Plus, earthquake really wouldn't do that much since ferrothorn is partially grass, so it really would only do normal damage. Flash fire would be the only way to really cover it's major weakness. Master Menos Posted October 20, 2015 Share Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) Sounds like Knock Off is def out of the question for Dimensional Rift Pokemon since whatever story-only item they're holding is treated like mega stones (Well, unless they're weak to it due to their typing). I don't think Ferrothorn learns any Fire type moves, so it least it would only benefit from 1 of 2 effects of Flash Fire (not taking damage from Fire attacks). Inb4 Hidden Power fire +1 on a max special atk / hp Ferrothron. Probably the Ferro doesn't have anything to do with dimensional rifts. Hopefully.
