocalyptic results, I kinda stopped putting any stock into doomsday theories. Because that one was ficticious as fuck, let me tell you... the mayan's never predicted the destruction of the earth for that day, the western media took their culture's tradition of a new cycle beginning and twisted it into something ugly

  11. In Gen 7, Defog will remove Trick Room.

    1. Show previous comments  1 more
    2. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

Substitute, Magic Room and Wonder Room, too

Also Infiltrates, so no bouncing :^)

    3. Ironbound

      Ironbound

Both of those are quite the stretch!

Tbh Gen7 should bring back the actual Fog weather from DPPt. The annoyance of accuracy drops!

    4. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

My personal wish is Fog/DeltaStream/Sand Formes for Castform, even though it will remain pretty bad.

      Also, Mist/Clear Smog causing Fog.

  12. Fire Emblem: Troubadour solo commence. Yes, that means something that only gets staves is soloing maps

    1. Show previous comments  1 more
    2. YinYang9705
    3. krim

      krim

FE4/5 Troubadours got swords, so it is possible. Just not likely and probably not possible outside of those games.

    4. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

Mine glitch and variants (torch/trap tile) allow the acquisition of monster weapons in The Sacred Stones. Evil Eye just so happens to be - Rank Dark, and can be universally equipped. --/-- uses is a bonus.

  13. In Gen7, Flare Blitz/DE/etc will be replaced with one move that has its type be the primary type of the initiating Pokemon. Same for Quick Attack varients.

    1. Show previous comments  1 more
    2. Cepheus

      Cepheus

      yeah... that would be OP...

    3. Sapphire

      Sapphire

Cobalt-um...no. Considering you can get non-normal types running double-edge. Then you have things like talon that run both (and flare blitz burns-would you want an ice double edge that freezes lol?) You also have things like victini and Volcarona that are secondary fire that get flare blitz.

    4. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

I never said I like what I suggest; I only suggest. Usually sarcastically.

  14. In Gen7, Pokemon with no Secondary/Hidden ability will gain one, with a few exceptions.

    1. Show previous comments  1 more
    2. BlueMoonIceCream

      BlueMoonIceCream

Pretty sure they're saying that any pokemon that currently don't have a hidden/secondary ability will gain one in gen 7

    3. dragoniteborntacoz

      dragoniteborntacoz

What would you run on eelectross other then levitate

That ability is perfect because so many people don't know it has it

I've seen people continually use earthquake and get frustrated because they don't know why it isn't hitting

    4. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

That was me forgetting to hit "Comment." Oops. The exceptions are Arceus, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Slaking, and Regigigas. The latter two would gain access to each-other's abilities, while the others would retain their current mono-ability state. Apologies on the 30-minute-late clarification.

Also, Thomas, these usually aren't serious predictions. The wording was on purpose, but, well.. ^

      Ironbound

I'm at a loss for words. And that's an impressive feat.

  16. Probing question: Reveption of multiple "difficulty" options, and prefered difficulty ranges.

    1. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

      Reception, even.

    2. starkidcosmo

      starkidcosmo

love it. I get my easy mode, everyone else gets their "I love dying & being dead" modes

    3. Shamitako

      Shamitako

I'm average and shall remain average into all averaternity

Difficulty only matters to me if it's painstakingly hard or easy, in which case I will avoid the game. And games like that are generally intended to be like that so difficulty changing defeats the point

  17. Time to figure out a good restriction for a playthrough. Again :(

    1. Another Felix

      Another Felix

      No items, foxes only.

    2. Commander

      Commander

Hardcore, set, no items, water mono

    3. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

No items was a part of my fire mono, outside of the fifteen minutes of grinding.

Not doing HC quite yet, though. Going to play it through normally, first.

  18. Reborn Hardcore Bug Mono commence. Julia and Corey, have mercy.

    1. Isa-Chu

      Isa-Chu

      I believe in you.

    2. Sutoratosu

      Sutoratosu

Use the rain... just like Shelly.

    3. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

Rain's boring. Just use the sun to burn everything. Oh wait, this isn't a Fire mono anymore :P

Just realized I'll have some coverage on Corey, and Julia... can just... leave.

  19. In Gen7, Magnet Pull will additionally draw Steel-type moves like Storm Drain, but without immunity/etc.

    1. Cepheus

      Cepheus

for Physical moves that would actually made sense...

but the special one (Mirror Shot, Flash Cannon and Doom Desire) are actually based on Light, so I actually can't see how it would make sense for these...

    2. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

...And a magical shroud flinging away pebbles and spikes that are not even aimed at you (rather the ground) makes sense?

    3. Ironbound

      Ironbound

Anything that increases the power of the Lord Margenzone wins my approval.

  20. In Gen7, there will be an option to play with or without the P/S split. In this case, Fairy will be Special.

    2. Lugruf

      Lugruf

Please Cobalt write [speculation] or something in your statuses because in every one you post there's someone who believes it's true

    3. Rot8er_ConeX

      Rot8er_ConeX

I wasn't believing it, per se. It does sound cool, and I wanted confirmation.

  21. In Gen7, Every Pokemon will have five mov eslots, but megas will lose the bottommost one upon mega evolving. Too bad Primal Reversion is different~

    1. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

Adding [speculation] here, because it was requested. Speculation isn't quite accurate, though. More like random guessing and praying for it to happen or not happen.

    2. laggless01

      laggless01

Being able to learn five moves as an ability would be cool, tho.

    3. dragoniteborntacoz

      dragoniteborntacoz

there are so many pokemon that need a 5th move slot

  23. In Gen7, ...uh... I've got nothing. Literally too bust at work to think of anything. How about something random like reverting to Gen I/II stat calculation methods?

    1. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

      Busy, even.

    2. Garnet.

      Garnet.

how about the battle system is literally just gen 1 all over again :]

    3. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

      How about no.

  24. [fake] In Gen7, there will be an option to play with each pokemon being buffed or debuffed to 600 BST, while keeping their current trend. (Uniform trend being 100 in all stats)

    1. FairFamily

      FairFamily

Scary thoughts, a shedinja with 100 base speed and 225 bas attack with priority or a huge power eviolite bunnelby with 90 base attack and 144 base speed.

    2. Lugruf

      Lugruf

In Gen7, Scald's burn chance will be lowered from 100% to 30%

    3. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

      More like 255% to 100%
