"Keep in mind that we'll have to watch out for collateral damage, the mononoke invested in big ship wrecking guns and charmed armor to protect their 'epithet card', but of course they didn't invest in anything that could actually prevent someone from just wandering into their killzone."

"I have a question, what will happen to the woman we encountered during the mission? The one who apparently wanted to cure her illness using the tree of life? I don't know if she was a cadet and I was sort of curious about her eventual fate."

"Well as you all know there really isn't much for me to say that I haven't already told anyone here before, or that's what I would have said if Sasha hadn't decided to bring a new friend along with her." Immanuel then takes a seat to the right side of the table that is closest to their host and gestured at Chise before he said, "But as Chise seems to be here to stay, I will now state that all I know about this mission is that we will be investigating a moving fortress staffed entirely by relatively mundane mononoke to find out exactly what the card emperors thought was important enough to throw manpower and if necessary take control of it before the card emperors do, no matter how unlikely that outcome seems to be." He then leaned back slightly on his chair before he continued with, "Or before they make our mission more difficult by pointing out the vulnerabilities in the mononoke's defenses with another series of failures, which actually seems pretty likely to happen."

The intern would rather curiously find herself seated in an uncomfortable metal chair in what could be best described as an interrogation room, the lights in the room are dim and the entire place seemed to give off a feeling of disuse if the musty smell in the air is any indication. Thankfully you don't seem to be tied down to anything right now, but who knows what could be waiting to ambush you just behind the metal door lading out of this room?. Although whoever they are they could be watching you right now through the big glass viewing screen, so whatever it is you were planning to do... you might want to plan it around the possibility that they know exactly what you are doing right now.

Ahmed reacted to Asuka being laid out on the floor by crawling on the floor for a few more moments before he let out another retching sound and trotted up unsteadily on his own two feet and said, "I think you meant to say 'bet' Sir Kay, and it might not be wise to provoke Kyou any further," as he trotted over to where Asuka was picking herself up from the floor and attempted to offer her his aid with standing back up again.

Jun was actually in the middle of ordering a light meal before she turned in for the night when Satomi called her meeting, and after the younger woman had finished speaking she cleared her throat and said, "Most of my day have passed without much of interest other than the surprising amount of conflict a piece of equipment I requisitioned caused. Although I honestly cannot say the same about the afternoon or evening as I spent almost the entirety of it exploring the islands floating somewhere above this village as part of a succesful search for interesting technology and mineral deposits with the help of my good friends and colleagues Leo, Toshiro, and our new associate Capten-General Commanda Commisa Centurion Warlock Nob Warboss Azgrurk Da Third of Da 423rd Brigade," Jun then motioned at the massive berserking man and a half Ork that she and the rest of the sky islanding group had dragged all the way to this meeting, "But I'm afraid that the rest of his brigade won't be joining us on this endeavor as the only one we had encountered had already expired."

"You're also the lightest and smallest person on this team, and quite frankly with the refinements I have made to my armor's design I am more likely to cause a mononoke to go splat when I plow into them at high speeds. And of course there's also the fact that you are currently not wearing any armor, we wouldn't want you to veer of course and go splat on the walls because a mononoke clipped you now wouldn't we?."

Serra quickly realized that it would have taken quite a bit of detective work to find Emilia in the first place as the conference room she and Oak were in when they first left was rather conspicuously locked. Although she just as quickly realized that there were in fact two other people here who could tell her if Oak was still somewhere inside of the office, and Katie would rather quickly point out that neither Emilia and Oak were in the office, as the Professor had a radio show to attend to and Emilia was heading out to...do something or other I guess, she wasn't quite sure.

"Well when you live in a world where a person can exist as a mound of belts and leather and a grown man can get away with having that hairstyle, I'd say that the idea of wanting to beat someone at a children's card game seems awfully normal in comparison." Immanuel said before he shifted slightly and scanned the room they had entered in search of a comfortable looking place to sit on that he could claim before anyone other than their host did.

"Well judging by your outfit I'm guessing that you couldn't use any 'equipment' even if you had them. Mostly because you seem to lack any opposable thumbs, fingers, hands, and in fact any visible limbs. What method do you use to move around places again? Other than the box you rode here in that is."

Immanuel had that deadpan tone in his voice once more as he rather bluntly replied with"'Fuck it, they're not supposed to make it off of the plane anyway so we might as well do it now?'," he then coughed before he gestured at the visibly altered visor of his helmet and what could only be described as an honest to god utility belt, "Well I don't know about the rest of you but I brought a bunch of flashbang grenades and a whole lot of definitely tried and tested combat stims and medicine in case one of us needs a pick me up for some reason. I also made a couple of upgrades to my suit of armor; so while I won't be able to match your speed, I think I should be able to get on there by myself if I have to, and I presume that Tor has a mobility enhancing card somewhere inside of that deck of his that allows him to fly over that ship, or at least I hope so since I don't think that the belt baby's going to suddenly sprout wings anytime soon, and I'm reasonably sure that Marina's one of the two people in this whole group that won't look awkward sitting in a sidecar."

If Immanuel minded the smug tone in Sasha's voice he certainly didn't display any of it as he rather flatly said, "Ah, well I thought that the exoskeleton's occupants seemed to be acting a bit too deadpan, but then again their their timely deaths would rather neatly explain why they couldn't form a coherent plan if their lives depended on it, as it really wasn't," he then absentmindedly teleported a piece of his gauntlet off to allow him to check his watch before he said, "And I do agree with your assessment, if they really wanted to make this cost efficient they could have sprung for an automated system of some sort for those exoskeletons and brought twice the amount of firepower with them instead of carelessly throwing away the lives of every member of a two man operation as part of their opening ploy. Although of course this assumes that their higherups were halfway competent, which considering the fact that their opening move wasn't to try and shoot away Tor's cards and bring down the whole plane seems to be...highly unlikely."

"All hero names started out as a corny stage name Sasha, at least until the person behind the name finally makes a name for themselves anyway," he then gave the only person in the group that could be visibly identified as a woman a sidelong glance before he asked with a slight hint of disbelief in the tone of his voice, "You actually managed to convince the police to let you examined one?."

"We both know that most people would raise an eyebrow higher to seeing this year's winner of this year's annual Mister or Missus Leather rolling down the street with a mechanic than hearing an obviously made up name Chise, and besides having an easily identifiable name is quite important if I ever want to inspire anyone else, and my real names are already associated with a proverbial boatload of other, more renowned people from allmost all walks of life." He then gently tapped on his heavily armored chest as he waited for Marina to finish speaking before he said, "Of course we shouldn't underestimate them too much, you can say what you will about the Card Emperor's actual competence on the field of combat or their lack of it all that you want, but the fact of the matter is that they still managed to sneak in two of their agents on board of the flight Svenson was on without anyone there being the wiser," he left a slight pause as he mentally replayed the events of the plane flight before he continued with, "Although of course they presumably crumpled the moment they faced an obstacle that forced them to actually fight competently."

"Well what skills does she have to offer to the group other than perfectly blending in inside of BDSM parlors and cosplay parties alike?," he then turns around to face the newcomer better before he says, "My name's Challenger One by the way, and just in case Sasha's forgot to tell you about the rest of us the Nordic sounding guy is called Tor Svenson, and the little girl's name is Marina."

Vlastimir took a moment to survey his surroundings (and the contents of his wallet) before he decided to quietly approach the chip vendor and plainly ask the man, "What is wrong? Did something happen to frier?"

Immanuel was all set and ready to discuss exactly what he was planning on gathering and give out ideas on how they might want to approach the situation... but after noticing the fact that Sasha seemed to have brought a gimp with her to a business meeting he couldn't help but ask, "Uhhh, who is that exactly? And why did you bring them here?"

James had a bit of an odd look on his face as he stared into Horace's eyes and asked, "Pun intended?," to try and leave a slight awkward silence as he motioned for some of the guards to drag the Team Rocket members over to one of the interrogation rooms. It took quite a while before he finally decided to continue with "Well I don't know about you, but I expected at least one of you to have gotten one from prior investigative or recreational experience, but that was too much to ask apparently, I'll make sure to call the armory to requisition some for the rest of you to pick up... after the five of you take a shower and get a change of clothes, we're not operating a sweat shop ladies and gentlemen," as if to punctuate this point Katie immediately picked up the bottle of perfume that James had placed back on the table and sprayed the party with its contents once more.

Aster would at first find very little of interest within the cabin's slightly dusty and dark confines, and he might have even considered giving up the search after he stepped on something that could only be described as 'Zubat Litter', but his tiny companion would find themselves having a lot more luck as they almost immediately manage to point out the exact location of what appeared to be a trap door in the time it took for Aster to complain about his shoes and pants being ruined by a sudden spray of...ech. James meanwhile, was not at all amused at the antics of the rest of the group as he quickly started to spray literally everyone with what appeared to be a very medicinal smelling perfume, and he was still pinching his nose with a vaguely annoyed look on his face when he replied to Horace's question with, "Did you even stop to requisition some? Or did you just immediately head out to Arceus knows where to arrest...who are these people supposed to be again?".

Ahmed for lack of a better word, half crawled half slid his way out of the tube as he slowly readjusted to the idea of being a regular person who is neither several stories tall or suffering from what might have been some broken ribs. It took a couple of moments for him to stop dry retching for long enough to say, "I think I'm mostly fine... except my throat feels a little weird for some reason, I think I accidentally swallowed some of the LCL back there.... but anyway that was actually pretty awesome Asuka, could all of us learn how to do that thing where you just casually threw us off of you with your AT field or something someday?."

Incredibly belated level up gogogogogo

By this point in time Immanuel had already left the confines of his grandfather's store after the two of them collectively realized that not only has the current subject of the conversation had already run its course, but that they really didn't have anything to talk about that wasn't incredibly depressing, inane, or particularly embarrassing. Also his grandfather had 'a hot date' (who as he would point out was still young enough to not be clammy and do you kiss your mother with that mouth young man?) later that evening, which of course meant that he really couldn't afford to waste any more time with awkwardly sitting around here 'with his third or fourth liked nephew'. This is why Immanuel was currently busy with trying to remember exactly which one of his pockets he kept his house keys in while his neighbor's white short furred cat rather affectionately demanded that the bigger cat pay a tithe of edible foodstuffs for the sin of existing.
