  2. Go to the move tutors and teach Gunk Shot to your Greninja, and possibly Tailwind to your Flygon. It's worth noting that Tailwind changes the field, so it's better not to use it right off the bat especially when you have Fire-types with you: the new field renders Fire-types usefulness. On the other hand, that's when Steel-type moves are also powered up, so moves like Iron Head and Flash Cannon come in extremely handy. Your team is overall weak to Earthquake, so you might want to get rid of Granbull fast. You can try teaching Iron Tail to your Lucario - it's definitely not the best
  3. I think I'm getting the hang of how to hunt Nergigante: I just achieved a personal best record of killing one in under 10 minutes.

Congratz! Personally I just killed him once for the reward and then quit again. Gonna wait for the actual release so I can actually earn stuff by hunting.

That's not a bad idea, you don't get exhausted or anything if you wait for the actual release to hunt more. Beta is pretty good for getting used to monsters movesets/ patterns.

Yeah, Monster Hunter is great when you're actively working towards something, but I always tend to burn out whenever I end up hunting something just for the sake of it or for some gear I know I'll pretty much never use.

  4. I just took down my first Nergigante. Third time's the charm, as they say. I on the other hand have to say: I love this monster. Strong and aggressive, but not the point of bs like Apex Rajang.

  5. "Extensive scientific research shows that this is the last image the human brain creates at the point of death. Could this be God himself?"

      REP REP REP

      also i gave u rep :3

  9. My bad, it's actually Old Rod, but you get it by talking to a fisherman in one of the houses by the dock / southern part of Blackview
  10. Iirc you can find Good Rod in Blackview City.
  11. Since Redux seems to be direct continuation from Hardcore, I assumed we would find Exp Share and Lucky Egg early on too. Since that was no longer the case, I got a bit worried tbh. At first my progress was such a slog, but as soon as I got me a second mon, everything just started falling into place. It turned out there was no need for Exp Share or Lucky Egg: 5/6 of my mons reached level 20 with minimal grinding (I had to get one level up for my Bidoof on wild Pokemon, does that even count?) by the time I had defeated Julia. The fact that regular trainers have more and higher lvl mons contribut
  12. Evolve your Ponyta and Tyrunt. Ponyta/Rapidash learns Fire Blast at lvl 41, so with a common candy you can make Rapidash obey you again, and now you have a powerful STAB move at your disposal. I guess Luxray is your best bet against Rotom, I'd save Venusaur for later. In my opinion Togetic isn't particularly useful in this battle, if it manages to deal some chip damage that's good enough. You can Gabite for the same purpose, I think.
  13. @DaveLovesKrave Hard to say, but if you ask me there's going to be a status update instead of actual content.
  14. @Oni-Mushkan You can eventually buy all evolution items in Cellia City. Iirc there's a Leaf Stone hidden in Keneph Jungle, right outside the house that has the path to the pit/ arena
  15. Apparently there's going to be yet another (third) Monster Hunter World Beta. This time it takes place between January 19th - 22nd, so basically it's right before launch. Like the previous Betas, this one's also for PS4 only.

    1. Gentleman Jaggi

      Gentleman Jaggi

Unlike the previous Betas this one will also let us fight Nergigante.

    2. Zargerth

      Zargerth

That's right. I hunted Diablos last time, so I'm looking forward to Nergigante

  16. So, how about a buff for Titania in E18?

    Spoiler

shofu beat her on his first serious attempt. At first he reset due to crit + flinch on his Cofagrigus

scizor is x4 weak to fire so even with dragon type its still x2

    2. Zargerth

      Zargerth

@ArcherEric Exactly! Considering that shofu struggles against most Gym Leaders, Titania is the one who he then defeats on his first try.

@Youmu9 If I understand correctly, Dragon-type is added to Fire-type moves, making Flare Blitz Fire+Dragon-type move and thus neutral on Steel, but still super-effective on Bug.

    3. Youmu9

      Youmu9

Oh, is that how it works? That makes more sense. Anyway, I think Shofu won because he has a lot more steel checks in his team. The other gym leaders he struggled with were hard for him because he could only really rely on a single specific pokemon to win.

  17. Some observations of a Dark Souls & Bloodborne casul:

    1. Kill anything that moves. In fact, kill it even if it doesn't move. What do you mean it was a NPC? Well, tough luck.

    2. >try doing something good

        >everything goes to shit

    3. Meet whateverthehellthatis the boss

    4. You died

    1. Zargerth

      Zargerth

@Alistair If you pay attention to item descriptions, you get some level of understanding. If nothing else, you should realise your task is to kill the Lords / Great Ones / Gods or just some beasts. With that said, they're not easy games to understand lore- or story-wise, since that part of the game is up to the player to discover.

    2. Alistair

      Alistair

@ZargerthThat was a joke based on how the Souls games give you notoriously little information on a plate and the players have to read/research a bunch of things by themselves to get the full picture.

    3. Zargerth

      Zargerth

      It's also partly true

  18. Spork is very different in both atmosphere and design compared to, say, Reborn. Something being overpowered is hardly relevant and thus a moot point.
  19. Since you're French, I though you might like this (also let me know if the translations in the comment section are correct):

They speak French around up to 1 minute 29 seconds mark, the rest is in Finnish.

Edit: this has become a meme of sorts in here.

    1. Zarc

      Zarc

Well , she obviously can't , this is not french xD

Hence the "has become a meme of sorts" (you actually can find the video in Youtube by typing kölkö sauce in the search bar)

  20. @Gaiboi One alternative is to use X items and set up on another mon before Garchomp, the other is to have Trick Room active. That can be a bit of a double-edged sword, since many of her mons are slow as well. If you have any Synthetic Seeds, you can try letting your Dewgong hold one of those, but in this case you need to save Dewgong for Garchomp - the effects of Synthetic Seed wear off if you switch out.
  21. I don't know anything about mac, so I'm afraid I can't help you with that. Yes, you're on the right track.
