How have Mega Evolutions and Primal Evolutions Changed Pokemon?

This so much. I'd take evolutions over Mega's anyday. I like the fact that Megas can make some pokémons more useful, but you know, there's always the bad part. For example, if you see an opponent with a Pidgeot or an Beedril in OU, the only reason for that is because they're carrying a Mega of said pokémons. Predictable. Megas have their perks, but I would have preferred direct evolutions anyday~ I also think that we're going to a direction where every single fully evolved pokémon might have a Mega in the future. and pikachu cuz anime -

Let me see if I can suggest a chann-- Oh, pokémon recommendations. idk, look for things that compliment Fire/Fighting well. And status moves. Always get dem status moves. If you're only looking to have fun or a good time, why don't you think about one of your favorite pokémons to put there (Assuming it's available, of course). Or maybe just add the next wild/event pokémon you ran into? Oh well, Crobat comes to mind to give some extra coverage to your team in the future. Or maybe you could head back to the Obsidia Slums and catch a Hoppip. Jumpluff is pretty awesome, and Az would agree with me, I'm sure~ Anyway, since you don't really care about a perfect team, there's just too many things that I can recommend. I would suggest you look for a physical attacker, since most of Seismitoad's level up moves are all special. I like how you're just trying to have fun with the game. Those are the best runs \o/
