I would write something extensive but I feel like I've contributed so little to the actual community feel of the place since the last one that I may as well copy and paste what I wrote a year ago. So instead of retreading old ground I'll just say this, I've got some fantastic friends here, they all know what I think of them, and I'm really grateful to them for just being themselves.

The number of active people here from the American time region far outstrips the number of active people from the European time region, which in turn is roughly equal to the number of active people from the Eastern time region. Given that it's physically impossible to set a time that benefits everyone, surely the logical thing to do is aim to cater for the largest group isn't it?

The mega was created by fusing the two mega forms together. Even the base form hits like a truck, is faster than Gyarados as a dragon dancer, and has got Tyranitar's bulk with an extra 17 in SpDef, which makes it even tankier in sand. The mega has an utterly absurd 780 bst with significant gains in bulk and an attack stat that is second only to M-Mawile.

Just to clarify on the 3rd question, you meant hacking rare candies into the game to use right? There's generally a pretty even spread across the answers except for that one, in which it's almost exclusively no so I feel like people might have gotten confused. Either that or I got confused and interpreted the question wrong. Or I guess everyone's fine with hacking rare candies into the game.

Probably because most of the time when rules are broken it's an honest mistake, not an attempt at cheating. Slapping down a loss penalty on someone who wasn't trying to cheat the system, and has taken lengths to prepare for the challenge isn't the way to handle this. They at least deserve a shot in my opinion.
