I did it as well, are you sure you don't talk about the Ho-Oh sidequest ? There are two pathways initially locked before defeating the Champion, I already managed to unlock the one for Ho-Oh, but those three scientists still stand in front of the other way.

I did it (only once, as you can't do it twice), and I also defeated that strong guy in the Aurora Den, I think there is another requirement. I also noticed they both share a name beginning by X-, maybe that is a hint ?

Also in the Victory Road there is a path where the access is denied by three scientists (not the Ho-Oh one, the other one), do you know if there is a way to unlock it ?

As I thought... And do you think we could hope any update for the postgame in the future ? The game is great but the postgame is poor unfortunately. I would love to have access to the Dragon guy's tower and the Ice girl's house, could make a great sidequest for catching the Tapus, before a great rematch at the Mt Zodiac.

Those cardinals are arguably the dopest Elite 4 I ever fought. Do you know if there is a way to rematch the League ? Doesn't seem so unfortunately, which makes me absolutely gutted.

Oh ok got it. Still, I suspect Luna’s Gothitelle in the gauntlet to belong to Anna, considering they looked to use mons from each others to diversify the teams. But yeah if Ame took the time to state such a thing, that would means it is unlikely to see a Gothitelle in her team.

I'd rather go for Goodra, Haxorus and Tyrantrum over Naganadel, Altaria and Flygon in Saphira's case. Also for what I remember, Anna is known to fight with Gothitelle as her ace. Furthermore Starmie looks like a huge possibility considering how the Starlight Arena works. I'd also put my bets on Alakazam and maybe Mega-Metagross if she doesn't fight with Nostrachi. Jynx will be her lead anyway.

Starmie is pretty reliable as a strong revenge killer. Good sp. attack, excellent speed, insane movepool including its STABs and the famous BoltBeam. You can even use something like Recover or Rapid Spin depending on the rest of your team. If you plan to go rain Omastar is also a good option.

Well since Ame and Cass are about to insistently tease us with Razor Wind for few months, I was wondering what is that all about ? Nothing is sure by any means, but I suspect a high buff on it, something like healing you by 25 or 50% first turn or increasing some stat, I would bend over a defensive utility. Then with all that heavy teasing, I was expecting that it would be highlighted in at least one major fight, to show how it shines. And I was wondering, which one ? So I tried to figure out which Pokemon could make a good use of it, and I noticed Drampa could learn it. Depending on the Razor Wind effect, I could easily imagine a Drampa in El's team in the Elite 4, with the following sets : If holding a plate : -Dragon Pulse -Nature Power -Roost/Razor Wind -Hyper Voice/Razor Wind If not : -Dragon Pulse -Nature Power -Roost/Razor Wind -Razor Wind/Flamethrower/Fire Blast That could be a good way to introduce it IMO. I would go for the first set with Hyper Voice and Razor Wind.

If I can give a tip, Volcarona has a really good matchup in that gauntlet. I trained one especially for it, with great results.

Punishment is also a surprisingly good trump card for Primeape against Titania, especially when her damn Aegislash is trying to set up on your face. after being able to take out her Empoleon and Excadrill very well.
