  1. Eva Eva nodded out of habit before realizing it was basically pointless. "Yes. I was shown a recording that explained what was happening before my avatar materialized here." She explained.
  2. Erkandserra is my favorite FE character.

  3. I almost always go through the post-story, for me it's still part of the game (thus, post-story) and I haven't completed the game until I've finished it. The only exceptions are New Game+ setups, for which it depends on replay value, or when the post-story is just a challenge arena of some kind, in which case it heavily depends on whether or not I enjoy the challenges. I guess I just hate leaving things unfinished... despite all the games, shows, comics, and books I am currently halfway through and ignoring. Maybe that's not why... IDK EDIT: For the record, there being more story related content after the main story of the game is over doesn't means it's not after the main story. Frankly if there's still primary plot points being cleared after the game has supposedly ended, the game hasn't ended. (Don't mind me, I just felt a need to preemptively defend my choice of terminology without anyone targeting it.)
  4. I've got a big list RN Finishing up the main story of Xenoblade X, looking towards actually understanding builds for the post-story content. Also specifically avoiding it today because I've been playing >10 hours a day all week. Starting TMS#FE, couple hours in. Replaying FE: Rekka no Ken because I got it on virtual console and it's my favorite FE. Just finished the extended tutorial (Lyn's campaign). Starting OG Xenoblade, about an hour and a half in. Theoretically finishing Neptunia U but it's been months since I actually played it. >_< Strife has been rejuvenated at least temporarily, so I'm playing that while it's alive-ish. Just finished Bayonetta 2 a week and a half or so ago. And I'm always playing FTL or Flamebreak to kill time.
  5. Get a usb compatible controller, map controls to emulator controls. Way more comfortable. Alternatively, remap emulator controls to be more comfortable on a keyboard, perhaps something similar to Reborn's, or some other fangame's, control scheme. Personal favorite free games (discounting multiplayer focus) are Khimera: Destroy All Monster Girls, Sunrider, Crush Crush, and Floating Point. No idea if any of those would interest you but they're at least some suggestions. Also, what three things am I not saying? Your addendum is detached from the rest of your post and its subject is unclear.
  6. (OOC: Pawning Sheriff off on Sakuya, GoG. Nibiiro is being fed cookies at Saki's, Sakuya was the easiest choice for a quick redirect. Just post assuming Sheriff described Nibiiro) Sheriff and Sakuya Sheriff had a devil of a time with his search. Near none of the other residents would talk to him, and those that would had no knowledge of the girl he described. It was beginning to seem like a lost cause when he happened upon a maid in blue...
  7. Eva Thinking words at someone was harder than it might seem. The tall avatar seemed to make it simply enough, but Eva wasn't used to it at all, so it took her several moments of jumbled thoughts before a clear message rang out. Ironically, this message wasn't exactly anything new. "Hi?"
  8. Eva Proditor could sense confusion coming from Eva, but no proper attempt to communicate. She nodded in an attempt to convey that telepathy would be better than speaking, and then attempted to clarify her own question. "Eva, how." She asked, stressing her name. Hopefully this time the tall avatar would understand that she was unfamiliar with his method of communication and required a tutorial.
  9. ...I just spent three hours composing a PM and then I hit send and it told me the message field was required and gave me a blank PM page. :c It seems the entirety of the text was sent to the aether. FML.

  10. Suguri SP Suguri smiled, though it was laced with a hint of grimace, at her new ally's response. "I hope so." Her tone sounded lonely, "I think proper introductions are in order. My name is Suguri."
  11. Rodin The inside of the Gates of Hell was fully furnished with no hint of the dull stone that populated the rest of the town. The proprietor walked over and stood behind a wooden bar with a row of stools in front of it. The wall behind him was largely hidden by a multitude of glass bottles, each containing a different alchoholic beverage. "What'll it be?" The man asked Terumi as the latter took his place at the bar.
  12. Nessie For much the same reason as Bridgett, quiet, the exhausted Nessie wandered into the War Room. Excalibur dragged behind her, it's tip only just barely avoiding scraping the ground. Spying the rooms other occupants, she considered leaving. But she didn't have the energy left to search out another place of solitude in which to regain her energy. As such, she silently walked to another corner away from Bridgett's and sat down. Resting her back against the wall and her sword across her crossed legs, she shut her eyes and attempted to rest.
  13. Eva Eva jumped backwards half a step, her face contorting in surprise at the voice in her head. Were she capable of it, a startled "Bwah!" would have burst from her lips. As it was her mouth just hung open with no sound following. Eva quickly recovered from the shock. She shot a glance in the direction the tall avatar had turned its head, spotting another tall avatar that was even more outlandish than the first. She smiled and waved at the outlandish avatar. "Hi." Her tone was cheerful as always. Eva then returned her attention to the tall avatar. "How?" She asked, her face awash with confusion.
  14. Eva Eva nodded emphatically. "Hi, Eva." She introduced herself. She hoped that the tall avatar would catch on quickly to her speech troubles. Sergey had only hard-coded a few words into her, yet it took most people she met several minutes--sometimes even hours--to figure out that her speech synchronization was broken. It was a common source of frustration for her. The sooner the tall avatar understood her limitations, the better. And while she was thinking about limitations, her mind considered the fact that there was water about. Instant matter and water didn't mix well. since she wasn't in Crossworlds, she couldn't be certain her avatar would respawn ashore if she accidentally fell in, or respawn at all if it was destroyed. she would need to be extra-careful, especially around water.
  15. Eva The girl was excited. Finally, she had some free time. And with free time came Crossworlds, easily the greatest game ever created. Even the glitch with her avatar's speech synchronization wasn't enough to mute her excitement tonight, because tonight she was finally going to take on Zir'vitar Temple. Her group of friends had been gearing up to challenge the dungeon all week and tonight was when they were finally putting all that gear to use. Giddily, she logged into the game. She felt the familiar sensation of instant matter forming her avatar, each of her senses slowly coming online. Her sight came last, her mind filled with anticipation for the excited looks her friends would share. But when she opened her eyes, she didn't find herself in CrossWorlds, or at least not any part of it she recognized. A recording played for her, but it didn't make any sense. This had to be some kind of special event or something, right? But where did all this multiverse stuff come from, what did it have to do with CrossWorlds? Towards the end, the reality of it all began to sink in. She wasn't conquering a dungeon with her friends tonight. But why her? There were much better players in CrossWorlds that would be far more suited to the task than she. The only thing special about her was that her avatar couldn't talk right, surely that couldn't be what the multiverse wanted from her? Maybe it mistook her for some other broken avatar that was actually the most important player in the whole game. Whatever the case, she was here now, and it sounded like she was stuck. Her avatar dematerialized for a moment, reappearing in a dreary place next to a strange tall avatar. There were a bunch of wrecked boats nearby, drawing her attention momentarily. No, one thing at a time. This must have been the first place the multiverse doctor wanted her to help fix. It definitely needed a lot of fixing. It seemed likely the tall avatar was also here to fix things, so she decided to introduce herself. Although this wasn't the game, she was still using her speech-impaired avatar, meaning she had no way to give her proper name. It seemed she would be stuck as Eva for the foreseeable future. Eva approached the tall avatar, announcing her presence by cheerfully calling out the first word Sergey had hard-coded into her avatar, "Hi!"

Personally, I'm happy with the Wii U just for the gamepad screen switching thing letting me carry games around the house. Despite the gimmicks, the gamepad really was a good idea. I'm happy that Nintendo went even further down that road with the Switch.

Now if you want to talk real failure we should discuss the New 3DS, lol.

yup... I mean it was not unsurprising that they wanted to improve the already amazing 3ds. that's just harder than it seems (had that thing not had exclusives I'd have the Xenoblade remake now!)

  19. They didn't specify JRPG, just RPG. You can infer that they take interest in JRPGs from the fact that they like FF and therefore JRPGs make good suggestions. But at no point have they specified or corrected that they are exclusively interested in JRPGs. And without that specification, RPG becomes a very broad category very fast. Although I confess I question how Roguelites came up.
  20. Considering you're looking at FF things, you'll probably have zero interest in my suggestions but I'm gonna suggest them anyways because it can't hurt. It's precisely $20 ATM but sales will be soon, so have my favorite game: http://store.steampowered.com/app/368340/CrossCode/ It's early access but, imo, already worth and updates regularly. There's also the Hyperdimension Neptunia series which I think is great, but leans more expensive. Also the first two are eh but the later ones lean a lot on previous material so they're tough to skip. If you're fine with that, try jumping in at Hyperdevotion Noire (although I forget the pricetag on that so it might be >$20), it's not exactly the typical Nep game but it's the most fun imo. I also think Cosmic Star Heroine is a good game, but I've only watched gameplay and don't own it myself yet. I'm told it's similar to Chrono Trigger, but I've never played Chrono Trigger either so... Anyways, it's $15. Side mentions for Moekuri and Rabi-Ribi which are both adorable but pretty irrelevant here.
  21. All four current sheets are acceptable. Won't officially be accepting until Line/Modifier revisions are up and people have gotten to read through them (I don't expect it to matter, but I want to be certain). On that note, I'll exist again tomorrow so expect said revisions to happen tomorrow.
