Make sure you have a pokesnax with you! Also try to soft reset for Growth if possible, it will help a lot early game and under the sun!

Mamo's typing is not very good defensively but offensively is awesome! But still it has enough bulk to take some hits even some super effective (unless they are field boosted), plus Thick Fat gives you a nice resistance to ice that only Steelix, Camerupt and Whiscash and co. can take neutral damage! That's the reason I recomend I.Crash cause you can survive a SE hit, hit hard and if the opponent survives you got Ice Shard to finish it off. Ice Fang seemed very weak for me and there were many times I needed the rock coverage from Rock Slide (especially against Serra). All in all be ready to get hit super effectively a lot in this monorun cause if the opponents don't have something effective against ground they will definetely have something against your secondary typings! But you have many hard hitters and since most of them get EQ you will destroy many fields with ease (I changed my Camerupt's nickname to F(ield).Destroyer )

All pokemon in reborn has the chance to be shiny. I got my shiny Pichu in my 1st try!

Guys the museum quest gives you one of the gen 5 fossils (tirtuga/archen) not gen 6. To get the Jaw fossil you need to have a Helix fossil in your items and show it to the Order of the Helix in the 7th street! That's after beating Radommus who is the 7th gym leader I think. Now for other team suggestions: Ditch Kriketune. I know it is strong early game but at this point the only thing it can do is Perish Song the last pokemon of a trainer, or used in battles like the Garchomp! You can get a Growlithe from one of the policemen, but this is not the pokemon you are looking for since you got Emboar! But you can breed it and trade its egg with the same policeman to get a Mystery Egg which contains one of 18 different pokemons. Most of them are not accessible anywhere else in this release or are catchable very late into the game. Since most of your team is physical you might need a good special attacker. Mismagius, Dragalge and Nidoqueen/king are all good special attackers that give your team more type diversity! Also many think that Meganium is one of the worst starters but it actually can fit in your team! It is really bulky and can support your team with Light Screen and Reflect. Furthermore you can go for the Grass Pledge/Fire Pledge combo with your Emboar which I found really useful in my last playthrough. Also Crawdaunt has by far better movepool than Kingler especially if you can breed it Dragon Dance and Superpower. And another similar physical water mon is Barbaracle that has one of the best set up move in the form of Shell Smash!

About the totem: the sequence of the mons is set from the begining of your game. For each encounter you need an Ill-fated doll. Before Corey you can get only one IFD and for more you need to beat Radommus. So it depends on your luck if you can get Gollet/Baltoy early. Also the totem can get you a Natu too, but for some reason it only cycles between the other 3 for me :/ If you hate the Wormadam just pick up any mon so you can do the double battles in the factory. I suggest a Trubbish cause it can take some hits to heal Twiggy, even though it breaks the monorun rules. I used both Nidos and was pleased by both of them. I used queen as a tank with Black Sludge and Toxic Spikes/Sludge Wave/Crunch/Earth Power and king as a special attacker with Life Orb and Earth Power/Sludge Wave/Blizzard/Thunderbolt (from e12 breeding) I suggest to breed a Mamo for Rock Slide and Icicle Crash cause I didn't and it definetely felt less stronger... About the water/ground mons, Gastrodon and Seismitaod has the better stats but a shallow movepool. Quagsire and Whiscash has a lot more and better moves but as I said I found the water immunity a must so Whiscash didn't get a lot of time in the team (although it was very helpful) On a side note, After e14 I decided to train a shiny Sandslash with Sand Rush and at this point of the game is really good (dunno about earlier in the game). It even survived a banded Icicle Crash from a Weavile from one trainer in the Grand Hall!
-
You missed Seismitoad, but for me all the other water/ground mons outclass it to everything!
-
You can get female Burmy before Julia which can became Sand Cloak Wormadam. Curse Grotle is very helpful early in the game but later on you won't find many chances to set up. Also I recommend to keep Razor Leaf over Wood Hammer cause the recoil won't help you stall you enemies with Leech Seed (which is a really good tactic since ground mons are slow but bulky). Before Florinia you can now get a male Nidoran instead of Trapinh, although you can manipulate older episode to get both of them. Numel is a must to help with the Pulse Tangrowths, Rini and Fern! Since Mudkip is axed you will definetely need one of the other water/ground mons. Personally I used Whiscash which is the earlier you can get and then swapped it for Quagsire. I run Hydration on Whiskash with Rest/EQ/Zen Headbutt/Aqua Tail and swept Kiki under the rain with the field boosted Zen Headbutt and EQ. But unfortunately Quagsire gives a completely immunity to water moves so I prefered it over the whiskers pokemon (if you have the time to breed recover to it, it would be even better!) Donphan and Diggersby are also good mons you can get before Corey but they don't have strong physical ground moves at that point. I went to prior episode to get an earlier access to move relearner and got them some nice moves to make them a bit more viable! Golem with Sturdy is also one of the best options out there, cause it is guaranteed to survive a hit and then retaliate hard, scoring many KOs. Steelix was usable until Noel but after that Excadril was by far better. Unfortunately Exca was also axed (Ame must hate ground monoruns a lot!) and is now only available through the policeman egg. Krookodile, Mamoswine and Flygon are your fastest options for this run so be sure to use them! (Dugtrio is the fastest but I didn't used it so I can't tell how good it is :/) The good thing is that now you can get a really early access to Golurk and Claydol which is nice, but I haven't tried them so early to know if they are good (the 2 of them defeated Charlotte by their own late game, with one Trick Room and EQ spam!)

If you have the spare time to grind coins for a Slugma in the game corner you will 6-0 Shade with ease. Shell Smash Magcargo is very strong and can set up easily on his Trevenant. I beat him using only Curse Onix for his Gengar and Magcargo who set up twice holding a White Herb and wrecked him hard!

6 generations and we still haven't a biting move for dragons (the 1st thing I think when I see a dragon is that will chomp me to death ) Drake Chomp Type: dragon Category: physical pp: 10 power: 90 accuracy: 90 No added efffect Contact move that gets boosted by Strong Jaw Pulse Punch Type: fighting Category: special pp: 15 power: 75 accuracy: 100 No added effect Text: The user throws a powerful punch that creates a strong air force towards the opponent Non contact move that gets boosted by both Iron Fist and Mega Launcher Flaming Boom Type: fire Category: physical pp: 5 power: 110 accuracy: 75 Effect: Burning pokemon become badly Burned making them loosing 1/6 of their maximum health instead of 1/8 (the badly Burn remains even if the pokemon switch out and in again) Non contact move that hits all adjacent pokemon near the user Solar Heat Type: fire Category: special pp: 20 power: 70 accuracy: 100 10% chance to burn Effect: This attack is super effective against water types. It may also burn the foe Non contact move that can be learned by some fire and a few grass type pokemon Freezing Spot Type: ice Category: other pp: 10 power: -- accuracy: -- Effect: Creates a cold field that boost ice type moves by 20% and doubles the chance of moves to freeze the opponent. Lasts for 5 turns. Vomit Type: poison Category: special pp: 10 power: 100 accuracy: 100 Effect: This attack can be used only if the user is Poisoned. It vomits on the opponent to cure itself and create the same Poison Status on the opponent.

It appears in any rainy day but you have to defeat the 1st gym and have a pokesnax in your bag
-
Well, I started in E12 and finished all the gyms until Samson with the underated team I have in my signature with almost no problems! I deafeted most gym leaders with one try, or needed 2-3 resets at most just to scout the leading poke or because I got bad luck with RNG from the begining. But after 3 episodes and 2 more runs I have to say that I found some dificulties although I knew how to hande field effects and the rosters of most leaders!

I did a few months ago a rock mono with a hacked Larvitar (although I stopped before Agate and don't have time to continue soon). The hardest battle of all would be the 1st, 2nd, 3rd... fuck that shit! All the times you face Fern you will start to pray to every god that mankind knows!!! If you hate Fern a rock mono will make you hate him 100 more times. The only time I think I beat him 1st try was after Noel only because you can burn the field. And don't let me start about Tangrowths... But if you insist to make this monorun I definetely suggest to start with Larvitar (mine had also a -att nature and crappy ivs). It might sound strong but believe me it isn't. It learns only normal, rock and dark type moves, it evolves really late and it gets its 1st ground move (EQ) at lvl 54 right before evolving and losing the STAB (unless you want to keep Larvitar unevolved 46 for some crazy reason). But the only thing you want to have Larvitar is cause it get Sandstorm very early! That means +50% Sp. Def making it your only hope to beat water or grass types that most of them are special. In addition you would prefer to play only on sunny or clear days. I would suggest to make it a duo type like others said, or start with more than 1 starters if you feel it's hard (fighting Fern for 1st time with one poke is almost impossible, unless you flinhhax him to death somehow)

The shape when the ball is charged is a bit wierd. Onix covers it and I can't really tell what exactly bugs me. But the rest of the animation when is thrown is really good!

I see now why the banned more than 2 Batton Pass users! http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/randombattle-271563111

Or use three Sturdy Gravelers with Earthquake. 1st Graveler survives and transforms the field into a cave. 2nd and 3rd Graveler will make the ceiling colapse leading to KOing Arceus! I love manipulating the field effects <3
-
Here is how I beat it in my recent playthrough. Find a a grass pokemon with Leech Seed. It will use Judgment and hope that the crystals will change it to either grass or water type so you can survive. After you seed it let it KO your grass type. Send in any normal type, It will try to use Focus Blast or Judgment. Switch to any ghost type pokemon which will be immune to any of the attack it will try to throw you. Now it will try to use Shadow Ball so change back to your normal type which will be immune. Repeat a lot of times the same steps while it looses its hp from Leech Seed. I t will take a lot of time but it's by far the most funny way to prove that the AI is shit and will never defeat a human

It taught me to always demand my badge right after I kick the *ss of a Gym Leader! Seriously, give me my badge because next time I'm going to be the one who will kill you!!!

LOL! Dat black sprite at the end is awesome!
-
And then they say that Unown is a sh*ty pokemon and you should feel bad to use it! Pff...
-
Hahahahahahaha Unown laughs since 1999!!!
-
Yeah, the bubbles seem to be more gray/silver than blue. It might seem like this cause they are a bit trasparent and the background field behind is black. Will the Ice Ball animation grow bigger with each turn like the official games, or it's hard to do it?

6 turns of concsecutive paralysis. Seems legit! http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/randombattle-268959209

I'm going to speculate what kind of pokemon would become availble at E16. 1st of all, if the azurine lake becomes surfable (which I'm not sure it will yet) we can get wild sea pokemon like tentacool, mantine, staryu and shelder. Also a side quest near the coral ward with an oshawott will probably become available! If we are going underneath the city to find what caused the earthquakes we might get access to wild drilbur again. Since the city will become more organized, the police might have caught the thief from the 7th street and get our prized pokemon back (or at least the side quest will be continued further). Also i want to see a bit more patches of grass in the city, where we can get new pokemon like fletching and some only one time event mons like teddiursa, electrike, igglibuff etc. In additon, some of the 4th gen evolutions like gliscor, electivire etc. will finally become available without older episode manipulation. I don't think that we will see any changes in jasper, malchous or rhodochrine but in later episodes we need a place where we can get some new forest pokemon like scyther, pinsir/heracross treecko and snivy. Next mega stone available prediction Flygonite Audinite (or Diancite/Mewtwonite X/Y for troling!)
