  1. That could be considered but I was more going off of a more efficient run without long breeding chains, using the mon for what it gets with TMs and level up. Plus Tyrunt comes rather late in the game if memory serves correctly, so that'd take even longer to bring it back up to speed.
  2. Happy birthday my friend! I hope you have a fantastic time.
  3. Well now that the second season of Redemption has ended, we thought now would be a good time to host a poll to see which of the leaders were well, the most popular! Feel free to give your thoughts on all of the leaders here as well and have fun!
  4. Not very good at this stuff and will probably end up repeating myself but here we go: I basically repeated myself a bunch but stay cool guys, you've made coming to Reborn worthwhile.

  6. No it does not. Due to life stuff going on, I'm actually going to opt to skip doing the mod for the current version of Reborn as they're already at 57% for the next episode. I do have a little bit of bad news for the next version of this though, due to Gen 7 pokemon not having field sprites, most of them will have to use place holder sprites for the time being.
  7. Extremely impressed that a Darmanitan/Sylveon/Breloom/Pelliper/Swampert/Mamoswine team cleared the league, well done Anstane!
  8. Why does chansey only have 3 moves? Even if you don't know what to run you could run like toxic or anything on it. Mandibuzz seems redundant with Skarmory, Mega Sableye, and Toxapex around as well. Also for stall there is very little toxic here, which doesn't let this team amount to much.
  9. When you have to throw your healer head first into a swarm of enemies because the archer you wanna recruit won't stop dying. Just Fire Emblem things.

This is one of the games without rescue, and nobody available at that point has the rescue spell either.

  10. Happy Birthday man, hope you have a great day!
  11. Happy Birthday Pyrr, hope you have a good time.
  12. I see your point but your tone honestly doesn't help at all, man. Trying to make the point, in a more well, clear way, Normal Flying stall should Oliver decide to run it isn't invincible. It's vulnerable to physical wall breakers like Tyranitar (landorus-therian can only switch into it twice), or outside of Chansey can generally be beaten by the very common Porygon2 if it runs toxic + bolt beam coverage. That being said we will moderate Oliver and will react accordingly if he ends up being too much.
  13. Great work with this episode, had a blast. Hope this doesn't come off wrong, but I'm a bit iffy on the player character designs. Well, not exactly the designs themselves (I think they look quite good) but they kinda clash with the rest of the game's style since they're Gen 4 styled, while every other character is Gen 3 style. EDIT: Eh, disregard this, it's not really an issue.
  14. It's been 6 months since V8 was released? Wow. Anyhow, being on topic, mega updates are almost always beneficial in the long run, it's always cool when revisiting this game to see what's improved from previous episodes.
  15. Now that the first week of the Redemption League's second season has come to a close, we'd like some suggestions and feedback from you all. What have you guys liked so far? What have you not liked? Is there anything that you think that we could do to make this a more enjoyable experience for everyone? Leave and discuss suggestions and feedback in this thread, and we'll get back to you guys about what's being said here.
  16. It's kinda like the Hoshido/Nohr situation in a way (Still quite different, but one super wealthy country vs a very militant country), except one side isn't pure and good while the other side isn't exactly pure evil either. EDIT: If my tone came off as dismissive of your opinion that is definitely not what I meant.
  17. Now don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but here's a neat theory I saw earlier today: https://www.reddit.com/r/fireemblem/comments/5osxdx/echoes_isnt_the_name_of_the_gaiden_remake_its_the/ Basically the idea is that the "Echoes" part of the title is an indication that it's a part of a new sub-series dedicated to remaking the old Fire Emblem games rather than the main series. If this were to be true I'd be ecstatic. Now for what I'd like to see from Shadows of Valentia myself, well it's honestly mostly just map touch ups and expanding on the original story. (I'd mention speeding up the gameplay but this is solved by default due to the 3ds Fire Emblem engine) The original Gaiden's maps were very, simple for lack of a better word because it was an NES game and they were more focusing on the new ideas they were bringing along. Some more objectives too please. The story gets the same pass because it was an NES game and had some interesting ideas. Finally, I'm really looking forward to hearing Gaiden's soundtrack remastered, just listen to this, it's amazing: Link to a playlist of Gaiden's OST just so you guys know the treat we're in for:
  18. Announced today in Nintendo's Fire Emblem direct, we have a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden, the second game in the Fire Emblem Franchise. Released on March 14th, 1992 this sequel to the first Fire Emblem game is a very influential game in the franchise introducing many concepts that the series has revisited such as: The world map, three tier class trees, having various monster classes as enemies, branching promotion paths (executed quite a bit differently than in future games, but they were introduced in Gaiden), multiple parties of player characters, and unbreakable weapons. Yet it's also an odd duck in the franchise with some ideas that have never been revisited, primarily village and dungeon exploration. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia launches on May 19th 2017. Whether you're new to the Fire Emblem franchise, or a long time player, what are your hopes for this entry of the series?
  19. Gaiden remake has me hyped as hell. Just please don't leave the maps as is IS.
