I know people are asking questions and sorry I don't get to them. I'm kind of like Bibs as I'm leaning towards no because I'm pretty occupied and know nothing about Gen 8. If you're short on hands though, I'll join for the sake of getting enough numbers.

Been playing Xenoblade definitive edition and honestly they addressed and fixed 80% of the gripes I had with the first game. Only thing you really lose is the sense of mystery and exploration but at the same time they added so things so that you can explore without becoming overpowered.
I don't think it is thread worthy but if anyone on the fence has questions feel free to ask as I loved the original.

-Character Models looked rather ugly (Shulk's face in the original is rather ugly)
-Quests and exploration skyrocket your levels making the main game a joke (you can be level 12 before entering the cave easily)
-Collection Quests were painful as you had to pick up every blue light to possibly get the item
-The better the equipment the less Sharla wears
-Awkward armor combinations
-Clunky UI navigation
-Loading times were a little slow
-All Non named NPC quests are auto completed when you fulfill the requirements
Things they didn't fix:

Artificial difficulty is a vague term and looking it up really doesn't apply much to RPGs and especially to this engine so I'm going to avoid the discussion here. I agree the sky battle idea is ridiculous as the E4 system is designed to limit your Pokemon already (ie no rotation team). It's not something I really should see people worrying about because if I have plans on how to make this work with Redux, do you really think Ame doesn't have a solid idea what the fight is going to be like? I mean has Reborn really delivered so far. I assume it has otherwise most of you reading this wouldn't st

Oh there was a long joke I had planned where the big reveal was that Madame X's name spelled backwards looked like Xen Adam and that Sakibot was used during the one scene to explain the big plot twist as nobody would expect Adam. That had me have a "wait a moment" since there is something very fishy about another character in that same scene. One we haven't seen in a very, very long time. One that matches up almost too well. Sticking with Saki being Madame X since it isn't that much of a stretch. The recap was mostly a joke as I figured most people would honestly know the game quit

@Frozenwolf94 I'll look into it but I can't promise I can identify the culprit. Lots of random little changes occur and something I just miss stuff. So it's been like 3 months since I made an update. What have I been doing all this time? Nothing. Honestly, it's mostly just been waiting for E19 development to cool off which seems like we're at that point. I decided to get my butt into gear on Sunday and start the pain in the butt migration process and testing. Oh boy is it always fun to test things over. I've been around here long enough I can honestly say if Ame needed to take time off of Reborn she will and she has (ie the infamous Episode 16). I trust her judgement so I don't really sweat when stuff like this comes up. I feel like I said this before already. Huh, Deju vu.

I've said this before, but I honestly don't say it enough. I was really just joking given I did all this work but I have said it and I will say it again: Pokemon Reborn is Ame's creation first and foremost and I will always respect that decision. If she asked me to stop Redux or hand over anything I did I would do so without question. Pokemon Reborn is the Reborn dev teams as it should be. They ultimately have the final say in what they do. Not that I agree with every decision, but just want to make sure people understand that. But let's just put that all aside and say
