Chevaleresse Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 A few things occurred to me over the past few days. 1. Most of the extant RPs here are closed. 2. The one RP that is completely open currently is very mechanics-heavy and can be somewhat daunting. 3. We've never actually had the standard "magical high school/academy/college/night class/etc" roleplay. Basically, I'd like to know if anyone would be interested in a sort of "supernatural college" sort of game. It'd be pretty light and intended for beginning roleplayers, with no real mechanics and a focus on character interactions rather than driving forward the plot (which may or may not actually exist.) GMs and moderators would be mostly responsible for breaking stuff up when interactions stagnate and resolving player disputes if any come up. As for the setting of the game itself, it'd be some sort of magic university - or high school, depending on what people want, but the former gives some more freedom. Characters would be supernatural creatures, magicians, and the like who might not fit into a mundane school or just want to hone their arcane knowledge or kiss an elf or whatever. There wouldn't be a lot of restrictions on who and what you could play. Anyone game?

Just think of it as a play, except without the tights and the script got set on fire the night before you were supposed to rehearse, no one else has a copy, and the internet doesn't exist.
