Even though they were really long, they were still just short enough that I could do normal things. E.G. When I typed on a keyboard it made this nice beautiful little clicking sound as opposed to this strange pounding sound I get now. I think people with really short nails don't quite realize just how useful a longer nail can be. The only real issue I had was that occasionally I would hit my hand on something and one of the nails would bend backwards which is one of the greatest pains my hand has ever experienced.
