    I don't think it's as much of 'Guns don't exist' instead of they're simply unnecessary when you have freaking Pokemon around. I mean, you've got fire breathing, electrocuting and Ice blasting creatures at your service here.

    Remember the last time Ash and his mom went on vacation? BW happened. I hope to god this isn't the same but it's looking pretty likely.

    Check the lore behind Gen 1. No one knows Giovanni was the Viridian City Gym Leader, it's strange yeah, but it's part of the 'plot twist' "The mysterious Viridian City Gym was being run by none other than the leader of Team Rocket himself." I'm sure Giovanni used some form of forged documents or something to become the Gym Leader, which is stated to have been a long time ago. By the way, this is following FRLG canon. Origins followed RBY canon. In the former, Giovanni doesn't reform, while in the later, he does. It's 2 interpretations on it, I guess. They wouldn't even need guns Maelstrom, I mean, they've got freaking Pokemon.... I'd say it could've been Shock batons(I think that's what their called?)but then again, Giovanni is a ground type trainer...

    I feel like episode 1 was just a mix up of Pikachu going everywhere, I guess? Felt more like another trailer more than anything. Absolutely adored the Sinnoh and Unova bits though. Probopass looked horrifying to fight. 3 Lasers and a head tryna crush you? Dayum. Meanwhile Regigigas was an absolute MONSTER. Just threw Probopass aside before blasting Pikachu away. Episode 2 is glorious, easily an 8/10. It suffers from the video length so much tbh. If they had more time and added the Silver and Giovanni scene..oh my lord... I feel like if every episode is similar in effectiveness as episode 2, I'm going to absolutely adore this. Well, more than I do right now. Edit: only thing I noticed that was weird was that both were in 360p. Didn't make much of a difference honestly, but it's strange considering most other videos on the Pokemon channels are 720p+.

    The first episode was fast paced action, and encompassed basically every Red scene from the trailer, which is nice. They got him out of the way nice and quick, though Pikachu was weird. This brings up my hopes for there being different protags up. The second episode though, god I loved that. The SWAT team swarming the Viridian Gym, Magnemite destroying the front doors, them rushing into the gym and destroying basically every portion of it trying to find Giovanni only to realise he'd already left. Not only that, but Looker was on the front cover alongside Giovanni, I'm expecting both to have another appearance. It's exactly what was advertised; A look at what happens from other people's perspectives which in this case, was Pikachu and Looker.

    Seems to be more of an every other gen thing. He got wiped in AG and then again in BW. Not -too- sure if S/M is a reset like BW was or a smooth sail from XYZ. I'm still betting that they're talking about Alolan Exeggutor or Turtornator when they mention the dragon type by the way.

    Or Turtonator's typing....why is it dragon again? But yeah. I'm giving it a chance. I was very reluctant to even start watching XYZ after BW but I did in the end, and never regretted it. Here's to hoping S/M is even a fraction of how good XY was.

    He's still traumatised from XYZ obviously. Nearly got killed by a Garchomp in the first 5 episodes. Got his ass handed to him by Mega Zard X 3 times. Zygarde.

    'Kahunas' Nonononono. The Kahunas are guys like Hala. The trial captains are the ones in skewl, it seems. It -kinda- makes sense, considering they're all young with the exception of the Fire guy...

    I'll give it 5-10 episodes. If it doesn't deliver to me like XY's first 10 did, I'm out until Guzma comes in.

    All I'm going to say is: Calm down. You uh, do realise the Anime itself is mainly marketed towards kids, correct? Look at XYZ, it did phenomenally overseas, here in the west, but in Japan? It was a disaster. Ratings dropped quite heavily. They might be trying to attract their younger and main watchers once more, instead of the older ones here. Which might be their plan with the anime; one series for the older fans, the other for the younger ones, that is if we're looking at it pattern wise. Besides, Generations itself is targeted for solely the older audience. Also, it's not the animation, if you look at it, it's the same quality, only a different style, which is fine really. You're really overreacting way too much here. Could it be better? I guess. But honestly, it actually looks pretty good compared to the poster. Am I going to watch it as I did XYZ? No, probably not. Do I think it's worse than BW already? Fuck no. BW was a disaster. S/M is looking to be better than that, though being better than BW isn't exactly high praise.

    1 hour special was amazing. Team Flare's Arc and Lysandre himself was done SO MUCH Justice here. Honestly, Lysandre went from a bad Cyrus-clone, to an actually good villain. Then I see the S/M anime trailer and my hope for it just being a bad poster is dashed. IT'S LITERALLY, JUST ASH THEY FUCKED OVER DESIGN WISE. Not Pikachu, not ANYONE else. Just Ash. The animation is kinda sub-par too since the studio doing it is different from the one that did XYZ, who are apparently working on another project(Which might or might not be Generations.) After the horrifying thing that was BW's Anime, I'm not looking forward to this....

    I kinda feel like some guy at Game Freak got a chance to test the waters; like they've been doing for Gen 7 in general. See how the fandom would respond to something like this. That's probably why they're shorts. It'll probably be all action and interesting tidbits for us. Who knows, if this is well received enough, there might, no THERE WILL be more.

    IDK, Game Freak have shown that they're listening somewhat this Generation, who knows, maybe we'll get 18 episodes of this whenever a new game releases, or they might just make more and spread it out. Who knows. All I know is, this has been in the works for a LONG time, they've been getting this ready and refined to finish off the 20th anniversary, I'm sure of it.

    Honestly, I don't see why people are raging about it being apparently 'all about Red', when it's going to be mainly about the perspectives of other characters. Red and the other Protags are literally blank slates, so it wouldn't make too much of a difference at all. I can see them making cameos, yes, but this will not be about the protagonists for the most part.

    Pokemon Generations! A mix of perspectives from multiple characters from the Pokemon Series, ranging from Red, to Blue, to N, to Looker and even to Lance! Get hyped guys because the first 2 episodes are dropping THIS FRIDAY! My thoughts: This is fucking amazing. It's pandering to the older fans of the series A LOT. Fucking SWAT teams with Machamps? DOPE AF YO.
