Those roles can have two targets during night actions, will the tracker see them visiting two people?

The criminal kill visit is not included in what the tracker sees. Only who they visit for their specific role.

I'd love to join, but I'm really out of time and I haven't played something like that before, but I'll keep track on this so I can learn more about it.

How many people do you still need?

5 ;_; I'll be waiting a bit more. If no one comes in like 12 hours, I'll just lower the limit to 10 and begin the game.

It's not that hard to play actually. I'll be guiding the players along the way with what they must do.

Night Zero

Year 1986, Atlantic Ocean

The Cruise Ship Blackwater sailed across the Atlantic Ocean, carrying 500 passengers in its vast expanses. It was on the midpoint of its journey from England to New York. Its journey was greatly ordinary; there were no storms in its route nor were there any threats such as pirates which might threaten the ship. It was on the 3rd night of its journey, its passengers were enjoying the trip very well; some were gambling in the casino while others danced in the ballroom. The entire crew of the ship was also lazing about, believing that it wouldn't be that bad to leave their work stations for a bit of time.

That was when disaster happened. Without anyone to watch its course, the ship bumped smack into a drifting iceberg, shaking the ship tremendously. The crew immediately checked the bottom of the ship for any damages, and there they saw large holes created by the collision, which allowed water to seep in large levels. Knowing that this was irreparable, the crew and staff immediately announced to the ship that the people should head to the lifeboat area and escape the ship before it sinks into the deep blue. With the immediate action, all of the passengers were able to board on the lifeboats, and most of these lifeboats were found easily by the rescue party.

Two lifeboats, carrying 10 people in total, were led astray, however. They were brought into an uninhabited island at the dead of night. They docked into the island and most began to seek some place of shelter as they all decided that it was best to stay there for a bit of time before taking another course of action. The group separated as each selected a spot for himself/herself.

Two of the passengers went away together and when they were away from earshot, one of them snickered and whispered to the companion, "These people are in for a big surprise. They don't know that there are criminals that slipped among them. We shall begin enacting the elimination of these fools, picking them off one by one, a person per night until they are outnumbered.. We do need better chances of survival after all."

The partner of the criminal took the gun stashed in his pocket, while his partner took the bullets they had stored. The innocent people were gonna be in a load of pain.

[Night Zero has begun. It will end 24 hours from now or until everybody sends their action. Strictly no commenting on this thread whenever it is Night Phase and simply PM me your Night Action if you do have one.]

Do you have experience playing this game: YES. Used to ladder so hard the game became unplayable due to getting targeted by every pr N1.

I don't mean to question our gracious host, but have you checked that the current lineup is balanced? It feels like innocents have way too many power roles for the criminal to reasonably win. Unless the hidden roles are fool, yakuza and janitor.
Never played it on a forum before, how will the day/night discussions work? Seems like it could easily go over hundreds of pages if we had to post every time we wanted to speak.

Also asking for roles/sides is counterproductive this kind of game is based around zero-information starts. Preferred roles/sides if used, will actually give information which actually enhance the winning chance of the innocent side.

Experience? Kind of, I physically played it several times at parties (several years ago) so I kind of know what it's about. I don't have any online experience though

Day One

The sun rose up in the sky and most, if not all of them, awoke from their sleep. Surprisingly, they had all gathered near the beach side, some of them probably hoping for an escape of the island. They checked their numbers and they realized one of them was missing. Just then, one of them screamed, as he pointed to a body sticking out of a bush, "Is that the one missing?" One of them immediately checked the body and told everyone that the person was dead. Checking the person's belongings yielded the knowledge that this person was named Twin Aero. Apparently, he was slit in the throat and died from blood loss.

One of them cried, "What is happening here?"

Another of the group told them, "I heard that there were criminals being transported in the cruise ship."

"What?!" "Are you saying some of them slipped in here?" "What the?!" "Get me out of here!" People became hysterical after hearing that fact, and of course, as absurd as it was, it did sound true.

"Unfortunately, we can't escape from this island just yet. There are strong currents surrounding this island at the moment. It may take a long while befroe the current changes." A rational one among the group told them. "Besides, if we do intend to escape, there are criminals among us. They can kill us on the trip. They probably haven't acted on the way here since it was unsafe yesterday."

"Oh no!!!" "What do we do then?" "Who can we trust?" People became hysterical once more.

"Calm down everyone!" The rational person answered the people. "We must find out who is a criminal and who is not amongst us. We must vote for a person and whoever gets the most votes will be eliminated. There's a high chance we'll accidentally eliminate someone totally innocent, but collateral damage is necessary if we want to survive."

Everyone silently agreed. The criminals grinned at the back of the group; they wouldn't just get caught.

Twin Aero is dead. He was an innocent Vigilante.

[Day One has begun. It will end 48 hours from now or until most of you has voted. Discuss on who could be a criminal and cast your vote for the day or abstain if you don't want to vote yet. For ye innocent people, don't worry about messing up the vote on Day 1; it is pretty luck-based for Day One after all to catch a criminal.]

For this Day, I will be requiring 5 out of the 9 of you left to cast a vote.

Besides some the roles now have gathered information so they hav better insight of who is a criminal or not.

Yes, but they aren't really allowed to share any of it, right?

You're allowed to share it, but only on this thread, of course. That is, if you want to get targeted by the criminals though ~

Sorry for doubleposting, but I'd like to make some clarifications:

- You can claim a role, but you must not show the PM I sent you to anyone.

- If there is a tie in votes, the kill will be randomized between the ones tied.

- A minimum of 2 posts is required per Day Phase.

For now, I'll share some thoughts: I think TwinAero's death isnt random. Considering his profile early on... he has prolly the highest experience among us thus greatest threat. If I go with that logic the chances are a bit high that the killers or at least one of em is inexperienced cuz if both of em have very good experience they would prolly ignore the info given early on and instead of attacking an experienced person they would have just randomly tried their luck to find important roles and yes I know this logic is flawed am merely throwing it out to the winds for now cuz seriously everyone is playing coy and its hard to start a conversation ayy cuz all of this close sentences.

edit: from this:

That sounds logical I guess. So what you're saying is that if the criminals were experienced, they wouldn't have targeted (one of) the most experienced player, because that would be too obvious, right? So following that logic, the criminals must be inexperienced. That slightly narrows it down

[Slowly decomposes under the harsh sunlight, bits of body parts slowly getting scrapped and eaten by wingulls and pelippers. The living can not hear the thoughts of the dead, but if they could, they would hear how the dead vigilante would like to be buried as he can not contribute to the discussion.]
