Was my latest battle post too god-mody? If so I'll change it. -
{Gym Squad} Thinking on his feet, Seth came up with another plan. It was dangerous, but he knew Giga and Kyte could pull it off. "Giga, set the vines on fire, burn 'em down with Flamethrower and Fire Punch!" As the vines started swarming around Giga and Kyte, the big yellow yeti burned them all to a crisp, one after the other, blasting ones further away with Flamethrower and scorching the ones within melee range with Fire Punch. Vine after vine burst into flames, turning up the heat in the entire Gym. The vines that were forming underneath Kyte were just about to connect and ruin his Hammer Arm, but with a split second to spare, Gigawatt ignited that one too. The vines started to burn and disappear before they even reached the allied Swampert. All of the fires that Giga had started had melted almost all of the ice in the arena, with only a few small patches here and there. With all these fires blazing, the enemy Ice Types would have trouble creating even a simple snowball without it melting, let alone a full-blown Blizzard. The heat would probably only be a minor nuisance to Kyte, due to his Water typing, giving him the perfect chance to clash with the Regice. Seth looked at Jon. "Now's your chance, go for it!"

Trivia Time: In the Red and Blue beta, Eevee was originally named "Eon". Sound familiar? The term "Eeveelutions" was made official after it was used in the strategy guide for Pokemon Stadium 2, and later in a Eevee themed TCG Deck. In the original Pokemon Ranger, all of the Eeveelutions up until the third generation can be captured, but Eevee is nowhere to be found. Eevee is obtainable in Shadows of Almia, though.

{Gym Squad} "Giga, lay down some covering fire, keep 'em busy with Flamethrower!" Wow, he realized how bad of a pun that was... nonetheless Gigawatt kept to Kyte's left side and launched a powerful stream of flames in Abbie's direction to try to take the pressure off from the Blizzard. Occasionally he'd fire another stream at Regice to keep it on its toes. The Flamethrower was successful at lowering the damage from the Blizzards, but not completely. Also in the process, the Flamethrowers were melting small patches of ice here and there. If Jon had a plan, he'd need to put it into action soon, Giga always liked the cold, but not like this...

Trivia Time: Ditto is the only Pokemon with a catch rate of 35, but if it transforms, its catch rate will become that of the transformed Pokemon. Ditto and Manaphy are also the only Pokemon that can breed but are unobtainable through breeding, albeit Ditto's the only one of the two that can't be obtained at level 1. In the original Pokemon Rumble, Transform didn't exist, so the only move Ditto could use was Struggle. And since there was no PP in Rumble, Ditto was the ONLY Pokemon...

Okay, so since you've been away, Skarmory took a lot of hits and was forced to back out. Jon took your place, and him and Adam managed to take out Candice's Auroras, but Lockhart was also forced to back out. Then Seth took Adam's spot, Candice sent out Abomasnow and Mega Evolved it. Regice is still in. Also Carissa and Jory are in the process of getting the first floor conclave card. That's pretty much it.

{Gym Squad} "Not good..." said Seth. He should've expected a Mega at this stage of the game, and that was a good move on Candice's part, Protecting to ensure that Abomasnow pulled it off without instantly getting knocked out. Giga had plenty of moves in his arsenal to check ice types with ease, but this isn't an ordinary battle. Even though losing this wouldn't mean the immediate death of anyone, it'd mean serious trouble if Team Dusk failed. and he was gonna make sure he wouldn't be the one to screw up. Well, since Abomasnow is busy protecting, let's go for the Regi... Seth thought to himself. He surveyed the area, and noticed a good sized boulder falling from Kyte's Rock Slide. He had an idea... "Giga, grab that rock, and chuck it and a Focus Blast at Regice!" Gigawatt sprang into action, despite his size, he was super quick. He jumped up to grab the rock in one hand and quickly charged a Focus Blast in the other. While still in mid-air, Gigawatt spun and launched the rock first and the Focus Blast second, both hurtling straight for the legendary. As Giga landed back on his feet, Seth figured the Regice would be able to counter one, but would have a tough time with the other. He just hoped it'd work.

Seth stood up. "I guess I will." he said to the Gym Leader. He looked at Giga's Ultra Ball and made his way from the bleachers to Jon's side. "'Kay, bud, let's do this!" he said as he released Gigawatt onto the scene. The yellow beast let out a roar and got into a battle stance, much like that of a professional boxer. His happy-go-lucky attitude was replaced with a calm, serious look. Seth looked over at Jon. "Ready when you are."

Trivia Time: In the Red and Blue Beta, Lapras was going to be called "Ness" (loch ness monsta ehehe). Excluding Mega Evolutions and Legendaries, Lapras's base stat total of 535 is the highest of all unevolved Pokemon. Lapras also just happens to be Veronica Taylor's favorite Pokemon. Trivia Time: Magikarp and Gyarados are tied for the lowest leveled Pokemon to be encountered, as well as being tied with Gyarados as the highest leveled Pokemon encountered in the wild. In Platinum, MAgikapr can be found in the Resort Area at levels 1-100, while in Black2 and White2 it can be found in the Nature Preserve at the same levels (both require Super Rods). Magikarp also takes the shortest amount of time to hatch, with six Egg Cycles.

Whaaaat, I had no idea that you could meet Aster. (I gave the ring to Blake, I didn't want Heather to die... even though she probably wasn't going to anyway ) Hope I get to see him again later though...

Trivia Time: Electabuzz is the only member of its evolutionary family that doesn't have some physical relation to an AC Power Unit. Elekid's head is shaped like a power plug and Electivire's back pattern looks like a power socket. Also, a possible goof in Pokemon Stadium is that Electabuzz's model is depicted with six fingers on each hand.

Idea for a Tournament for the server: A Quiz Monotype Tournament? Everyone takes the Type Quiz and makes a team of the type that they got. (if you have a dual type, pick one of the two). Thoughts?

Trivia Time: Jynx (shared with Smoochum) is the only Generation 1 Pokemon that still has a Unique Typing (Ice/Psychic) that isn't part Poison Type. Jynx is also the only Pokemon to have Dry Skin as a Hidden Ability. It also has the longest cry of any Pokemon, at 2.238 seconds long.
