Basil - Sky Pillar Scuttling through the winding streets of the enclave took the large scorpion a while. He wasn't as familiar with it as most of the other Pokemon that had taken residence there, being a recent arrival to the island. "Ugh...why does my house have to be so darn far away...." Basil groaned as he walked down the road before turning around, finally seeing the little area that the injured had come to rest after having returned from Johto. Looking around the area, the Drapion attempted to find the familiar shape of the little Spoink that had started living with him, though he was having little luck doing so. "Where could that critter be..." Basil muttered as he scoured the area with his one good eye.

"Damn. At least that's one of them out of the way for now...." Rafael sighed as he looked at the approaching flaming spheres. After what he just did, he wouldn't be able to run out of the way completely, especially since there were two of them coming at decent speeds. Accepting that he was not going to come out of this one unscathed, Rafael ran towards the right of one though it burnt a part of his brown jacket and cause a slight burn on his left arm. "Tsk. Note to self, do not piss her off..or anyone here, though the threat of being burned alive is definitely higher on my priority list at the moment." He muttered before looking at Rame as his right hand clenched around his left for a few seconds before throwing the knife in his hand towards the white haired girl. It wasn't as fast as it could've been if he hadn't gotten burned on his left arm though.

Rafael looked towards the approaching sphere of energy that was dipping down slowly, probably attempting to stop him from moving before following up. To dodge it, he simply jumped to the left before moving a bit further into that direction. "Well, whoever said good things come to those who wait must've been a very lucky person..." Rafael muttered as he looked at the person directly to his left only to notice that he felt the same distinct feeling he felt when near any other magnetic object, as well as the fact that there was a decently sized sphere made of flames hurtling towards his soon to be target. "Wouldn't exactly be fair if I double-teamed him even if this is a free for all...but I think I'll kill two birds with one stone." Rafael said before stretching his arm out and focusing on Jev, before lifting him and moving him out of the way of the fire ball and with a lot of effort sending him flying towards Rame before releasing his control over the boy. "Not doing that again any time soon...." The black haired teen said as he breathed out heavily and took a few steps back.

Eh, while it is the E4, we kinda already know what the battles are like. I was more so watching this for what Blue was feeling/thinking fighting the E4, because this is meant to be from his perspective. And I got what I wanted, a lot of it. The voice acting could've been better, it was kinda chunky tbh. But that might be because they tried to quote the games a bit too much here.

Rafael took a few moments to walk where he was supposed to stand, thinking on what to do in the upcoming match. It wouldn't do to go in recklessly and get himself taken out right away. He'd bide his time, after all, good things come to those who wait. He spun the blades in his hand, as he looked around him. "Well then, whenever y'all ready, I guess." Rafael asked glancing at the other 5 participants of their little spar. There'd be no turning back after this, well, there wasn't any in the first place.

The lack of full battles was to be expected tbh, however, I absolutely loved what they did show. Alakazam destroying Lapras? Amazing. The intro with the Elite Four was absolutely glorious too. Lorelei and Bruno were kinda eh but Agatha and Lance's sections more than made up for it. Gengar's entrance was pretty well animated and Agatha herself was horrifying. Fun fact, the pose Lance struck before Dragonite and Blastoise went for close combat was his GSC pose. In the end, I found it to be a pretty good showing of how Blue must have felt challenging the E4 and his anxiousness while waiting for Red. He was sitting there, bored, twirling his Poke Ball, knowing that eventually, Red would come. 9/10. It was wonderful.

So, this morning when I woke up, I saw your post in my thread. I was going to respond later today, but then I saw this thread and decided to just put it all here instead. You're honestly one of the coolest people I've ever met, whether it be here on Reborn or in real life. The last 2~ years (Well, more like a year and a half to be honest...)of knowing you have been nothing short of amazing. You've had quite the effect on a lot of people around here, and I'll say that quite the majority of those have been for the better. Really glad you stayed around here man. Happy 3 year anniversary, here's to many more to come.

Having spent most of the Plane trip here completely and utterly bored, Rafael looked at the agitated lady in a mixture of surprise and joy. At least they were getting straight into it, instead of spending a lot of time wasting away in some room before doing anything. Seems like they'd have to make a decent early showing, something he was quite capable of doing. Especially here, especially in a forest like this. "Let's see here....." He shifted around a bit, discreetly grabbing one of his knives from his pouch, he'd rather be able to get started quickly than have to fumble around for one of them. Hearing the man that was meant to watch over them while they fought explain the rules more clearly. No lethal force would mean he'd have to be a lot more careful...a lot more. Then again, all the others here probably had their own crazy Lumen powers, so he doubted he'd be able to get anywhere close to killing them, which he didn't even have a reason to want. That loud one -might- be a bit much to deal with, but all people have their quirks, it seemed. "If no one else is gunna volunteer, I'd be up for it, I guess." The black haired teenager moved forward a bit to show himself to the man in charge, the lady called him Tempus or something.

4th of March, 2014. That's when I stumbled across the Reborn forums. I'd already downloaded and played the game via Pokecommunity. Honestly didn't think I'd say around here for too long. Maybe bout a week or so. I already knew where I could find the game anyways. Just needed to ask a few questions. And yet, I did. Quite honestly it was one of the best things I've ever done. I don't know what it was about the community, whether it was the fact that I could actually talk to others about the game or something else that kept me around, but it did. It was quite surprising, but it happened and I'm very happy it did. After all, it made me end up growing and maturing a lot, and I've met people that are absolutely amazing. One thing I realised while reflecting on the past two years is how immature I was, which is to be expected. I've made a lot of mistakes, some beneficial in the long run, others quite detrimental. One of which is putting my age down as 14 when I joined. It's something I never really paid attention to, just putting it down as a side note, during a time when I was still unsure of whether I was going to stay. I came here on the 4th of March, 2014. 2 years, 6 months and 16 days ago. When I joined, I was 12 years old. Why you might ask? Well as I said, until recently, I didn't really pay attention to that little detail I put in, acting as I would normally and being myself. Only recently did I really notice how wrong it was for me to lie about such a simple detail, after all, this community is built upon mutual trust. So, yeah, I'm done with not being entirely honest about something as simple as that. Was it a dumb thing to do in the first place? Definitely. It's something I really regret and I should've come out with much sooner. So here's a small reintroduction, I guess. I'm Azery. I'm 14 years old, turning 15 in November. I live in North London, England. I enjoy long walks on the beach and destroying the world...wait....what? Jokes aside, I enjoy playing video games though my current collection is kinda mediocre, something I’m planning to fix, Swimming and playing Basketball, on the rare opportunities that I get to do so. That doesn't seem like much of an option now, however. If you ever do though, know that you're a really amazing person. Well spoken, you know what you're talking about most of the time and because of that, I'm usually very interested in seeing you post on any kind of topic really. Godspeed mate. Dobby: I don't know what's so interesting about you, but there's something though I can't exactly pinpoint it. Is it the high quality of your writing, the wit, your antics or something else? Heck if I know, but I do know that you're, like most of the other people on this list, an extremely cool person. I never really get the chance to talk to you all that much, probably attributed to you being somewhat of lurker while we don't share too many interests. Nova: I envy your skills in spriting honestly. I'm half decent but my lack of constant practice and alright at best shading is probably only a few of my problems at it. That aside, talking to you constantly while we were working on Se7en is some of the most fun I've had on here. We had quite a few crazy ideas, didn't we? It's nice to know you guys are working on something new though, hope it works out great for you guys. Zim: Another person I feel will likely never see this. You're a really cool dude, your artwork is amazing, especially the attention to detail you have, which was lost a bit in the vectors tbh but I’ve got no right to be nitpicking when I’m nowhere near as good as you are. Either way, working on Se7en with you was great my dude. Hope that everything works out fine for you in life, best of luck man. Ody: I’ve got no idea how we started talking, though it’s started to be a lot more infrequent as of recent since AR is uh kinda ded atm. In that short 3~ month timespan I’ve learned 3 key things about you. 1. You’re lewd as all hell. 2. You’ve got a slight case of bald. 3. You’re a really cool person. No matter what I seem to be talking to you about, you’re usually super chill about it. It’s something I really admire. That’s about it, I guess. I’ve been trying to rewrite the appreciation section for the last 10 days and it got wiped a few days ago because forums are shit…also since, I’m kinda bad at expressing my thoughts about people effectively and this is only about half of the amount of people I wanted to have on here.
