  1. Immanuel let out a slight sigh as he sent his drone quickly swooping in to try and find out more about the fortress's layout before he even considered charging in with all five (potentially 6) guns blazing and bringing the entire damned fortress down.
  2. Wao, how lewd

  3. "Or they could have made all of that up just to get you out of their hair for the foreseeable future, I mean you did just drop into their base without any advanced warning after all," Radovan said just before he left the room and headed back to the house they would be living in for the foreseeable future.
  4. Rosalyn then lets out a sigh and takes a picture of the mark present on the tender's necks and she places her kyubey down on the flowerbed to find an excuse to lean down for just long enough to pull out as many of the asphodels she can get in one go and tear the flowers up. "Alright fine, If you don't tell me where the witch is I will personally tear out all of these flowers and give Miles an oversized and full digestive system just so that he can relieve himself on your precious flowers and everyone tending it."
  5. Rosalyn decided to try and get the flower tender's attentions by slowly but surely placing her Miles down on one of their heads, causing the cute little thing to stretch out a bit and make an equally cute 'kyu~' sound and attempt to lie down on top of their head.
  6. Rosalyn gently picked up her Miles and started petting the furry little thing as she waited for a response from the asphodel tenders, and after a few more moments passed she briefly considered dropping the cat/bunny thing on one the tender's heads to get their attention as she continued to ask with, "Hello? Did you hear what I said earlier? I just wanted to know what these flowers were called because they certainly look pleasing to the eye don't they?."
  7. Daniel was on the cusp of finally retiring for an Arceus blessed thirty minutes after he finally managed to shoo away his persistent assistant, and he had just sat down on with a thermos of hot tea, a telenovela that he didn't want anyone to know about, and a late lunch of the kind of bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich that he isn't actually supposed to eat anymore.... when Samantha just had to bang on his office's door and yell out his name as if the fate of the world would be decided on how quickly he would respond with an exasperated, "WHAT IS IT?," as he begrudgingly turned off the television and got up to open the door.
  8. Meanwhile, Rosalyn continued to play the good old 'friendly neighborhood teenager' act by walking up to the asphodil tenders and taking a picture of them and the results of their hard work and attention. She then let out a sligh humming sound before she curiously asked, "What are those called?," with as innocently ignorant of a tone that she could muster.
  9. Meanwhile as Rosalyn was neither the type to stay up late to watch special news bulletins or hang out in abandoned amusement parks to chase after ghosts and murderrs who are hopefully no longer there (as she would find it to be a little too morbid for her tastes). She instead decided to hang out in the regular non abandoned or amusing park to search for the hopefully less dangerous group of suspicious people with the perfectly reasonable assumption (if flawed) that a witch that causes suspicious people to crowd around a park is much less likely to kill her than one that has already upped the stakes by straight up killing someone. Although the possibility that the reason why she has yet to hear about the suspicious people in the park killing anyone is that they never linked the crimes to the park or found the bodies briefly occured to her in the deepest, darkest recesses of her mind.
  10. As the group approaches the floating fortresses Immanuel will quietly thank Rosario before he takes out one of the recon drones and sends it out to get a better look at the four sub fortresses from above and find a nice place where it could swoop down and blow itself up when the group is ready/any soft spots or important targets he could hit to make life a living hell for his opponents. He will also attempt to assemble two railguns and place them on his shoulders while he does so and takes out another railgun for him to hold with his hands. ((Immanuel will wish for additional maneuverability and the ability to phase through things when he wants to do so))
  11. Vlastimir openly looked around the place for a moment and noted the exact direction Jerry was heading before he said, "I think I will explore around this place for a bit more," and put on his best 'tourist exploring the grounds act' as he tried to explore the garden in a way that coincidentally allowed him to follow and track Jerry's movements, partly because he actually wanted to explore the grounds.
  12. Alan was fiddling about with the Sectopod's controls for a moment as Harry made his response known, and after finally getting he damned thing to work again he quickly replied with <"Yes I am, I'll try and get to the breach as soon as possible with my Sectopod but for now I need you to escort the runner until it can deliver the payload safely to the cannon itself, unless you want to end up delivering it by hand that is.">
  13. Alan rapidly requisitioned a spare GREMLIN after he heard Harry's reponse, and he attempted to make some quick modifications on the drone to synch it up with his R.C.C. and allow it to both lift up a 1KG canister and possibly shock it to trigger its explosive payload when ordered to before he designated the drone as 'Runner 1' and ordered it to advance towards Harry's current reported location. <"I'm sending the Runner up to your current location Doctor.">
  14. <"I can't spare any of my drones for what seems to be a suicide run, but I think I can requisition a GREMLIN from the engineering bay, what did you need it for again?">
  15. Alan quickly typed out a response to Harry's inquiry as he waited for the engineers to reinstall the plates they had already removed on the off chance that not doing so might get him geeked later. <"Alan here. I am currently getting my Sectopod up and running for the inevitable in the engineering bay, I could try and help Rachel fix the reactor but that is more than a little outside of my A.O.E."> He then proceeded to yell at any nearby engineers until he could volunteer a satisfactory amount of people for reactor repair duty.
  16. Alan had just finished applying the finishing touches to his recently made drones when he noticed that the alarm had gone off, and he had still hoped that it was all nothing but a glorified systems check when a loud rumble almost sent him tumbling down to the floor as he ran over to where his Sectopod was being kept. It briefly occured to Alan that the Sectopod's internals might have contained a tracker that would have allowed ADVENT to get a scan on them, but he quickly decided that this particular piece of info might be something he should mull over when no one is trying to geek him, which is technically right now as no one is shooting at him yet, but shush.
  17. Vlastimir decided to ignore the odd conversation Midori was having with Hina for a moment as he poured black coffee and condensed milk inside of his tea. He regarded the sudden message he obtained from the internet with about as much suspicion as you would expect from someone who used to be in a certain line of work, and he immediately deleted what seemed to be the least inspired attempt at using social engineering to hack his terminal and asked Orenucu to run scans on itself to try and find out if it had any actual bugs that it could fix; Vlastimir was feeling pretty confident in his own programming ability, as he had written Orenucu.EXE by his lonesome after all (nevermind the fact the NetNavi was technically built off of preexisting code, as said code was never really designed for the task and ended up being nothing but an inspiration for what ended up being his third or fourth best work yet). He also made a mental note to assume that his PET was already potentially compromised, as he just had to read that email didn't he?. He then turned away from his PET to say, "Now now Miss Hina, there should be plenty of time left for us to enjoy cold and dreary London today, as long as we do not get stop by virus again I mean."
  18. Vlastimit smiled before he ordered Orenucu.EXE back to his PET and said, "You welcome". He then simply waited for his order of his authentic street side British cuisine (which he honestly wouldn't have liked all that much if the seller hadn't provided him with tartar sauce) to finish cooking before he bid the cook a frond farewell and idly examined the shopping mall for interesting events before he took a cab or something back to the hotel.

  20. On one hand the almost complete and utter lack of interest among the people I haven't explicitly recruited before hand is depressing, on the other hand @GodofGamingRWBYand @StormLord you both still need to tell me what your ideal 20 card (10 from your booster pack, 10 from the generics taken from any song we have currently rolled up) is before I can accept the two of you.

  23. "Well that's what we're all here for, the only other things I could tell you is that we are supposed to head over to the uptown district to find the world's least well protected entrance that leads to a moving fort equipped with guns big enough to not be much of a threat for anyone who isn't floating around in an aircraft carrier and fight off or sneak our way past waves of an armed militia of mononoke equipped with standard modern day armaments, possibly charmed armor, and an unknown substance that our host has yet to identify, to try and find out more about well... practically everything. As we are lacking an unsurprising amount of information about the fort, the fate of the last squad the card emperor's sent in there, the exact nature of the mysterious substance the mononoke are using, why these 'epithet cards' are important enough to risk losing a whole squad over, and much more importantly." Immanuel took a deep breath before he finally continued with, "'How in the hell do we take this fort down before any more civilians wander in and get shot to death by a trigger happy Mononoke?' And of course there's the equally important question of 'How are we supposed to do that without endangering civilian lives or losing our own, and getting everything else we needed from the fort's heavily guarded insides?'"
  24. Vlastimir had a slight smile on his face when he slowly took out his PET and said, "Maybe Vlastimir can take a look at for you, used to be not known for virusbusting skill back in old day, but still have skill from old day, willing to do it for chip."
  25. "While I wish that we could just dismiss the card emperors wholly and entirely, their recent failure at obtaining the epithet card might actually lead to them trying to put in the effort required to get it the next time they try, and in all honesty I don't want to try and fight off an entire army of highly armed Mononoke and deal with the second coming of the idiots two. Although this does make me wonder, judging by your prior experience with fending off the Card Emperors, would you say that the actually dead Card Emperors who were being puppeted by their almost mindless exoskeletons were any better or any worse at this than usual?."
