    Just played through the entire Mega Man Zero series for the first time in a few years. It was a good reminder to why it's my favorite Mega Man series.

    Been having fun with Super Mystery Dungeon. Gameplay wise, one of the biggest differences from the explorers games that I've noticed is that you aren't OHKOing any enemies past the tutorial dungeon. A lot of enemies are damage sponges. Also the AI only like using their STAB move until it runs out frustratingly enough, so hopefully that changes later on.

      ^ The Wii U gamecube adapter. To use it properly you also gotta get JoyToKey and the Gamecube USB adapter Driver.

    Going back to these points, I think the new recruitment system allows for a harder game (and a better one, IMO). If you could recruit any Pokemon by just beating them, then it'd be possible to recruit these super powerful Pokemon and break most of the game. (Aside from when they get locked out for story reasons) Also, almost none of the negatives that have been listed are negatives to me. Also making better items cheaper makes the game much more fair to the player whereas inflating item prices would be artificial difficulty.

    Sounds like this game will be a good addition to the Mystery Dungeon series, and from what you've heard it looks like the series has regained it's footing. Really looking forward to it now.

    Kabuto/Kabutops just resonates with me more than the rest of the fossil Pokemon, and more than most Rock and Water types as well.

      TBH I only went in and read the field effects once they got really bullshit (Like Terra's) It's no completely necessary to know, just would be useful.

      If you take about 30 seconds of your time, you can learn the basics of it even while playing the game. In-game Ame gives you advice on how to use the field effects to your advantage over the phone. I mean the only reason I know them by heart is due to modding Hardcore, but the basics are honestly not that hard to figure out. 10 seconds for each field is all it takes.

      In Reborn, if you know what you are doing, you can use a lot of the leaders' own effects to punish them. Case: Flame Burst vs Shelly.

    Been playing some OU on Showdown lately, and man I really do love that Feraligatr finally got Sheer Force released. Shoutouts to Flash Fire Typhlosion and Contrary Serperior as well.

    Twitch Plays Pokemon just started playing Pokemon Colosseum about 4 hours ago, and their already at Pyrite Town. I'm impressed.

    Got the Japanese release of Fire Emblem Fates, and I'm having a good time with it.

    Mega Typhlosion: Typing: Fire/Ground Ability: Adaptability Stats: HP: 78 (+0), Attack: 84 (+0), Defence: 91 (+13), Special Attack: 155 (+46), Special Defence: 91 (+6) Speed: 135 (+35) Moves added to Movepool: Earth Power (By level up) Design: Since Typhlosion is the "Volcano" Pokemon, Fire/Ground would be a suitable type for a Mega Evolution.       Not exactly, but it has weaknesses to 3 of the most potent attacking types. (Fire, Fighting, and Ground) Not to mention it lost some of it's most important resistances (Ghost and Dark) in Gen 6.

    Doing a new playthrough, and I swear Fern's AI when he's your partner is the dumbest AI in the game. It would be in character for him though, as I'd imagine he'd intentionally pick useless moves just to spite the player.

      His Budew uses Growth more than a Kakuna uses Harden. Victoria in Pyrous is worse tho.

    So I finally decided to download Mewtwo in Smash 4. He somehow feels even weaker than he was in Melee.

    The next Fire Emblem game is split into two games... I guess there must be a ton of content in both games to warrant two games instead of a route-split in one.
