  1. Eh, Lunar Goddess Diana is (in my opinion) the only really good one of the three so if they were going to pull that card, I'm cool with it. Roxie Riven and Nuh-uh Tryndamere just don't do it for me. EDIT: Actually, the Riven skin has grown onto me, ended up being the one I got.
  2. Banner of Command's AP and CDR were doubled to 80 AP and 20% CDR but it lost the Armor and Health Regen aura.
  3. I'd leave off Rabadon's till a 5th or 6th item, all it is is AP and I'd sooner get items that further benefitted the team, like Mikael's Crucible. This would go for almost all mage-supports I play; Rabadon's is just AP and nothing more, but support items have really valuable actives that should, in my opinion, be bought after the gold item/sightstone. It's gonna suck when a Rabadon's purchase turns out to screw my team in the end when I could have had the item to save my carry. That goes for Mejai's as well; I mean if you have the gold, then go for it, but it's better that you divert your funds to the "support" items first. The only support I would typically buy Mejai's on is Soraka because of how easily those assists come (thanks in part to the global heal). That's just me though. I haven't played a mage-support in a long time.
  4. Yeppers. I like Swain more there than mid because he can do his thing better with the plethora of melee champs, while being tanky enough to deal with most of the more powerful fighters like Olaf. I usually leave mid to the champs whom I can roam with (Lissandra, Akali, etc) since Swain doesn't have much in the way of mobility.
  5. How much do I hate Riven? This much. I'm really starting to take a liking to playing Swain just because of the whole niche that he has. He can remain super tanky while dealing a lot of single-target damage, both sustained and burst. His passive is amazing for staying in lane and farming/harassing until that crucial turning point when he hits 6. It's really tricky to farm with him, but that's a skill that's going to come over time and given that I completely shut my lane opponent down, I can go back to this game (I have it on LoLreplay) and see what I did / didn't do and work from there - he could be a main down the road.
  6. I was about to put something here but Ikaru beat me to everything I was going to say. On the other side of the map, that feel when I'm really starting to get sick of seeing Riven.
  7. I also don't dig support that much, but there's one reason I still support every now and again: making plays. Always feels badass when you land that hook or hit the entire enemy team with Crescendo. Getting other people fed is always nice. Meanwhile Erick's writing up a post as we speak
  8. " 'Darius' is an anagram of 'radius', which is the distance from the center of a circle to its edge. This could be a reference to Decimate, as he spins his axe in a circle around him."

Decimate means to take one of every ten.

Abbey you were on the wiki weren't you? People come up with a lot of weird things on there, it is actually pretty cool.

  9. Indeed. 34 true damage is a lot when you think about it, and it punishes Singed for thinking Thornmail would be the end of his woes. I would support building Runaan's but I get more mileage out of Wit's End myself.
  10. Got zoned early, but I just went to town in the late game. Almost got a penta kill, but Lucian got the last one...oh well. I forgot how fun this guy is EDIT: Teemo Completely Shutting Down His Lane Opponent Whom He Thought Countered Teemo, brought to you by an unreal Kayle
  11. Won my first ranked game of the season! Yay Sivir \o/

lol I still haven't even done my placements......tired of all the keyboard warriors I keep getting stuck with. They freaking die once and give up and just yell at the team in chat.....so annoying.

  12. Going full man mode with an epic Baron steal Mantheon is a god.
  13. > Tryndamere >feeding That feel when getting hexakilled.
  14. Basically, take Jax with less attack enhancements and a second stun, and you get bruiser Leona. Not to mention her E lets her slip through the front lines easily. ^ Not worth a new post but yeah this is a huge detail I forgot too ~Ikaru
  15. Wall of Fluff Slurpuff (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Sweet Veil EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 SAtk Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Wish - Protect - Cotton Guard - Dazzling Gleam Here's my attempt to make this ugly unloved thing somewhat competent. It boasts the Fairy type, which means the only things it has to worry about are the stray Steel-type attacks. (When was the last time you saw a competent Poison-type move not named Toxic used in OU or BL?) Steel-type attacks themselves are rare, so Slurpuff's typing is awesome for a physical wall. Wish / Protect is the usual core, and is so used in this generation that I really need not explain it. Cotton Guard is used to amplify Slurpuff's Defense to levels where it's no longer killable. Dazzling Gleam is the attack move that Slurpuff resorts to in the event that it gets Taunted.

Please note that the format for the set's details matches that produced by Pokemon Online's Export Button, so feel free to copy/paste sets directly from your teams, with your own description provided.
  17. How're things goin, Rinny? I owe you a conversation since I only just saw your skype message now, so shoot me a PM when I'm on the server or somethin.
  18. I've been screwed out of a lot of penta kills myself, it sucks . Probably not as much for me as it does for you, I have been fortunate enough to get a number of pentas myself, most recently with Yasuo. All that can be said is that cliche line "If you at first you don't succeed..."
  19. I hope the "Am I Welcome Here?" is a rhetorical question. Of course you're welcome here! Also you make it sound like you're embarassed to be an otaku - which you really shouldn't be. A good chunk of us are otakus like yourself so I think you'll find it a lot easier to converse and make friends with people here quickly, and even more so with a little time. Please do make yourself at home, so to speak. If you got any questions about the place don't be afraid to ask me, or Amethyst, or any of the staff! Not like I'm a staff, of course, but I like to think I know this place pretty well so there's that. That's...pretty much all I have to say, I guess.
  20. I posted my two cents on the LoL chat thread, it's probs where the conversation belongs To get us back on track, here's a 3v3 screencap of me discovering how strong Xin is on Twisted Treeline. Xin is the king of 1v3s EDIT: Yes, I kicked your dog. Problem?
  21. Anyway, continuing the conversation from the screenshots thread here. Well I would attempt to continue the conversation if it wasn't for Roo and EDH summing up what I was about to say almost perfectly. That and I'm almost a king of off-meta crap - including support Ashe and the Garen of Righteous Fire (Liandry's + Sunfire + Abyssal + IE + cleaver + Treads). I really don't care when people go off-meta at all; in fact I welcome it (including the AP Fiora that carried me in one of my ranked games last season). There is a line between when it's okay or just for fun, and when it becomes trolling. I have much less tolerance, however, for the people who make fun of or look to put down anything off-meta (ref. jungle Quinn conversation) just because it isn't normal, especially since the game in question wasn't ranked. When someone's looking to have fun, going and essentially shitting on their parade is not cool at all. EDIT: As a useless side note, my brother also once played a Jax-style bruiser Leona that had (I think) BoRK, Triforce, Treads, Randuin's, Spirit Visage. Really bad in lane, but he was able to snowball off a couple kills. We had one teamfight where Leona was able to make the carry completely useless while dealing tons of damage. No one on the other team could kill her and we ended up winning effortlessly. He had the shit flamed out of him at first, but towards match's end our teammates were praising him.
