Definitely a harsh comment, but I have to agree. It seems to me that you have a lot to learn,KingMurdoc... Hopefully you have found the right place to improve, there are people around here, including myself, who can give you a lot of tips to get into the competitive mentality... But harsh words like those are not going to help, Secundum, even if you are 100% right...

Seriously considering the 3DS one: I bought a 2DS to be able to play Pokemon X/Y, so yeah, while I am at it I might as well get some new games, and the Persona series has always fascinated me...

Rotom is not a legend? O.o I swear I am finding it out right now... Now many new horizons are opened for Rotom's breeding sheanigans! Where do you change its formes in Gen 6?

I am always happy to help newcomers by giving them insights on battle strategies, specially when it comes to Volt-Turn, which is one of my fav strategies ever. Sadly, such a team would be very difficult to re-create in a game environment, because Rotom-W is the most important Pokemon of any Volt-Turn team, and well, in a game you cannot rely on a legendary because, given that it cannot breed, you have no control on IVs and Nature... However, I do believe that a pure Volt-Turn team is possible both on the sim and in a game. It's 2:30 AM here, so I definitely need to sleep, and during weekends I have problems to get online: however, starting on monday I'll be happy to provide some more help if you are interested in it. Just PM me if you want, and I'll reply as soon as I have some free time (I am in a very busy period of my life, but I'll do my best).

I've noticed it's kinda my turn as far as Squad 1 is concerned... I will post on monday tho, now I need to get to sleep and then weekend will come!

Here is the updated list of Pokemon I have bred, and I'd be willing to trade: - 11 Venipedes with Speed Boost and at least two perfect IVs each. Variable natures (most are bad, like Relaxed or Calm, to be honest... But ehi, it's still a HA Pokemon, Ditto is there for a reason right?) - 18 Modest Goomys with both standard abilities and at least two perfect IVs each, plus a Sliggoo with Gooey and 2 IVs (it is Adamant :/ ) - 11 Bold Eevees with both standard abilities. They all know Wish as Egg Move. - 8 Adamant Larvitars. They all know Stealth Rock and Pursuit as Egg Moves. - 6 Hasty Froakies with Protean, including one female. All the listed Pokemon are guaranteed to have some perfect IVs. Some have more, some have less, I can check before trading if you want. Things I would like to get in return: - Timid Ghastly, better if knowing Disable (this is optional however) - Adamant Ditto - Female Swinub. Incidentally, what is a breeding chain to get Stealth Rock on Swinub? Would Tyrunt-Larvitar-Ryhorn-Swinub work? - Female Ryhorn if the above is a viable breeding chain - ADAMANT DITTO Of course, I would want Pokemon with good IVs, to set up a better breeding plan... Oh and I also really need Adamant Ditto, in case it wasn't clear enough. Did I mention I desperately need Adamant Ditto? So you are picking Cristiano Ronaldo over Victor Valdes, because Ronaldo can score a goal to Valdes? That is exactly the question you are asking: Bisharp and Mawile DO NOT do the same job, and therefore comparing them makes no sense, just like comparing a striker and a goalkeeper just because they are both footballers. Bisharp and Mawile have completely different playstyles (NO, the fact that they both have Sucker Punch DOES NOT mean that they are alike) and they deal with completely different threats; the reason why I am not running Mawile is that I already have other options to deal with the threats it would deal with, and the fact that I stated that, among the threats Bisharp can keep at bay, there is also Mawile itself DOES NOT mean that I consider Bisharp to be "better" than Mawile, simply because, to say that someone or something is better than someone or something else, you need to specify AT WHAT it is better, and in this case there is no "what" to be better at, because Bisharp and Mawile serve different purposes, have different playstyles and deal with different threats. In short, they do different jobs. I considered Bisharp and not Mawile as an option for this team simply because Bisharp deals with threats the rest of my team cannot deal with (most notably Mawile itself), while Mawile, in order to add something more to the team, would require a kind of support that this team CAN NOT provide. In even easier terms, Bisharp (and Scolipede for that matters) can easily fit in this team, Mawile can't. The whole comparison thing is something that was started by you, not me, and quite frankly it makes little to no sense because, once again, Bisharp and Mawile do different jobs. It's like arguing over who is more important for the human society between an engineer and a plumber. Counting this post, this is the third time I repeat this point: have I been clear enough this time? EDIT: not to mention the fact that Mawile, in order to be effective, needs to Mega Evolve, and I already have a Mega in Tyranitar, so yeah, this whole quarrell makes even less sense...
