I can not farm up the IP for Zed quickly enough.

You can upgrade the vamp scepter whenever but I usually upgrade it to Bilgewater Cutlass a lot earlier than last (after Zeal) if I'm doing well. The extra damage and slow is a perfect fit for both ganking other lanes and for Yasuo's nice mid-game, and it builds into Blade of the Ruined King - which is one of my favorite items on him - ideally right after I have Shiv/Triforce and Infinity Edge.

Maybe they had horrid MMR, maybe not. Another case for the latter would be my brother however. He spent almost the entire offseason in high silver, then he won six of his placement matches and was placed in Bronze 2. I really do not understand this system.

If you think you may avoid Bronze, you may be in for a rude awakening. There were people in platinum last year that ended up in Bronze despite winning 5-8 of their placement matches. The Ranked Placement God does not want to play nice this year.

Don't assume that Gym Leaders don't have connections. They are very high up in society. I don't know, and I don't know. Going to have to have Ame give you an answer to that one. Because it's Fern. The guy spends the whole game finding new ways to be a jerk.

I went this way with Virizion just to give it more of an autumn tinge (as a contrast to the spring-like green and pink). Not the final version by any means, but if the Three Guardians (Cobalion / Terrakion / Virizion) and Keldeo had things like this going on to contrast a usual aura which they give off, that would be cool.

The strategy as Kassadin with those changes was basically to spend all laning phase farming under your own turret, and then hope and pray for an opportunity to be spoonfed a couple of kills to be anywhere as useful mid to late. Poke champs like Lux/Ziggs could poke him all day and he would do NOTHING back because his bases were so gimped that he'd always be under his own turret, getting poked to death.

Good ol' Jax gettin down and dirty on the Treeline. Props to Renzo for reminding me to get some games in with him. EDIT: 6th win in a row on the Treeline. I think I've got the groove!
