The dark prophecy is now found in the hidden library, but I never heard of the light one...

The light one is talked about in the mansion (gym 3), as well as in the hidden library in a different room (albeit easier to miss iirc).

Incidentally, there's also some relevant information in Keta's journal in one of the rooms with the gems (for the chandelure event)

The thing with going to the amethyst grotto to pick up the soulstone was a test - Keta followed you to see if you'd be able to enter the Amethyst Grotto, which apparently only 'pure souls' could interact with the red stone that opens it up, and he says in his journal that he thinks the player character is the 'power of hope' in the good prophecy and that there's something about when the 4 heroes of light fight the 4 warriors of darkness (then the journal gets cut off).

There's also a ton of other sketchy stuff involving the main character that was added in v6, on the SS Oceana you can eavesdrop through one of the walls for instance:

You'll see crescent talking to the main characters mother - it's strongly implied that Crescent told her to bring you to Gearen City and that if she doesn't do as she's told something bad will happen (phrased in a way that sounded like a threat to me but it could be interpretted without being a threat) One other thing of note is that Crescent also makes a comment that she's shocked to see Nancy seem to have an emotional reaction before saying that it's impossible and that they're just 'faux emotions' - on a related note, you'll also see a similar scene at blacksteeple castle where Nastasia will say 'she has no feelings to hurt' or something like that, and it's also said that they attacked the SS Oceana to kidnap Nancy leaving me to question what she actually is (or even if she is the biological mother to begin with - not that there's any particular reason for me to question this still but there's something really sketchy going on at any rate).

Yh, the Absol Statue held the dark one, but the only other interactable thing I found was an unreadable book at the entrance. Perhaps that's why I also missed Elgyem?
That added info on the ship could explain the strange phrasing at the end of this episode. After our bath of lava, Crescent says 'I can't save you forever', which Is a very weird thing to say for someone 'distant'.
I didn't restart the entire game for V6, so that explains my confusion, perhaps.

Crescent obviously has ulterior motives. I'm thinking she's secretly evil. Earlier in the game, I believe Crescent tried to establish trust between you and her by putting on this facade that she's a good person. I don't see her being with Team Xen, since she strongly, strongly hates them. In fact, in the newest release, we witness her facade deteriorating. Crescent is someone who's very level-headed...or so we thought. We watch

Crescent almost kill Sharon for crying out loud.

Her hatred for Team Xen and her motives are still unknown...but don't let

Crescent turning Zetta into a Solosis, banishing Geara to who knows where, and resurrecting you

distract you. She is not someone to trust.

I hate Crescent! Most definitely she's evil with her own purposes, but the question is where she lies in the prophecy, if at all. Is she "pure evil?" Or is she actually on the good side?

I believe that Crescent's on the gray line, on neither side but to the player she leans more towards darkness....what I'm wondering however is how a few people refer to Giratina as a "Foul Demon"...when technically it's one of the creation deities....then again it DID get banished to the Distortion World for it's violence. Then there are these Spacea and Tiempa characters that Melia mentioned...and considering she said it's been"three years"before changing that to a long time makes me think that they are Dialga and Palkia or more specifically, spiritual incarnations of them or something. The Names are far too close to what those two represent for them not to be related to the deities in some way. If so...shouldn't there be a representative for Giratina aswell?

Maybe not directly the representative, but Geara could be it considering he used Giratina for his own purposes. Also, Geara and Giratina sounds remotely similar, doesn't it? :P

I feel like somehow Geara will find Giratina again and there's gunna be something deeper with him and Narcissa...who I already suspect to either be his mother(Geara only looks to be in his early 20's)Heck she even calls him Gregory which means that they definitely know eachother. But Geara could technically be one....but yeah. This won't be the last we see of Giratina...oh no....pls let me be right :[

gregory house the doctor

I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of him either. I have a feeling it's gonna take more than mewtwo slamming him into OBLIBVION the pedestal to get rid of him :V

In Wispy Tower there's a grave that says "Here lies Gregory", meaning he was probably in the tower when Madame X burned it down. Geara then made a new identity and joined Team Xen.

If you go to the right before the last room in the hidden library, you'll be able to climb up and go to the room with the absol statue - however, there's a second branch that also goes right slightly before that, and if you follow that path you can climb up and go to a different room with a gardevoir statue and the elgyem. I'm not actually sure why it's so easy to miss that path, when I looked for it in my second time through it seemed so obvious I have no idea how I missed it - I suppose I must have thought that it was the same path as the one further ahead and thought I had already gone there.

Crescent has actually saved you 2 times for sure, and 1 time 'sort of' on the ship, possibly more before the game started - she teleported you out of Carotos Mountain before the facility exploded (not to mention saved you from the shadow mewtwo), of course saved you at the end of episode 6, and on the ship she teleported you somewhere else on the ship before the bomb went off (though, it's not clear that that really mattered since it seems the other people around you before the teleport weren't injured anyway).

One other thing worth mentioning about Crescent - in v6 there's a scene of her talking to Ren after you beat Narcissa, and it's strongly implied that she convinces him to join team Xen - it seems completely contradictory with everything else she's been doing, but make of it what you will.

Hmm. Those facts make me think that Crescent REALLY wants the prophecy to be in place. Putting the Betrayal in place, saving your MC's ass a bunch of times... Makes it seem like after the 4v4 battle occurs she'll be able to reach her final form or something from the chaos. Maybe she thrives on the chaos energy that was mentioned in Blacksteeple Castle?

On the other hand though she keeps telling the main character to stay out of it and just live their life normally, which kind of contradicts that notion.

It might be possible that MC's actions are somehow stopping someone from fitting in the prophecy ,like, Melia or the MC himself so, Crescent had to get him to stay out of it.

I kinda think madameX might be future Melia but maybe I just wacth too much Fate. :P And something about Team Xen maybe thet're all dead and madameX somehow get them to live again becuase some of the grunt are saying "I just want to live" or some thing and at the secret tomb there a grave that says "rest in peace,Eli" too. I guess I kinda throw random theories all over the place didnt I.

I've been thinking that since I first started playing rejuvenation.

The only thing I can think of is that Crescent as a name is remarkably close to Cresselia, the Legendary Pokemon that obviously represents the moon. Hell, she seems to favor Psychic powers and Pokemon as well. Of course, the moon has both a dark and a light side.

The MC's mother was a Fairy specialist. And we've established that Fairy types are actually immune to the shadow-turning process. So what does that mean for our MC? Is he/she a warrior of light? Crescent seems to want them out of the way for some reason, however. Aelita is most likely one of the Warriors of Light mentioned in the prophecy as well. She specializes in Fighting types.

Melia is a normal type specialist. Normal, I think, is supposed to represent a neutral force. It's with this idea that I really don't think she's actually one of the warriors of Light. But the MC may be pushing her towards the light path, while Team Xen seeks to convert her to dark.

Ren appears to be a Dark user. Madame X seems to specialize in Dragon types. Gaera may be another dark warrior, specializing in Ghost types.

Just randomly throwing observations out there...

Also, that 'Melia may have split into 3 differing on age' theory might be somewhat plausible. Know what else split into 3? The whole region itself. Strangely though, I think Melia might also be connected to the emotion trio (Azelf, Uxie, Mespirit). This might be looking too much into it, but at that lake at the beginning of the game, isn't there a statue of one of the three pixies? Probably looking too much into it though.

I tried going back to read the prophecies so that I could post both of them here, but for some reason, my character can't read either of them.

You need the book that you got during the quest to be able to read them - if you gave them to the NPC you won't be able to read the Garufa stuff anymore, at least until you get the other book in the game (in the sheridan wetlands with the itemfinder).

In theory the optimal way is to start the quest for the hidden library after finishing the other help requests, so you can just not finish it and hold onto the book until you can get to the sheridan wetlands before finishing the help request and giving the guy the book. I mean, unless you just don't care about the blue moon ice cream which truthfully might not even matter very much if you miss it, in which case you can just not give the book at all.

No, she uses Shiny mons, regardless of type.

EDIT: I found the gardevoir statue in the library, but can't read the text. I have an Ancient Book with me, though.

EDIt2: Oh great, I can't read any of the statues anymore. This is weird.

Melia is not a normal type specialist. She is a shiny specialist. (I don't even think she has a normal type pokemon on her team)

Her former identity, Maronete however, was a normal specialist, but she has no memories of that.

Jan revised the whole story, and Pre-Leader Melia has a team of Normal types. However, this changes when she turns to Enigma and acquire more shinnies.
