Eeveelutions! (CAP)

Recommended Posts

As a big fan of Eeveelutions I love all the new evolutions that you guys made <3 (but I prefer the monotype concepts more than the hybrids)
A few notable moves that some Eeveelutions can have:
Shenreon: Dragon Dance, Roost, Steel Wing, Sky Drop, Fly
Toxeon: Hone Claws, Thief, Fling, Venom Drench
Zephreon: Hail, Nature Power ,Weather Ball, Mirror Move, Stell Wing (only if its sprite has wings)
Spectreon: Fling, Quash, Embargo, Trick Room, Snarl, Trick, Gravity
Titaneon: maybe Gyro Ball or Autotomize

A gimmick set for Zephreon:
Petaya Berry
Ability: Speed Boost
Curse
Stored Power
Substitute

Roost

Since Stored Power's damage isn't affected by the Curse's Speed drop you can set up while you don't loose speed thanks to Speed Boost and use enough Substitutes to activate the berry and gain speed every turn! Roost to stay in battle as much as possible.

Analysis:

Pros:

- Sand Stream combined with 130 Defense gives Obsideon solid bulk.

- 95 Special Attack is decent.

- Has some coverage in Earth Power, Flash Cannon, and Shadow Ball.

- Carries the same support as all Eeveelutions, plus Stealth Rocks and Sand Stream.

Cons:

- 65 HP is a real downer to its Defenses.

- 65 Speed is really slow.

- Rock has 5 weaknesses, not very good for a defensive-based Pokemon.

- It can't really use STAB Rock Head Head Smash with only 60 Attack. It's just terrible.

Captivate, Charm, Curse, Detect, Endure, Fake Tears, Flail, Natural Gift, Stored Power, Synchronoise, Tickle, Wish, Yawn, Growl, Baby-doll Eyes, Swift, Refresh, Take Down, Charm, Baton Pass, Double-Edge, Trump Card

Analysis

Pros

- Well, 130/95/110 bulk puts any other Eeveelution to shame.

- I mean, it gets Sketch, and thanks to the stupid Move Relearner, it can get four moves it can't normally get instead of just one.

- I'll just reiterate that it can learn ANY move (besides Chatter, Struggle, and Sketch, of course).

Cons

- 65/65 offenses suck, and 60 base speed is pretty bad, worse than Smeargle. Maybe try Trick Room?

Checks and Counters

- Bisharp or Serperior is probably your best bet, since Sticky Web is going to be a very common move on Paletteon. The speed drop will give you a boost to your power.

- Other walls such as Mega Slowbro or Mega Venusaur can try to wall out Paletteon. These walls can also do damage to Paletteon, while Paletteon can't deal damage against them.

- Rapid Spin or Defog can easily get rid of the hazards Paletteon might set up.

Usage: OU

Supportive Smeargle's Set:

Leftovers

Trace

- Spore

- Stealth Rocks

- Sticky Web

- Toxic Spikes / Spikes / Nuzzle / Super Fang / Wish / Heal Bell / Rapid Spin(basically anything else you want, really)

248 HP, 4 Def, 4 SpD, 252 Spd

Abstract Art: (because this is an abstract set most people won't use because why wouldn't you use the supportive set)

Leftovers

Trace

- Toxic / Will-o-Wisp

- Wish

- Heal Bell

- [insert attack here]

248 HP, 8 Def, 252 SpD OR 248 HP, 252 Def, 8 SpD

P.S. I was meaning for Paletteon to be able to only Sketch one move, but then the Move Relearner exists...

Maybe a special move tutor that learns Sketch only once for each Palateon?

Also how about protean for its HA? Maybe it would be too op, but it doesn't have the best learnset to utilize it as good as Greninja.

As a suggestion, maybe something similar to Mega Eevee from Pokemon Insurgence?
The Mega form blocks Eevee from evolving, but whenever Mega Eevee uses a move it turns into the Eeveelution of that type, a nice tactical option, it's similar to the Protean ability but with a massive visual change.
