Is anyone else excited for Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition coming out in December? I know the original game was criticized for lack of complicated combos and balance issues, but this version is tweaking the character balance and adding Kuroko and Uiharu (As an assist) into the roster, alongside the already playable Kirito, Asuna, and Misaka with assists like Accelerator/Last Order and Leafa.

@Mael
It would be if I had bought the original game, but I actually didn't even know it had already been released here, so I'm good. But yeah, it's just an obvious way to milk out more money.

The new version comes out December 17, so I'd wait for that if you're interested.

Guys, I have a secret to tell you...

One of the hardest things is trying to write a character who's smarter than you are...
-
It can be, but, you don't need to actually know what you're talking about, sound like you know, paraphrase never have the spcifcis. Example, The Crimson Knight is waaaaaaay fucking better than me at chess. However, can you say in those scenes that were in Clash that he didn't sound like a master? I never even once showed what he was exactly doing, I just described it in a way that conveyed his brilliance.

Basically, be smart about looking like your smart. In fact, not explaining entirely can work in your favor. Because the reader might not understand it as much as you, so... if you make it a blur or something another character can;t understand jsut looking at it, it might jsut add to the "how the hell did he do that?" factor which clearly makes it look like he's so intelligent they can;t understand what he just did. One doesn't have to be highly intelligent to write a character...

Pretty much everything hukuna said. You just need to exploit the suspension of disbelief and BS your way through it without trying to hard to actually explain in intricate detail dafuq they're doing or talking about. This is the type of sections where alot of descriptive/poetic language comes in handy for keeping the focus off of WHAT exactly the character is doing, and instead put it on HOW they are doing it and HOW the narration and other characters perceive it.
also, another...

Part of me wants to take a note from Ark/Cow/Murdoc/all the others and make a music list on my profile comprised of anime OSTs every week. It would kill two birds with one stone in a way, keeping me from needing to create that thread I was talking about. (I could just create the community one instead.)

It would also bring up the question of whether I focus on one anime's OST each week or just create an assortment. Assortment style would make me less likely to run out, as I could reuse an OST on different weeks, using different tracks, but focusing on one anime would be more organized I think. But then idk if I could watch enough anime per week to keep up.

I miss the days when I could actually have free time without feeling guilty of procrastinating on some assignment...

I've created a poll regarding my status update about an anime OST thread the other day, so if it sounds even remotely interesting, please check it out and leave your vote and some feedback. Thanks! http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18523#entry444137
