Metroid Prime 4? Hell yes! Xenoblade 2? Eh. I'm not the biggest fan of Xenoblade, but I did enjoy Xenosaga Episodes 1-3.
In other news: Mia still not in Fire Emblem: Warriors ;w;

Sony's conference was... not great, but also not bad at the same time. They showed off a lot of cool games, especially the new Monster Hunter and Horzion: Zero Dawn expansion and several others. But... I wanted to see and hear more about those games. It's to be expected however, since Sony was bound to have an "eh" conference at some point. That cute, mouse VR game I really want to hear more about and even play, but... it's a VR game, sooooooo... yeah. It's a shame though, because I was actually interested in it.
-
Yeah, that whole thing I can agree with. They had great games shown, but didn't capitalize on it. I don't much care for Kingdom Hearts anymore, except for its gameplay, so I didn't really care if it was shown or not. Final Fantasy 7 remake on the other hand...
I can also agree with those rankings. Sony is definitely 3rd place overall with Microsoft surprisingly taking 2nd and Ubisoft at No. 1 because Mario XCOM and several other cool things (Beyond Good and Evil 2 *cough*). Also, Ubisoft announced their Just Dance game, showed off a cool little dance number, and then that was it; short, sweet and didn't spend 15 minutes talking about why Just Dance this year is so "innovative and different". They announced it and that was it, twas a good choice.
-
So... anyone else hyped for Mario XCOM? Because I know I am! I freaking love that type of tactical RPG.

Neither did people who expected Final Fantasy and Disney making Kingdom Hearts, but look how that went: Somewhere, that's for sure XD
But, I have high hopes for this game, based on the footage I saw. The Rabbids look a lot funnier and less aggravating than they were in the original Wii launch title, so that's a plus.

I heard of Cuphead for awhile now, and actually seeing it is just... weirdly disturbing. Yet, at the same time, I really wanna try it out, because I loved old 1930's cartoons, especially cartoons that were shown on the Chuck Jones show.

Okay, I'm going to be totally honest here and say... the Microsoft conference was... actually pretty good. It focused on a lot of things that people who watch E3 care about: Video games. Not only that but they showed off a lot of cool games, like Super Lucky's Tale which was adorable and I want that game to be multi-platform, that pirate game which was pretty funny. Also I thought that the bro-Orc in Shadows of War so super endearing and funny (I actually really liked Shadows of Mordor, so I'm a sucker for this game, even though it's not an Xbox exclusive.)
It did have some dumb moments, especially the dick-stroking at the beginning. But, they got the guns and wheels out of the way first, then got to the cool stuff. Dragon Ball Fighter Z being announced (well I already heard about it, so whatever) was pretty dope as I'm a huge DBZ fan. But, again, it's not an exclusive so... yeah? I like how they actually want to have a 3D platformer mascot on their console, which is neat and a good choice on their part AND I like how they didn't talk about Halo, Gears of War, or Call of Duty (the games most people often times associate with Microsoft). That said though... I would not want to buy the 10 year old's gamertag console at... 499, 499... 499 USD. Like... no thanks. It's decent but not 499 USD decent.
Overall... I'd give it a solid 8.5. Had a strong focus on games, but there were some moments at the beginning and end that were dumb and one of the games that said "pre-order" and it was like... a bunch of Cortana's walking around for like 15 seconds and I was just like "why should I pre-order this?"
-
XboxOneX? Sounds like every 10 year old's gamertag gone wrong. Pretentious, cock-stroking idiots, Microsoft. *slow clap* All I'm hearing from Microsoft is "look at how badass our hardware is!" PC gamers are just like...
PC Gamers: *blink* "and...?"
Also... Microsoft and their focus on guns and wheels, as usual. Because ofc.

You know what I want more than anything? Not another mainline Pokemon game for another year, and give us another Pokemon Conquest game or Mystery Dungeon. Super Mystery Dungeon was awesome, but it had pacing issues, and Conquest was a great Disgaea/Fire Emblem/FF Tactics game that I want more of.
Give me more creative side-games and not constant mainline games every year; I'm getting burnt out like no other.

I also hated the living hell out of a lot of the characters and how they built them up with such fanfare, but didn't do crap with them. If their names weren't Lilie or Hao, then they didn't matter at all. They should've done their thing and stopped while they were ahead, than just wasting my time with useless dialogue that didn't amount to ANYTHING.
*takes breath*

You're not the first person I've heard say that and it's pretty valid honestly. I'm not too excited myself because SM itself wasn't too long ago and I don't feel like it's been long enough yet. Maybe they'll get me interested, maybe not. I believe in judging a game based on it's own merits and negatives however rather than bringing in bias from previous editions.
Team Skull was lit though, loved them. Easily the best part about the games.

This is what I do, everyday. Sort of. If it's not networking or fixing other people's problems on campus, then it's me reimaging laptops to be sold for like... 10-60 dollars. Seriously, they are that cheap. That said, they are i3's with 4GB of ram and Windows 7 on them. It's perfect for watching movies, YouTube or doing homework. That and I changed out the Hard Drives/DVD Drive and did a tune up on them. We also have i5's with 8GB of ram and dedicated graphics which is cool.
I was multi-tasking all 9 of these laptops XD

So, Ultra S/M aren't coming to the Switch:
-
To those of you who wanted Pokemon Stars, allow me to put you guys in the band camp with those who wanted Pokemon Grey, and Z. Also, I feel like Game Freak were trolling when they made the names "Ultra Sun" and "Ultra Moon".

I actually think these Radiant Dawn hack fights are super rad to watch! I'm in a huge FE mood at the moment, and I've been playing through Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn and Awakening again lately.
-
Fire Emblem: Warriors character that I really, really want is Mia, because goddamn she hasn't gotten anything since Awakening in Spotpass. I was hoping she'd be usable in Heroes, but no. Sad face. She might be behind a paywall, like what they did in Hyrule Warriors where they did the Wind Waker DLC pack, etc.
I just want to play as a female swordsman that was from my favorite Fire Emblem game ;w; Lyn is cool too, and I'm most certainly sure she's gonna be in it.

Say what you will about First Person Shooter games all being the fucking same, what with their half-assed story modes and FAR too much emphasis on the multiplayer side, but Halo 1, and 2 had both going for them. God I miss classic Halo 2 multiplayer more than any shooter game. Glad to see people working on a project to bring it back: http://www.h2v.online/
I normally hate the hell out of FPS's (believe me, I hate FPS's), but all I ever want out of a shooter is a solid singleplayer experience, is that too hard to ask out of modern FPS's? At least Doom 2016 gave me what I craved since Halo 2 - a solid singleplayer experience. None of that stupid emphasis on multiplayer, DLC, Map Packs, and pre-order garbage.

Borderlands, yeah, I can agree with. It was a fun RPG-Shooter game and it had a pretty interesting Telltale game based off of the series. But, other than that I can never find myself finishing the games because when I hit the 70% mark of the game I just stop, for one reason or another. Possibly because of how tedious it got at points.
But, the thing is I don't play FPS's, they are my least played genre, however they did have some pretty good shooters, like the original Halo, Halo 2, Goldeneye, Time Splitters original Doom 1 and 2 as well as Doom 2016. All of which were solid on their own merits, without multiplayer being shoved down our throats.
-
Ye. Give Wolfenstein: The New Order a shot then. They didn't even tack on a Multiplayer for that game.
Also I'm not the biggest fan of the genre myself either. But it's msotly since it's a mostly online one these days and I'm not really a fan of online games etc. ((I say knowing full well I play LoL... though barely anymore.)) -
Sounds like something I'd need to look into. The thing is I don't mind FPS multiplayer, so long as it's done right and it's not irritating like CoD and even like Halo 4 and on. To where it's so mindless and the developers only care about pushing the multiplayer aspect of those games to high-hell with day one DLC, pre-order bonuses before the game is even announced (which is fucking infuriating in its own right) and making the singleplayer pretty much barren and dull.
Halo 2 had a pretty solid multiplayer that I really miss to this day as well as having a singleplayer that was very fun and had a story that I actually cared about. But, if an FPS can deliver to me a solid singleplayer experience (because I'm not holding my breath that any FPS multiplayer will be good, unless it's a standalone game like TF2, Overwatch, etc) then I'll play it.

So, I caved and got a Discord... probs not gonna ever use the group chat functionality of it, but: Dylanrockin0728

When you go to check on Nintendo Switch games on Amazon and then get morbidly curious as to why the Switch's price is almost twice as much as it is in retail...
What the actual fuck? When I bought my Switch it was 299.99 at Wal-Mart. Why is it $400.00+ dollars online when in retail its cheaper? Normally its the other way around 0.o I always prefer online shopping, but this is just bizarre, since it's been like this since the Switch was released. 299 retail 400+ online.

I just got this in the mail today. People say Final Fantasy 6 or Chrono Trigger are some of the best SNES RPGs. And I'd agree that those are pretty high up there in my list, but people over here in the states probably never played this gem. The first, ever, console RPG to have voice acting (old PC games did it before this, but I'm talking specifically home consoles) and an opening theme that had lyrics in it. I'm referring to Tales of Phantasia. Not the god-awful GBA port with its many technical problems and framerate issues, but the original Super Famicom version. The PS1 version is pretty awesome too, but this specific version has a lot of pedigree and history to it.
It's a shame most people didn't get to play this game when it first came out, because it never came to the states (because of fucking course it didn't ;w; ). Also Arche Klein and Suzu Fujibayashi are both too cool for school <3
I actually managed to get this in its original box as well as with its manual. The only problem with the game itself is that it doesn't save. Yeah, unfortunately cartridge based games like this suffer from their batteries running dry over the years so you have to manually change them out.

ToP is pretty good, but I still prefer Chrono Trigger. I like the whole "time travel" bit and the various double/triple techs. Not to mention Lavos' epic world ending spikes of death. The NDS version added some new areas/sidequests (and I think a little more detail into Lucca's past) as well as the Dream Devourer.
-
Yeah, I do know that the DS version added in quite a few, cool, extra bosses. Especially the radish looking dude, whose name escapes me. Personally I'd put ToP in 1st, Chrono Trigger in 2nd, FF6 in 3rd. I also, fun fact, just ordered a in-the-box Chrono Trigger, Seiken Densetsu 2 (Secret of Mana for those of you in the US) and Fire Emblem: Monshō no Nazo (Mystery of the Emblem).

So far, I love my job working IT. I get to work on computers, work on cool projects like building the E-Sports room at my University AND when there's nothing to do I chill and don't even get yelled at for it.
These are all the Laptops that we are going to re-image on Monday.
Crappy photo from my Iphone 5's crappy camera of the Laptops that I need to get around to finishing on Monday:

God, the finale of this anime... IT'S SO GOOD!!!
-
See you, Space Cowboy:
-
Anyone who has a Playstation Vita what games do you have on it? Currently I have Phantasy Star Nova, Tales of Hearts R, Soul Sacrifice, Spelunky, Rogue Legacy, Gravity Rush and Ys: Memories of Celceta.
Any games to recommend that isn't Persona 4 Golden?
-
Anyone else with glasses take them off before they eat or is it just me? I don't like steam fogging up my glasses XD
-
So... I may or may not have just bought more Japanese Tales manga...
-
Puyo Puyo Tetris for the Nintendo Switch looks like a hell of a lot of fun! Also the characters are super cute, so that's a plus! (Shame that I don't have anyone in my house to play with ;w; )

I managed to create a program in C# that automatically sorts my taxes for me. So, whenever tax season rolls around all I have to do is press one button and its done. None of that 1-2 hour long nonsense of doing taxes.
