  1. [insert something about rising from the dead] So hi, apparently I'm still in this reroll. I have a test on Monday so I'll try to catch up and post on Tuesday.
  2. Okay, I have a bit of good news and a bit of bad news. The good news is that we resolved the main issue at hand. Basically, the train is back on it's tracks for development, but there are going to be some changes. Nothing is official yet, but we are more or less back to normal...for the time being. Something is definitely going to come out of this situation as the writing team is going to be getting a few new policies regarding how thing are done. By policies, I mean the next person who causes a warzone is getting booted out of Revolution for good, character included. Now for the bad news, Revolution is going to be on a hiatus for a bit of time. Do not worry, it will come back. We've put a lot of time and effort in it to simply let it rot. For the next few days, I will be discussing how we will go about this. There are already going to be some slight revisions due to the loss of our ghost leader (who was a BN admin), but we actually had something interesting going on when things got tense. During my time as storywriter, there have been some interesting discussions about a character to fill in for the ghost leader role. Vladamir Demasque was actually in development shortly before I left. He's a bit of an older, well-mannered gentleman and quite wealthy with his haunted house. He's not finished, but I thought I might throw something at you to see if it perks any interests. Even though it would break the one leader per person rule, if it is well received, I will create an app for him on here for all to see. I still need to put the finishing touches on him (too bad he doesn't have a sprite yet). Edit: The hiatus likely won't last more than two weeks, but I'll be getting to work now.
  3. Yeah, I remember people saying Solaris was so easy in E15 so I pretty much just copy and pasted his team and made a few adjustments. I haven't tested Julia out in that fight...because I couldn't win it so I had to test Florinia. She might be losing that Tropius and getting a Mega Steelix or something because my god does she need it (and I really don't want to nerf the fight). So you two will be my guinea pigs in testing Julia's version of the fight. But yeah, I salute you for figuring out how to beat this fight (also, Sudowoodo is my second favorite Pokemon).
  4. While I gotta say these set of sprites look freaking amazing (seriously, they look really, really good), this one takes the cake. That scarf, muffler, thing with those boots make Auroras look Fabulous!
  5. Mega Audino has a little story behind it. It was kind of hard deciding what exactly to give Noel for a Mega and since Audino was close to Wigglytuff, I felt it would work for a tank and a setter up for Clefable due to a certain exploit I learned about. If you give a Pokemon only one attack move, the AI will go all funky and switch out (usually to the Ace) if it can't do enough damage. A misty terrain for Clefable is a nightmare if it uses Cosmic Power. Looking back at it, I feel the strategy is a little too gimmicky and kind of weakens his team. I'll have to think carefully on adjusting Noel's team as Mega Kanga and Mega Pidgeott are possible Megas and Lickilicky is a possible to scrap list. Noel is just the type of Normal leader you really can't expect anything with. I might actually ask Jamak to do a poll for when I create an update to the game as Noel and Radomus are on my to fix list.
  6. Hmm...this is the first time I heard of this occurring. Of my 25 trials against Julia, I have only seen her use that move once. I may test out Eerie Impusle on it to see if that's better, but no way to T-wave. Trust me, this pokemon gave me a lot of trouble turning it into a defensive type Pokemon. If I made it offensive, it would be too strong as it's current moveset is pushing the envelope, but yeah, I'll check it out. Kind of surprised Julia had bad AI day. Honestly, she probably has one of the best ones for me. She derps occasionally (Reborn is really good at covering this up...I don't know how), but overall she's pretty consistent. As for Voltorb, she had 2 on her official team, but I kept it there for the boom theme as Electrode won't explode. After all, it's not Julia without her boomies.
  7. Sigh...Jacob isn't around right now so I suppose I should clarify the situation. The current situation isn't as bad as it seems as I had second thoughts on what I did. Yeah, this might seems silly because the whole thing was silly. Basically for the past month or so, there have been many many arguments causing a lot of story development to halt. Things just kept building up and getting uglier and uglier for the story side of things and there really wasn't any side getting a resolve to this whole conflict. Bandages at the most as I would say. Truthfully, it was a few PMs that set me off and pretty much made me want to be done with this, but my god were we all acting like children. Telling Jacob I couldn't use any of my story pretty much was the only way to end the whole mess, but I do think it was a little too extreme, but again, my stress had enough with this so I did what I could to get myself out of this. Right now, I sent a PM to Jacob to discuss what we should do about the situation. WaveBlade, if I don't hear from Jacob in a week, I will begin discussing the drafts I had to you and we can try and settle on what should be done while we wait for Jacob to come back on. I want no one else to be a part of this though as we try and fix this giant mess. It is possible I will do the plot, but under the current situation, some changes will have to be made due a certain unexpected character being removed. But yes, I did give Jacob back the rights to the ideas and Episode 1 progress should continue (though I'm actually in the dark what exactly has been done). So yes, things are a little bit rocky as they are right now, but for the time being, Aquawaffle and SnowGlaceon are the only two official members of Revolution and the only ones I will discuss the current story situation with as the events unfold. Right now, I'm just trying to settle this out so it won't happen again, even if it means replacing me. It is also possible we completely rewrite the story entirely but keep some old concepts. So yeah, please don't ask me about the current situation of Revolution because I don't entirely know and I'm trying to get it back on its feet again. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As for people removing their characters or want to replace the new ones, we are currently not taking any characters until this is settled out. I did have the ground gym spot and we had a backup for the Ghost gym which might be used. If you remove a character though, that does not mean that spot becomes vacant. The plot I had wasn't complete, but was near completion, but we do not know what will become of that plot until we sort this mess all out. If you have concerns or questions, I am very limited to what I can answer, but I will discuss a bit about the character if you are considering removing yours.
  8. Oh yeah, I forgot about Sawk being available that early in the game. I already paid up and I'm kind of glad he's not too impossible to beat. Don't know if Calm Mind Swoobat would work on him as most of his team would tear that thing right up. Excadrill was the problem child for me. Nothing was more frustrating than burning his Garchomp only to have it full restore back to health. Mandibuzz is the only one I never tested out...but it seems like it's doing what it's supposed to. But the funny thing is that I thought it originally was going to be too easy and have to boost it five levels. I got owned with a regular team. Like completely owned so I lowered it five levels iirc and still got beat pretty badly. Definitely beats a level 80 Mega Garchomp any day (that's what Jamak was going to do...or something like that).
  9. Yeah it should be back up in a few days. I forget what exactly Jamak did, but all the fights and level adjustments are available on this link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/x8foch22kbp13zx/Reborn_Hardcore_1.7.rar Basically, this version only altered trainer Pokemon and levels, but all the fights in the main one are in this mod.
  10. Female Dorms "Looks like somebody is a little bit cranky," Citrine whispered to Claude in a bit of a teasing manner. She then decided it was best to ignore grouchy butt over there as he reminded her of Henry. When Henry was in a bad mood, it was best not to push him, but she would anyways because the two knew each other so well...but this Wolt kid being a stranger meant she had to play it safe. "Yeah...I suppose citrine is the name of a gem. Honestly, I like the fruits so I decided to just go with that name as it's kind of catchy." She looked over to notice that her roommate Mie had come out to join the fun. "Oh Claudie, I'd like you to meet umm...something to do with I...oh me! That's Mie, my roommate. Err...she's not really much of a talker." Truthfully, out of this whole group, Claude seemed to be the only one to give her good vibes. There was just something about him. Rosie on the other hand was giving a stare down to the loud mouthed girl and the grumpy boy. It was thanks to these two that she couldn't get a moments rest. She looked back and forth trying to figure out which one was the lesser of two evils. So far...it was leaning more towards the loudmouth. Still...it was quite humorous seeing the boy have little control on the Sneasel's actions. She had no time to think upon such a scene though. In a moment like this, she needed to be prepared for anything. She simply sat there watching, ready to take action should anything go wrong.
  11. Still a better first day than Henry's. Eh, don't worry too much about it. Chim's just busy having fun trying to get things moving along a bit.
  12. ...I was talking about his team when it was up to like Aya or such (Ep VII). Back then, we didn't have a gen VI, but I know he had three Pokemon. I'm almost positive he didn't have a Gligar either on that team. It's going to kill me for not remembering. It's kind of like how Aya's ace used to be Seviper. (Looks at Nickaboo's Youtube channel), yup, it was a Floatzel. It's hilarious how I completely forgot about it until now.
  13. Gotta admit, I completely forgot about Swoobat when designing Kiki. Curse you Rejuvenation for teaching kids OP strategies. But usually, it's the other way around with Cal being super easy and Kiki being kind of a challenge. It goes to show you different teams make fights very different. Still think Florinia is the easiest. I kind of dislike this segment as there's an abundance of exp which makes Pokemon overleveled. Kiki's level cap is supposed to be 42, but with such an abundance of experience, a player is going to pass that, but if I nerf the Shade's episode battles, then you got a whole long segment of easy fights. BTW, Muk only knows water pulse to avoid a certain AI exploit with Muddy Water as that attack is Water/Electric, but the AI thinks it's a water attack. And good luck against Solaris if you plan on trying to beat him. There's a certain text edit that didn't get made, but I'll tell you when you get there. And yes, the fight is supposedly winnable, but again good luck.
  14. I know that fight is hard because it takes a full team to take it down. Should've seen my face when it had 1 HP and was burned and I waited for it to take burn damage. I went into a rage realizing that it had Magic Guard making me lose. Still, don't take same in that because Pulse Abra is meant to make people rethink they're fighting instead of running straight into a fight gun ablazing. Actually, that's the goal of Hardcore to promote strategy over power. But yeah, Pulse Abra is definitely in the top 5 hardest fights. I'm not going to tell you what the hardest fight is, but I will tell you that it's getting nerfed in the E16 release.
  15. I don't know what you're on, but could I have some? Sirius's team hasn't ever changed since the beginning of Ep VIII and has been those same six Pokemon since. I'm not sure if Taka had one, but from my knowledge he's always had the Cradily, Chatot, and um...what was that one Pokemon again...uh...magical awesome Pokemon (I know he had three on the island). Anyways, that mega evolution animation looks kind of nice (even though I swear that's just Shadow Ball in a standstill). It's certainly better than nothing I'll say.
  16. Er, not my cup of tea to play, but I'll probably watch this one to see where it goes. Kind of an unusual idea around these parts...and Aqui as a Yandere...don't let Aqui be the Yandere she's scary enough as it is.
  17. Oh! I forgot to ask something. Are the pokemon seen next to their sprites (I think they're their aces) going to be the same color as they are in battles? Or is it just going to be the normal shiny or normal colored Pokemon. Kind of like how the Pokemon match their perspective trainer (another nice touch).
  18. There is a lack of color, but that's the reason I like it. For some reason, it gives me Link's Awakening vibes. They definitely don't resemble GF style of spriting so I hope you weren't aiming for that when creating them, but they all seem pretty consistent in the style you're using which is a good thing. There's also a lack of detail in the sprites, but it just seems to work. They look pretty nice and it's kind of refreshing seeing something that's not GF styled spriting (such is how Reborn league used pre-made sprites to adjust).
  19. Female dorms (Pretty much everybody outside) It didn't take too long before she finally reached the doorway out of this place. The sooner she got out of this drama center, the better. She certainly picked the wrong time to step outside at the wrong time. Right in front of her was that loud girl and the two boys, but she got a better picture of them. It looked like the skinny one was getting picked on before she turned over to Chubby Mcguire getting onto him. Rosie heard a little something from the ginger's mumblings about her trainer setting her off again. She was ready to teach that girl a lesson about talking her trainer ready to give this girl a pounding, but Citrine stopped the Skitty with her foot, whispering, "Let the master do her magic here." "Hey Frosty!" Citrine yelled to the blue haired boy. "Are you just going to let your girlfriend push you around like a piece of dirt? A real man would stand up for themselves and not take that kind of crap. But...if you every get sick of fire-head over there, I'm not taken." Citrine took a few more steps and noticed a giant peaking out to look at a girl who had fallen on the ground. Note to self: don't get on that girl's bad side. She wondered what the other girl did to get chucked out this window. Citrine then realized she barged into this conversation without even introducing herself. "By the way, the name's Citrine, future coordinator born in a sandbox."
  20. I got it now, but for the time being, assume Citrine is heading to the door when you're updating. We already got plenty going on and I kind of don't feel like making a one line post of reaching Samantha at the door (since she'd be close anyways). I have a feeling somebody is going to get burned from what's about to come. (Oh god that was a horrible joke). Kind of left Hiss in the dirt there for a moment, but I suppose he could join in if Mie really wanted to.
  21. Okay, let me see if I got this straight in my head: Most of the girl's are in their dorm rooms unpacking when Samantha arrived (She also arrived before Wolt and Claude). Samantha's loud yelling made it so that all the PC's could hear her in the general area and then her Chimchar dragged them within range. Citrine yelled at Samantha who yelled back making her interested in the two boys, but when they and Citrine were close enough to get a good look, she instantly became uninterested and said Adios and is heading out (even if it meant crossing paths with Samantha). During this time, Adeline pops her head out the window to get a glimpse of Doux before taking a plunge while Drake looked out the window to see if she's okay. Did I miss anything? Oh Chim, I know you're capable of this because I know what I would do Esper under the bed.
  22. (thinks for a moment) Hmm...probably heading towards them as that's the only way to get out of this boring place. So heading to the door would be the best answer.
  23. Considering I was in Marching Band, all is forgiven. I'll just work off of Huk's logic since it makes sense. Anyways, I'm surprised you can even post because Sunday was basically my only free day (sometimes I'd get back at 2am-4am on competition nights). Just going back to those days made me realize how fit I was...and how lazy I've gotten since then.
  24. Kind of a my bad moment XD. Even in the old RP I kept thinking the dorm were connected to the main building as I keep forgetting you have to go outside to get to them. Kind of keep thinking this is like Hogwarts where basically dorms are connected to the class room and gate.
  25. Kind of confused because I though Doux was inside...meaning that she would've fallen into the hallway. I mean it also makes sense that she fell outside which confused me. Just wanted clarification is all.
