  1. Oh don't worry, I have something up my sleeve for Kage later on. Just wanted to get roomie stuff out of the way first.
  2. Mie and Citrine Citrine's eyes moved from the girl to her Vulpix and stood there in a daze. Something within her caused her to take a few steps back before she shook her head to snap back to reality. "Sorry about that. I get a little dizzy without my caffeine. Anyways, I'm Citrine Baldwin and my little partner in crime here is Rosie." The little Skitty glared at her trainer. If it weren't for her real master's orders, she would never have cooperated with a girl like that. The Skitty turned back and gave a joyful smile. She loved having a Vulpix for a roomie. It was almost like back at home. Citrine knew the girl was nervous, but she wasn't quite sure what to say to her next. "So...do you come from far away? I'm from the Orre Region, but you probably haven't heard of it. Not very many people from there get to go to this school...or that's what my bro told me. Can never tell when he's trying to make a fool out of me."
  3. Mie and Citrine "Yeah, I meant room number and well...that's a coincidence," spoke Citrine. The odds of finding the right person that quickly were almost night impossible. She gave a grin to the Skitty teasing it how everything has been turning out fine so far. "Guess that makes us roomies then. So roomie, got a name? Or would you rather me keep calling you roomie instead? Doesn't bother me either way." Meanwhile little Rosie was looking at the Vulpix. For a moment, she mistook it for a different Vulpix back home, but the this one wasn't as big as the one she was used to let alone it was a girl. She figured it was just as friendly and waved her paw at the fox. Maybe it wouldn't also try to eat all of her food, unlike a certain glutton at home. Citrine, on the other hand, had completely missed the Vulpix focused on the girl's strange hair color. It's not everyday you see a silver haired girl, let alone one that is your roommate.
  4. Oh thank god! Scared me there for a minute using the Disney Song. Rule #1 of copyright infringement: never fucking use an official disney song in anything.
  5. You know that was a joke, right? Umm...yeah...probably should change that 'cause I don't want Disney shutting down Reborn's community for copyright...yeah...definitely get rid of that for many reason like right now.
  6. But I am grammatically correct there if she was sitting in a hood while wearing a hood, aren't I? And oh yeah, sometimes I look away and forget what I was doing...causing that problem. I'll try to avoid those hoodceptions.
  7. Mie and Citrine Citrine looked around, but every single person she tried looking at was either too girly or didn't have the number she was looking for. The Skitty was flustered seeing irresponsible this girl truly was, just like her former master said she'd be. Kind of ironic when the Pokemon needs to take care of the trainer and make sure she stays out of trouble. Citrine was in luck though as she managed to find a girl wearing hood nearby. "Excuse me," she asked. "I'm looking for a girl's number."
  8. Kenny, I'm kind of glad this got put up. While my general belief is still not to have Pokemon talk, but kind of show what they're doing or saying. I would say the old color system is the best way to keep track of it. There are a couple things that you can do to distinguish dialogue and I can use an example I did for my first post. I used quotes and italics for Henry speaking over the phone as while Citrine could hear it, no other character should've been able to kind of giving a signal not to have their character react to that. Using a different style is an easy indication when something unusual is happening like color for Pokemon, but that tool should be kept to minimum usage. (Tags can also be used to signal when a certain RPer needs to read a post). I myself will not be using PokeTalk as I feel it is much easier to express the Pokemon's words in their actions as nobody is going to be needing the exact wording for what the Pokemon is doing hardly ever (I also don't believe Pokemon have a universal language...but if we count anime...it's canon I suppose). I'll give an example of where both could work just fine...but are handled differently: Poke Speak: Non Poke Speak: Not saying one or the other is better, but Poke Speak should be carefully and used as little as possible if it is going to be used. I personally am not going to use it, but if you do use it, just don't do strings of dialogue, but give insight that normally couldn't be given so easily.
  9. ...I think I know why you did that. And oh is it going to be a long year for Citrine.
  10. Looks like Punishment (•_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■) Received his Punishment I gotta admit Shelly doesn't look threatening, but she can be (freaking Illumise with Confuse Ray hax). The longer you let her team live, the more dangerous she becomes. I wouldn't say she's easy, but she's also not super hard. I think Florinia earned the medal of weakest overall gym leader. Her old, old team was pathetically easy.
  11. Oh yeah, Serra has earned her name the hax queen back for hardcore easily. Definitely not an easy fight that I've lost quite a few times. Yeah, once you get past Noel (who isn't as bad as Serra) you'll be out of the insanity part of Hardcore as I call it as Luna and Radomus are a bit anticlimatic compared to the rest. Samson is the only other gym that gave me a really hard time outside of Serra, but I'm surprised you beat her. Pretty good strategy you got there with that toxic spikes.
  12. Citrine noticed the giant group together, but she didn't particularly care about it. "The people here sure are a lot of pansies. Back in Pyrite, you'd never see someone help another up. Besides, that probably didn't even hurt...wussies." The Skitty tried to give her a warning about what she was slowly backing up into, but too late. Citrine's mumbling made her ram right into the desk almost causing her to fall over. The blonde turned around surprised to see how quickly the line had gone down. "Sorry about that. Here's my...things to get registered." She wasn't quite sure what the ID card was, but she still knew it was important. Right after setting her ID down, she noticed a couple of Pokemon getting into a fight. She couldn't help but grin while turning to her companion. "Henry had nothing to worry about. I told him I could behave." The Skitty shook her head while pointing to the giant dirt tracks that her trainer had created. "Oh don't worry about that. Nobody cares if the floor get a little dirty anyway." She the picked up the key card while heading off. "Now...who was my roomate again?" Citrine looked around trying to figure out who'd she be sharing a room, or sleeping with as she called it. The only problem was finding a girl without a name would be nigh impossible. Rosie remembered the name, but being a Pokemon, she couldn't really tell her trainer that. If only her former master were here, things would be much easier.
  13. It's okay Chim, I keep getting them mixed up to. Early on, I kept calling her Luna because it's a force of habit. But yeah, Citrine is pretty much what everyone calls her as she doesn't like to be called Luna and it will make her go off on you.
  14. How I felt when a little spider landed on my head.

    1. BlueMoonIceCream

      BlueMoonIceCream

I would feel the same because I have long hair and I don't want a spider all up in there

  15. I'll answer this by saying, that's a lot of D's you got there.
  16. Don't worry too much about this as it's just a confirmation we're all still alive and participating in the RP. I haven't done it either, but it doesn't matter too much as Chim's still probably thinking up roommates which will take a little bit of time combined for updates on all of us. I feel sorry for the soul who has to sleep in the same room as Citrine.
  17. Encountering shinies is not a rare occurrence, but trying to find the shiny you are looking for can be quite difficult as the encounter may have been heightened from the main games approximately 1%, but it is still rare. Depending on your choice for Blake, you can get a charm later to increase shiny encounters though it will take some time.
  18. I'm looking back at the old RP chapter and oh my things moved so freaking fast. Like I joined one day after the IC was up and there was about four pages (and we didn't have as many people). I'd also like to say post quality is much better here than in the old Ymora as well.
  19. Orre Colosseum. The game isn't too bad and then BAM! The game throws a Spore spamming team followed by the most BS hax of all time. There's one guy that has a Spinda with Teeter Dance and a Smeargle with Lock-On Sheer Cold. Yeah, that could pretty much tick any guy off. Not to mention you don't have too many options to use against these guys unless you trade an official game team on.
  20. "What am I going to do with you?" A male's voice could be heard over a gray cell phone with the boy sounding disappointed. The phone belonged to a blonde hair girl who wore a loose blue shirt and light brown cargo shorts. Cleanly definitely wouldn't be the word to use to describe her shoe's looked as if they went through miles of mud to get there. "Look, I'm sorry. I didn't think that card thing was important so...I might've forgot it at home, okay?" The girl seemed relax given how important the contents of the said item. The Skitty, hugging her shoulder, shook her head at these words. "If you check in that backpack you have, I put it with all that other paperwork you might need. Try to act a little more responsible." The girl followed the instruction pulling out her ID card from the backpack. She smiled with delight at how organized her brother was and how easy it would be to register. "Oh don't worry about it, bro. I made sure your little Rosie gets 3 meals a day." The girl placed her hand on the Skitty scratching it's head which delighted the little mon. "It'd be nice to hear something other than food from you. Could you at least...." Before the boy could finish, the girl hung up the phone and put it in her pocket. She figured it wasn't that important anyways as the little Skitty could pretty much take care of itself. The girl then made her way through the gates and when she saw the lines stretched back. "You've got to be kidding me!" she yelled loud and clear for all to hear. "I even got here early for this too!" Eight minutes after opening is probably the earliest the girl ever showed up to anything as she didn't have the patience for. The Skitty jumped down and covered her eyes all the while. The ringing hurt, especially coming from a girl that loud. Citrine made her way over the the girl's dorm line while grumbling, "I'm probably gonna get stuck with some girly girl. Honestly, I'd prefer to be stuck with a roughhousing boy, but society frowns upon that. And can't this line move any faster. I swear...the lunch lines better not be this bad or we're going to have problems."
  21. I don't see the issue here either, honestly. I mean as long as it's not a pop into every type of conversation using it, I don't see a problem at all. And in battle, we kind of decided one can only use it so many times before the Pokemon is exhausted. I remember this conversation even.
  22. Seriously, don't worry about posting as it's not like we're going to bombard the RP...yet. I mean I joined like a week after it all began and I caught up pretty quickly in the original. Just don't die and good luck on your interview. And more importantly, don't die during your interview. It'll make you look bad.
  23. That Pokemon is the only one on his team that can Mega. I also have to agree on that team change. It feels like after losing the mono, they got weaker though Galvantula definitely is a threat on Cain's team.
