  1. What Pokemon do you have? Also, funny enough Fire Types are probably your best bet against Charlotte if you don't have a very fast Rain Dance user. If you want to pick up a Fire Type, I'd especially recommend Houndoom, Arcanine, or Typhlosion due to them all having Flash Fire (Typhlosion especially because Eruption hits both foes in a double battle, you just gotta keep it at high health) which will prove extremely useful as her sun and arena power up Fire Type attacks to the point where if you have Flash Fire and STAB, you can use Fire Type attacks and they will be slightly more powerful than a normally effective attack without the arena effects.
  2. Charlotte having Drought + Solar Beam can be troublesome. (I thought I was gonna sweep her with Swampert) I eventually figured out that I could just sweep her with my own Typhlosion and Honchkrow, due to my Typhlosion (Naive Nature with a Speed IV of 31, and a Special Attack IV of 28) having Flash Fire as it's ability and it has Eruption. (Sun+Flash Fire+Fire Field+Stab+150 Base Power completely negates being not every effective). It OHKO'd all of her Pokemon aside from her second Ninetails which was KO'd by Sucker Punch and Eruption.
  3. Yeah, I was taken by surprise by that as well.
  4. I'm doing a second playthrough, and I just finished the Magma gang quest. (In my previous playthrough I did the Aqua gang quest because I couldn't find the Magma hideout) I felt it was a lot easier than the Aqua gang quest, as Archer was absolutely pathetic (Maxwell isn't that much better, but at least he has the sun for a few turns) with a Remoraid, Sharpedo, and Wartortle. (Maxwell has a Drought Vulpix, Charmeleon, and Houndoom). I just wanna know which version of the gang quest you guys think is the easier of the two.
  5. Panpour makes for a decent cut slave.
  6. I personally think dondon151 makes some really good points with his posts. Grinding up a weak pokemon to a decent level is a fairly mindless experience, and can take forever and a half depending on what point in the game you are. EX: Grinding up a weaker pokemon to a decent level before Julia is not very time consuming, but grinding a weak pokemon to a decent level before Radomus (Can't remember if I'm spelling his name right) takes an extremely long time to do and isn't enjoyable to do due to the relationship of level and experience. I personally (if you disagree with me that's fine, my opinion doesn't make the opinion of anyone who disagrees with me wrong) think that it would be best if wild pokemon (and some events as well, depends on the evolutionary stage as finding a level 38 Mudkip in the wastelands would be silly) would be within a level range (and an evolutionary stage) that would make them at least usable against the trainers in the same area from the get-go. (Not able to plow through opponents, but at least usable so that you can get them up to speed through the story and not have to grind for ages) Regardless of this though, I do really enjoy Pokemon Reborn, and I thank Amethyst for making this game.
  7. This is an incredibly simple minded wish, but I would wish for a happy, fulfilling family life. (Wife, kids, etc)
  8. Ok, cool. I was not aware of that. Also, darn. Looks like I'll just have to settle with Ice Fang whenever Croconaw learns it.
  9. Actually, it is... Just get the Egg, save when it's close to hatching, then check the moves and reset.
  10. Hey, if you could breed me a Totodile (Naive Nature), with Aqua Jet. Ability would preferably be Sheer Force. For IVs, give it Max Attack, Speed, and Special Attack. Also thank you in advance.
  11. Yeah, thankfully I found an episode 9 download, so I could have my Elekid... (Also so I could get the Dusk Stone that is blocked by level design now) I do agree with the rest of this post. Reborn is legitimately challenging and actually makes me think. I do love and hate the level cap at the same time, as I have felt that there were points that if I could just be one or two levels higher than my opponent (Thinking about Serra, or whatever the Ice gym leader's name is, and her Lapras/Froslass) I would just have enough of an edge to get through it without it being a massive struggle, but I also appreciate that because It makes me have to work harder to get my wins.
  12. The first Shiny I ever KO'd instead of capturing was a shiny Zigzagoon in Ruby, when I was about 6 or something like that. You can also add every shiny I have encountered in reborn (I've KO'd about 10 of them, they seem to be much more common in reborn) or roms because I can't transfer them to the main games, so if I don't like the pokemon itself I'm not gonna capture it even if it is shiny. (In the main games I do capture them though)
  13. You should be doing fine with a team like that... (For Greninja I'd recommend seeing the nature changer on 7th street). I won mainly with a level 61 Honchkrow. I burned Hariyama with Typhlosion, then intimated it with a Mightyena that I used to use, then sent out Honchkrow and had it use Tail Wind. Then proceeded to knock out all of his Pokemon in one hit (Including his Conkuldurr) with Wing Attack (My Honchkrow has Moxie for it's ability).
  14. So that's where the Exp. Share is. I thought I had missed it or something of the like, because it feels pretty late into the game to be getting it.
  15. Ok, Level 55 sound good. I've already beaten the trainers, so I guess it's time to go fight some more Tauros/Bouffalant.
  16. I've just finished the Arceus fight (sided with El because there was no way I was winning that fight), and I'm just wondering if this team will be good enough to fight Radomus with. Team: Any suggestions on possible moves I could give my team members, or what levels they should be would be appreciated.
  17. My team was pretty bad at that point (The only 3 Pokemon that would be on my final team were Typhlosion, Murkrow, and Shiftry), but I got pretty lucky with a Swift (Typhlosion) and then Assurance (Murkrow) combo that took out Aya's entire team.
  18. Hey, thanks for the info and friendly reception.
  19. Hey, I'm new to the forums (I just discovered Pokemon Reborn last week), and decided to join instead of just lurking. Just judging off of what little I've seen, but I think I'll enjoy it here. (Also, I hate to be a nuisance but if anyone could tell me what file contains the save file for the game, that'd be cool.)
