  1. Its after battle iirc. And all mechanics are ORAS mechanics (or should be).
  2. There is no "best" starter, it really depends. There've already been quite a few topics about this, so I won't bother giving reasons, it's all been said before so just try the search feature.
  3. I really don't understand people that like puns.
  4. "Screw it, I can't find a good avatar anyways, it doesn't matter WHAT I pick" Reason I am now a Brick.

      That actually works, thanks Mael!

What's red and bad for your teeth?

  5. If you want 'em all to play, one after another, nope. You can go to the game's folder and play the music from there via some player, but you can't do that in-game.
  6. Time to grab a shovel and dig through the internet for a decent avatar.

Tfw when i thinking just a random anon mistaking the search button.

      Good luck tho.

  7. Just use the search feature and you can find the links. My pinned guide in the Team Showcase section has a link to E12 and I also have a link to E9 lying around somewhere. What exactly do you need form E10/11?
  8. You already made a topic like this though. http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=13682
  9. Nope. If you're asking so you can change natures of more than just 1 thing per day, you can change a nature, move your conputer's date forward by one day and do it again, no matter how many the times. Also, quicksaving and reloading till you get a desirable nature on the thing you'te changing is advised (D = quicksave, F12 = quick reload)
  10. Yeah, haha, that's kinda what I do in this section for almost every team in this section, your's has got an interesting twist to it. Anyways, both Megas and stuff like Volc are most likely still in the far-off future, so I think the stuff I recommended should have you covered, at least until that stuff becomes obtainable. And like I said, Whimsicott with Rain Dance sounds good to me, but you can have anything bulky and/or fast do it, even Ludicolo will do. Anyways, for the pre-E13 stuff, my pinned guide in this section has a download link for E12 and, should you need it, you can PM me to ask how to get a specific move or something. And for Politoed, King's Rocks used to be obtainable via Pick-up in E9, for which I have a link lying around somewhere, one I can find for ya, should you ever change your mind.

    zangoose

That should be all of them iirc. It could be either the weather that's a problem or maybe triggered another event that interferes? I know that I had Zangoose's and Zorua's events active at the same time and couldn't find one at all until I finished up with another. Maybe the Murkrow event also messes with that, check up on that, I guess.
  12. Your best bet would be downloading some older episode and taking the folder from there. Anything past E10.5 has everything, incliding Gen 6 stuff.
  13. My pinned guide in the Team Showcase section has a link.
  14. Dammit. I thought "Once available" meant "it was available for a while in the past but isn't now", not "whenever we get one", since King's Rock was a thing in E9-ish, so Politoed WAS available. *sigh* I'm stupid. Anyways, gonna put something together here, gimme a sec. EDIT: So here we go. First of all, let's see what can be done to improve your current set-up. For Ninetales, I think you'd be much better just sticking with attacks than going for a WoW-Hex combo. If you go back to pre-E13, you can get it Energy Ball. There's also Extrasensory from any episode (and the in-rainbow-20% flinch chance is nice enough). Both have a 10% chance to do stuff, so yeah. With Psychic, Grass and Fire, HP Rock or Ground round out your coverage very well. For Politoed, pre-E13 nets you both Psychic and Ice Beam, as well as (but you can skip it) Scald. Since your team is sorta slow, you could also hit up the 7th Street tutors to get Icy Wind instead of Ice Beam. With Volcarona, HP Grass would be much better than Electric IMO, since it hits both Water and Rock super-effectively. Sure, Electric hits Flying types Super-effectively, but Rock is a much bigger threat to Volcarona. Though I'm really not expecting this thing within the next 3 episodes at least, sadly. Here's an odd one. Honestly, beside Cloud Nine, I don't really see much of a reason to run Altaria? If you wanna stick with it...um...give it Iron Tail for 60% chance of Defense drops? Altaria gets next to nothing good. Maybe Ice Beam from pre-E13. I think you should run Swift Swim over Rain Dish since your team IS rather slow, so having at least one speedy thing (without set-up) is nice. Again, Scald from pre-E13. Your team also isn't that bulky, so Leech Seed stalling wouldn't be terribly effective. Try maybe Brick Break, or Zen Headbutt (Swift Swim+40% flinch chance? sounds good to me). ...eh. Medicham really isn't that good without it's mega. Yeah, hits hard, but it's slow and rather frail. You have no Electric coverage, so I'd run Thunder Punch. For a Fighting STAB, you could also run Force Palm for 60% chances to para. And I'd really recommend Bullet Punch to help with that pitiful speed. Also, maybe Rock Tomb>Rock Slide since Medicham won't be flinching anything anyways and the Speed drops can really help your team out. Your team isn't really dependent on having weather except for setting the field effect, so I really don't think you need Rain Dance on Blastoise. Again, Ice Beam and Scald from pre-E13 are a thing. There's also Dark Pulse, but I'd instead recommend Flash Cannon. For other stuff you can use, I'd have 5 recommendations: Sigilyph, Lickilicky, Roserade, Whimsicott and Heliolisk. Sigilyph's flagship set based around Cosmic Power and Stored Power works really well with the fact that the Rainbow field doubles Cosmic Power's boosts are doubled. That means not only doubled defenses in one turn, but also a 100 BP Stored Power in one go. Next, Air Slash and Charge Beam/Ancient Power are excellent moves to go with SP. Air Slash gives you a 60% chance to flinch the foe, Charge Beam is guaranteed to boost your special attack, and Ancient Power is coverage (but CB>AP by a mile IMO). Tailwind is also an option to support the team. Since status moves are incredibly uncommon in Reborn, you can run Tinted Lens for "coverage" instead of the common Magic Guard, though there is a Life Orb in the game (not 100% legally, but hey). Lickilicky not only gets Cloud Nine, it gets stupidly good coverage. It's insane how many different moves this thing can run, the majority of which have some added effects (E12 is this thing's best friend). Of course, Normal moves are amplified in that field as well and Body Slam also has a natural 30% chance to para stuff. You can also have it go the defensive route with those boosted Wishes, though there's no need for defensive things in-game. Roserade gets it's Hidden Power boosted not only by the field, but also by Technician, giving you a 135 BP Hidden Power. And it also gets Weather Ball, so yeah. Whimsicott has that priority with Rain Dance/Sunny Day, boosted Moonblast, Memento to help Volcarona's or Lickilicky's set-up and Solar Beam STAB. Aaaaaand Heliolisk is pretty obvious considering the fact that you have a Ninetales around (Solar Power). Thunderbolt, HP Ice, Grass Knot and Charge Beam/Dark Pulse are all good moves for it.
  15. I'd love to give my opinion, but all I see is: What. WHERE?! And when and how?
  16. I got 12-ish rep in one night and the "Latest Visitors" tab shows Vinny? Now that's an odd coincidence.

Yeah, I thought you'd appreciate a bit of green in your life.

  17. Oooookay? No mega evolutions were mentioned in this post and megas are currently unavailable in the game anyways. I think you may have posted in the wrong topic?
  18. So since I've had semi-frequent problems with Insomnia, I've been thinking about sleeping pills. Any reasons I shouldn't try 'em, or anything particular I should pay watch out for?

      maybe consider trying hypnosis?

Spend the last couple hours before going to bed away from screens, try reading in bed, go see a doctor, and better keep off pills that mess up with your brain functions alltogether.

First things first, definitely consult a doctor.

I'd say the main concerns about sleeping meds is that they can be addictive, and it's usually recommended to not use them over longer periods of time. Personally I've been encouraged to try without meds first.

  19. Even HP Bug is still coverage, it's something. And don't look at Gen 5 TM moves, E12 had Gen 6 TM moves, but Gen 5 breeding mechanics. You could go back to E10 or earlier to breed Gen 5 TM moves, but there's not much useful stuff back there. And for Eruption, it's still way stronger than Flamethrower at full health, and Typhlosion has so little bulk, it wouldn't be worth it to run Flamethrower over Eruption.
  20. You just have to have them for some events, for others, you don't. It's just like needing a Soul Candle for a Pumpkaboo, just that PokeSnax are usable for more events. Nope, but waaay later on, you get a place that sells some item for 5k each that lets you re-mine an already mined rock, but it only works once per already-mined rock. Same way it works in any other game? How EVs work wasn't changed in any way from the main games, if that's what you mean. There's also this.
  21. Welp, if coverage is what you're looking for, there's Hidden Power, that move that can be anything you'd ever want it to be (except for "stronger than 60 BP"). Anyways, you can take this and this and see what you'd like the most. With Fire and Psychic, Electric, Grass or Fighting hit the most things super-effectively, but something like Rock or Ground also gives good numbers...there's also the fact that Typhlosion cannot set up in any way, so you don't even have to go for perfect coverage, just go with something your team is lacking. And yes, definitely get Eruption, it's one of the main reasons to use Typhlosion for most people.
  22. 1. When stuff is added, it's added when it makes sense for it to be added, so a ton of Bug- and Grass-types were added with Aventurine Forrest, Poison-types in the Wasteland, etc, etc. As for Gyarados and friends, they were put in the game, found to be too good for when they were available and thus removed. For example, Starly. That thing was available either immediately before or after Florinia. In the end, Staraptor was deemed so good that it was moved to the beginning-ish of E13. With Gyarados itself, not only did it have way too good stats for when it was available, it also had Dragon Dance and Moxie, completely sweeping the early game and still doing a ton of work late-game. 2. Beside for event-specific items you'd only need once anyways, all is supposed to be purchasable at some point, except for mining stuff maybe. Even Link Stones and whatnot can be bought if you mess around with going back to previous episodes, but will be "legally" buy-able as soon as we get back to Reborn city plot-wise. 3. For new starters, start over I guess? I was around before Gen 6 starters were added and there was no option for people to "trade in" their old starter for a new one. As for how you update the game, just wait for the next update and download that. All episodes that are released are released along with all the previous ones, so what you have now are episodes 1-14 all in one. Save files don't have to be moved, ever, unless you're on a Mac, for which a guide exists somewhere around here.
  23. Hello there, random person I totally haven't already met on the Showdown server or anything like that If you really wanna get technical, the shiny rate in regular games is 8/65535, while Reborn's is 700/65535. So yeah, like ~1.07%
  24. In general, yes. But if we're talking about going back to an earlier episode for TM move breeding (for which the latest usable Episode is actually E13) then it depends on whether the Power Items already were in the game or not. I think those were only added later, so they should have no effect. But I could be wrong since I never mess with IVs, so put one on, fight something and see of they work, I guess? Btw, the guide Derpy Simon linked also has a link to E12 in it.
