Team Meteor has been following us for quite some time, so I imagine they know what Pokémon we use so if they wanted they could use the same team as us. I had this idea that the enemy team would eventually have like a dynamic growth where the grunts actively use Pokémon that are strong against yours sort of like those battle frontiers. I do think it would be a pain in the ass to program in the main campaign though so it’s just a fun idea I had, not something I hope to happen.

Yeah, Team Meteor wising up and realizing we are only a threat because of our team, decide to somehow turn them against us is a terrifying prospect. But at the same time VERY interesting as a potential challenge. If you wanna get really meta though, maybe one of the rivals, Victoria, Cain, and even Fern assuming he has a unlikely change of heart throw us their team so we fight our own team with our rival's team. Like assuming Bennett is still carrying his envy over us winning all the time, i can see him trying to use our team against us.

Hydreigon: Like he's the star of my team for a reason, sure it was painful to train him to 64 but it was worth it. A famous Game dev once said a delayed game is eventually good while a bad game is bad forever. And personally, the wait just makes the game much more enjoyable when it finally arrives. Speaking of starting with Scorbunny, i gotta say Rejuvenation and Reborn are really good for making you appreciate your favorite pokemon more, like the challenge really lets see just how powerful they are. So i think Scorbunny's power would be much more noticeable in a dozens of hour long game. At least there won't be a kid talking about how you mastered type effectiveness.

From my experience, usually replaying the game on a new version is worth it, there are certain elements improved like graphics, pokemon, gym teams, and plot details that change. Like i started on this game at V10, but when i replayed the game for V11 and V12, i was pleasantly surprised at how the plot changed, like instead of soloing Shadow Mewtwo, we team up with Kenneth, or Melia's team on Valor is MUCH more powerful, or how the Oceania was changed to a Xen Battleship when escaping Black Steeple.
